View Full Version : Russian and American Military Troops Engaging in the Ukraine Right Now?!

Ben Fulford just now about 20 minutes ago, at 1913hrs, PDT, put out a very unusual "Special News Alert", which is something that I don't recall Ben doing ever, other than doing extra posts on days other than Monday, and he said:

March 1, 2014, 11:30 A.M. Japan Standard Time Special news alert: About three hours ago Russian special forces engaged US ground troops in the Ukraine, according to Russian government and gnostic illuminati sources. This move was in response to the imminent bankruptcy of the Federal Reserve Board.
If this is really happening, OMG. This is bigger than huge.
I'm scouring the alternative news sites, as well as Drudge, Rense, etc, to see if there are any news out there about this.
Please do post any relevant links and news with regards this development.
I do hope that this event brings about the final defeat of the effing Cabal.

This link is not news about the possible US/Russian military engagement, but it has some interesting pics of the situation of the riot cops being on their knees begging the people for forgiveness.
http://rt.com/news/berkut-police-russian-passports-266/
Can you imagine that happening in America? I'd bloody love to see that happen.
Take note: petro bombs, Molotov cocktails, etc, have been effective against the effing riot cops. It's time to turn the tables on the damn cops and stop them cold here in America like they did in the Ukraine.
But will that ever happen in America? I dunno, as I've completely lost all my faith in Americans, so who knows.
If the Federal Reserve Board really does collapse imminently, like this weekend, then we may be facing a banking holiday to extend into the early days of next week.
Or events may happen to bottle up any news about any purported military engagement of the US and Russian military forces, but to really bottle up such news would mean to shut down the social media, like Twitter, etc., and the disgusting NSA, CIA, FBI, etc., is perfectly capable of doing that.
Keep on scouring the news on the Internet...

There is someone I know, who would have known.
I bumped into them today, and they were far too calm. Not a peep or a twitch. Nor would they have been where I met them, if this was actually true.

Well they are reporting in the news right now that Prez Obama is warning Russia not to move in.
Point being: Normally by the time the media broadcasts the news, some event(s) have already taken place.
If so, should know more soon.

coup-government-in-kyiv-demands-u-s-britain-mount-military-response-in-crimea
The new government of Ukraine, installed after a violent coup last week and headed up by former central banker Arseniy Yatsenyuk, is calling on the United States and Britain to intervene militarily after unidentified armed men seized government buildings and airports in the semi-autonomous Crimea...
....In response to the activity by unidentified forces in the Crimea, the coup government in Kyiv demands the United States live up to an agreement signed in 1994. The Budapest Memorandum was signed by Bill Clinton, John Major, Boris Yeltsin and Leonid Kuchma. It promises to uphold the territorial integrity of Ukraine in exchange for the former Soviet republic relinquishing its nuclear weapons......
http://www.prisonplanet.com/coup-government-in-kyiv-demands-u-s-britain-mount-military-response-in-crimea.html
now put that on top of the United States military supposedly being 'reduced'....and on top of that:
The agreement calls for Russian troops to engage in policing activities at American public events on American soil. And we are seeing the same thing at the Army base at Fort Carson, Colorado where Russian soldiers are training at the local base and are engaged in local policing activities. This is an euphemism for martial law training as the Russians are being trained to interact with the American public in positions of authority.

...something a bit coincidental... then link that to:
Little Russian Girl when asked: "What does your Daddy do that he moved you all here?" replied, "He's here to shoot and kill Americans"
Steve, my mother just called in tears describing her horror story and validation of foreign troops in Danville, VA. My family farms in NC not far from Danville, VA and their neighbor (Bob) works in Danville to be near his family and first born grandchild. Often Bob will watch his granddaughter who attends school in Danville and brings her and friends over to my parents' farm.
Yesterday Bob brought his 2nd grade granddaughter and her new girlfriend and mother to meet my parents. My mother welcomed them all as usual but noticed both had accents which made her that more inquisitive.
After a short tour of the farm, looking at some wild deer, they came into the house. Being cordial, mom passed out cookies and said: "I detect an accent, do you mind if I ask where you were from?"
The little girl said they just moved here from Russia.
My mother replied: "Oh, that's a long way to come to Virginia, what does your Daddy do that he moved you all here?"
And the girl replied: "He's here to shoot and kill Americans."
The little girl's mother instantly broke down crying, saying "It's true", grabbed the daughter and left.

There have been pictures of russians on US soil for some time now. The plans are not country to country as USA against Russia. Remember folks the same group is causing this distraction. To have a new world order there has to already be a group already together and sad to say maybe the super soldier program might just have been activated. I don't know but this is scripted event and federal reserve bankruptcy will no doubt be the excuse. We need as a people have to stand more than ever together now. America is taken over by nazi type thinkers and they are not alone. China owns america by design and russia has trained on US soil for this to happen. UN will be called in upon civil unrest.
I fear Ukraine to ask US to step in is what they wanted in the first place. My opinion but stay sharp everyone!

Obama warns Russia over ‘Invasion’
March 01, 2014
US President Barack Obama says he is deeply concerned about reports of Russian military activity in Ukraine and warns there would be costs to any infringement of its sovereignty.
“The United States will stand with the international community in affirming that there will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine,’’ Mr Obama told reporters at the White House.
”We are now deeply concerned by reports of military movements taken by the Russian Federation inside of Ukraine.’’
Obama recognised that Russia had interests and cultural and economic ties with Ukraine, after the exit of the pro-Moscow government in Kiev, and also had a military facility in Crimea.
But he said any violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity would be “deeply destabilising’’.
The president did not say whether the United States had intelligence as to whether reports quoting a Ukrainian official that 2000 Russian troops had landed in the Crimea were correct.
But he warned a Russian military intervention in the post-Soviet state would “represent a profound interference in matters that must be determined by the Ukrainian people’’.

Ukrainian authorities say they have regained control of two Crimean airports seized during an “armed invasion” by Russian forces that prompted the country’s new pro-EU leaders to appeal for protection from the West.
The spiralling tensions in a nation torn between the West and Russia took another dramatic turn on Friday, when ousted president Viktor Yanukovych emerged from hiding to insist he had not been overthrown and would continue to fight for the future of Ukraine.

Mr Yanukovych told reporters in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don in his first public appearance for almost a week that he had been “compelled to leave” Ukraine after he received threats to his security.
“I have not been overthrown by anyone, I was compelled to leave Ukraine due to an immediate threat to my life and the life of those close to me,” he said, sitting at a desk alongside a senior editor from the ITAR-TASS news agency in front of three Ukrainian flags.
“I intend to continue the fight for the future of Ukraine against those who try to saddle it with fear and terror.”

Mr Yanukovych, who fled after being impeached by parliament on Saturday, savaged the anti-Kremlin and pro-EU forces who have now taken power.
“Power in Ukraine has been taken by nationalist, pro-fascist young people who represent the absolute minority of people in Ukraine.”
“This is anarchy, terror and chaos,” he added.
His comments came as Swiss authorities ordered a freeze on his assets and those of his multi-millionaire son and launched a criminal probe into alleged money-laundering by the pair.
Mr Yanukovych and his coal magnate son Oleksandr are on a list of 20 Ukrainian officials including former ministers being targeted by the authorities in Switzerland.
Liechtenstein followed suit on Friday and also froze the bank accounts of the same officials.
Austria announced it also had moved against 18 Ukrainian officials suspected of violating human rights and involvement in corruption.
Austrian media reported the group included former ministers but said it was not known if Mr Yanukovych or his family had any funds in the country.

Meanwhile, the head of Ukraine’s security and defence council said Russian soldiers and local pro-Kremlin militia were responsible for the dawn raids on Crimea’s main airport and another base on the southwest of the peninsula where pro-Moscow sentiment runs high.
A spokesman for Russia’s Crimea-based Black Sea Fleet denied any involvement in the airport occupations. But Ukraine’s parliament immediately appealed to the US and Britain to uphold a 1994 pact with Russia that guaranteed the country’s sovereignty in return for it giving up its Soviet nuclear arms.
Both MPs and UN Security Council chair Lithuania said they would also ask the world body to address the Crimea crisis at its next session — a request that would need to gain support from veto-wielding members such as Russia.

In Kiev, interim president Oleksandr Turchynov attempted to regain control over unravelling security in the vast nation of 46 million by sacking the armed forces chief appointed by Mr Yanukovych at the height of deadly protests last week.
Western governments have been watching with increasing alarm as Kiev’s new rulers grapple with the dual threats of economic collapse and secession by Russian-speaking southern and eastern regions that had backed Yanukovych.

Russian President Vladimir Putin this week stoked concerns that Moscow might use its military might to sway the outcome of Ukraine’s three-month standoff by ordering snap combat drills near the border involving 150,000 troops and nearly 900 tanks.
US Secretary of State John Kerry attempted to relieve diplomatic pressure in a crisis that has increasingly assumed Cold War overtones by announcing that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had assured him Moscow “will respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine”.

Mr Putin also appeared to take a more conciliatory approach on Thursday by vowing to work on improving trade ties and promising to support international efforts to provide Kiev with funds that could keep it from declaring a debt default as early as next week.
But tensions were soaring by the hour in Russian-speaking Crimea — a scenic Black Sea peninsula that has housed Kremlin navies for nearly 250 years and was handed to Ukraine as a symbolic gift by a Soviet leader in 1954.

Russia urged not to inflame Ukraine crisis
As the attention in the Ukraine crisis turns to the Crimea region, US Secretary of State John Kerry urges Russia not to act.
'I believe that Russia will act': Deposed Ukrainian president Yanukovych speaks after fleeing country
At least 20 men wearing the uniform of Russia's Black Sea fleet and carrying automatic rifles surrounded a Ukrainian border guard post on Friday, in a tense standoff near the port city of Sevastopol in Ukraine's Crimea region.

A Reuters reporter in the Balaklava district saw Ukrainian border police in helmets and riot gear shut inside the border post, with a metal gate pulled shut and metal riot shields placed behind the windows as protection.

A servicemen who identified himself as an officer of the Black Sea Fleet told Reuters: "We are here ... so as not to have a repeat of the Maidan."
He was referring to Kiev's Independence Square, the cradle of a popular uprising that ousted President Viktor Yanukovich.
The servicemen's presence appeared to confirm the veracity of a statement by the Ukrainian border guard service that Russian servicemen were blocking off a unit of Ukrainian border guards in Balaklava.
Russia's Black Sea fleet has a base in Sevastopol but Moscow denies its forces have been involved in the rapidly changing events in Crimea, where armed men took control of two airports earlier on Friday.
Russia says it has not violated an agreement on the movement of its military in Crimea.
Tensions have been rising on the Black Sea peninsula, the only Ukrainian region that has an ethnic Russian majority and the last major bastion of resistance to the overthrow of Viktor Yanukovich as president almost a week ago.
Interior Minister Arsen Avakov accused Russian naval forces of taking over a military airport near the port of Sevastopol, where the Black Sea fleet has its base, and other Russian forces of seizing Simferopol's civilian international airport.
"I consider what has happened to be an armed invasion and occupation in violation of all international agreements and norms," Avakov said on his Facebook page, describing it as a "provocation" and calling for talks.
This met with a Russian denial of involvement in the military airport action. "No Black Sea Fleet units have moved toward (the airport), let alone taking any part in blockading it," Interfax quoted a spokesman for the fleet as saying.
Yanukovich is expected to appear before reporters in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don later on Friday, though President Vladimir Putin has not said whether Moscow will harbour the former leader, who is on the run and wanted by the new government for mass murder after the deaths of protestors in Kiev last week.
The United States has told Russia to show in the next few days that it is sincere about a promise not to intervene in Ukraine, saying using force would be a grave mistake.
"We believe that everybody now needs to take a step back and avoid any kind of provocations," U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told a joint news conference with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier. "We want to see in the next days ahead that the choices Russia makes conform to this affirmation we received today."
Orders from Putin
The Kremlin said Putin had ordered his government to continue talks with Ukraine on economic and trade relations and to consult foreign partners including the International Monetary Fund on financial aid.
It also said Putin ordered the government to consider a request from Crimea for humanitarian aid but made no direct reference to the latest events.
Yanukovich provoked protests in Ukraine in November by backing out of plans to sign landmark deals with the European Union and instead saying Kiev would seek closer economic and trade ties with its former Soviet master Russia.
In December, Putin promised Yanukovich a $15 billion bailout, but Russia has put the deal on hold after releasing an initial instalment, saying it wants more clarity about the new government and its policies.
Ukraine's hryvnia currency has been in freefall in recent days as investors worried about Kiev's ability to repay its debts. But with the new rulers seeking IMF help, it bounced back 5 percent to 10.50 per dollar on Friday, according to Reuters data, from the record low of 11.0 reached on Thursday.
Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk said Ukraine hoped to begin receiving international aid soon and was determined to fulfil conditions needed for IMF support. A previous deal collapsed after Kiev failed to implement IMF demands for lower gas subsidies, which would have hurt Ukrainians by pushing up energy prices sharply.
The IMF also wanted a more flexible currency regime, something that has now come about as Kiev gave up this week its attempts to arrest the hryvnia's slide, which had burnt through its dollar reserves. Central bank Governor Stepan Kubiv also said foreign currency withdrawals from bank deposits would be limited to 15,000 hryvnia (AUD$1,600) per day.
Armed forces in Crimea
Kiev's new rulers have said any movement by Russian forces beyond the Black Sea fleet base in Sevastopol would be tantamount to aggression.
But it faces a major challenge in Crimea which was Russian territory until it was transferred to Ukraine in 1954, during the Soviet era. Separatism there has often flared up at times of tension between Moscow and Kiev.
Unidentified gunmen seized the Crimean parliament and raised a Russian flag on Thursday. The gunmen issued no demands and police were casually guarding the building.
Armed men took control of Simferopol airport overnight and were patrolling its grounds on Friday morning.
A Reuters eyewitness at the scene said the men, dressed in full battle gear and carrying assault rifles and machine guns, were moving freely in an out of the control tower.
A man called Vladimir, who said he was a volunteer helping the group, said: "I'm with the People's Militia of Crimea. We're simple people, volunteers ... We're here at the airport to maintain order. We'll meet the planes with a nice smile - the airport is working as normal."
The Belbek military airport near Sevastopol was taken over by what Avakov said were military units of the Russian fleet, and armed men in camouflage were guarding the perimeter fence.
One of the men was quoted as saying the aim was to prevent Avakov flying to Crimea.
"Tension is rising," Avakov said. "While we don't have direct military clashes, diplomats should talk."
Sovereignty call
The regional parliament in Crimea managed to hold a session inside the building on Thursday despite the siege, where it voted to stage a referendum on "sovereignty" for Crimea.
Russia's flag still flew from its roof, and lights were on in the windows of its top floor. It was not clear whether the armed men were still inside.
Acting-president Turchinov warned Russia on Thursday not to move personnel beyond areas permitted by treaty for those using its naval base.
"Any military movements, the more so if they are with weapons, beyond the boundaries of this territory will be seen by us as military aggression," he said.
Russia has repeatedly declared it will defend the interests of its citizens in Ukraine, and announced war games on Wednesday near the border, involving 150,000 troops on high alert. Kerry said Lavrov told him the exercises had been pre-planned.
Although Moscow says it will not intervene by force, its rhetoric since the removal of its ally Yanukovich has echoed the run-up to its invasion of Georgia in 2008, when it sent its troops to protect two self-declared independent regions and then recognised them as independent states.
Witness accounts suggest those who captured the Crimean parliament building in the early hours of Thursday were pro-Russian gunmen of some kind.

Newly appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine and former central banker Arseniy Yatsenyuk
Central banker appointed as Prime Minister of Ukraine
27 Feb 2014
by Clark Kent
A reshuffled Ukrainian Parliament installed following a coup last week has voted to appoint Arseniy Yatsenyuk as the new prime minister of the country. Yats, as Victoria Nuland, the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. State Department, called him, is a natural choice. He is a millionaire former banker who served as economy minister, foreign minister and parliamentary speaker before Yanukovych took office in 2010. He is a member of Yulie Tymoshenko’s Fatherland Party. Prior to the revolution cooked up by the State Department and executed by ultra-nationalist street thugs, Tymoshenko was incarcerated for embezzlement and other crimes against the people of Ukraine. Now she will be part of the installed government, same as she was after the last orchestrated coup, the Orange Revolution.
Yats will deliver Ukraine to the international bankers. “Ukraine is on the brink of bankruptcy and needs to be saved from collapse — Yatsenyuk has a strong economic background,” Ariel Cohen, senior fellow at the Washington-based Heritage Foundation, told Bloomberg on Wednesday. “Ukraine faces difficult reforms but without them there won’t be a successful future.”
Discussion with the IMF is crucial, US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew said earlier this week. In order to cinch the deal, the U.S. government will sweeten the pot. Lew talked with the IMF boss, Christine Lagarde, about Ukraine as he headed back from a globalist confab, the G-20 meeting in Sydney, Australia.
“Secretary Lew informed Managing Director Lagarde that he had spoken earlier in the day with Ukrainian leader Arseniy Yatsenyuk and advised him of the broad support for an international assistance package centered on the IMF, as soon as the transitional Ukrainian government is fully established by the Parliament,” MNI News reported on Monday. “Secretary Lew also noted that he had communicated to Mr. Yatsenyuk the need to quickly begin implementing economic reforms and enter discussions with the IMF following the establishment of the transitional government.”
Ukraine’s story is right out of the IMF playbook. The nation’s corrupt leaders past and present – most notably Tymoshenko, who went to prison for corruption and wholesale thievery – have enriched themselves at the expensive of ordinary Ukrainians.
“Ukraine at the dawn of independence was among the ten most developed countries, and now it drags out a miserable existence,” Communist Party leader Petro Symonenko said last year. The nation’s leaders “signed a memorandum with the International Monetary Fund to meet the requirements of the oligarchs, but on the other hand — to timely pay the interest on the IMF loans and to raise the prices for gas and electricity,” Symonenko said.
The Orange Revolution – initiated by NED, IRI, Soros and the CIA – installed a rogue’s gallery of self-seeking sociopaths who further bankrupted a country already seriously debilitated by corruption.
For the IMF and the financial elite, Ukraine is nothing less than a tantalizing bounty. “Its fertile black soil generated more than one-fourth of Soviet agricultural output, and its farms provided substantial quantities of meat, milk, grain, and vegetables to other republics,” notes ABO, a website covering energy resources. “Likewise, its diversified heavy industry supplied the unique equipment (for example, large diameter pipes) and raw materials to industrial and mining sites (vertical drilling apparatus) in other regions of the former USSR.”
After breaking away from the Soviet Union and declaring independence, it was thought the country would “liberalize” its industry and resources, in other words open them up for privatization by transnational corporations and international banks, but this did not happen quickly enough for the financiers and the corporatists.
The drop in steel prices and Ukraine’s exposure to the global financial crisis due to aggressive foreign borrowing lowered growth in 2008 and the economy contracted more than 15 percent in 2009, among the worst economic performances in the world,” ABO explains. “In August 2010, Ukraine, under the Yanukovych Administration, reached a new agreement with the IMF for a $15.1 billion Stand-By Agreement. Economic growth resumed in 2010 and 2011, buoyed by exports. After initial disbursements, the IMF program stalled in early 2011 due to the Ukrainian Government’s lack of progress in implementing key gas sector reforms, namely gas tariff increases. Economic growth slowed in the second half of 2012 with Ukraine finishing the year in technical recession following two consecutive quarters of negative growth.”
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-foNqyMJab68/UxB6yhAYfoI/AAAAAAAAOHE/ww7aWNS29oM/s1600/Arseniy-Yatsenyuk-Ukraine.jpg
Now that Yanukovych is out of the picture, the banker minion Yats is lording over the Parliament, and thuggish fascists control the streets and guard against a counter revolution that my threaten Wall Street’s coup, the coast is clear for the IMF to pick up where it left off. Ukraine, now one of the poorest countries in Europe thanks to a kleptocracy supported by Washington and Wall Street, is wide open for further looting.

Ben Fulford, February 25, 2014: War in the Ukraine and more banker murders as cabal end-game begins
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Y6aB3L6Sxg&feature=player_embedded
The Eastern Europeans and Asians are mobilizing for some sort of big global push against the cabal over the coming days, according to Russian and Asian sources. The Russians say the latest shenanigans in the Ukraine meant the cabal had crossed a red line and that Russia was ready for war.
The Asians were more secretive but nonetheless made it clear some sort of line had been crossed and that action was imminent. Meanwhile, the Bush and Rockefeller families are planning to murder 1200 bankers over the coming days in order to hide evidence against them, according to Neil Keenan.
The bankers will be young and mostly involved in algorithmic trading and manipulation of various financial markets, it is believed. Also, in a sign of how twisted these people’s minds are, it turns out that each banker death means great derivative profits.

Abandoned secret underground submarine base, Balaklava (Балаклава), the Crimea, Ukraine
http://englishrussia.com/2013/06/30/underground-submarine-base-of-the-cold-war/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balaklava
Underground submarine base
One of the monuments is an underground, formerly classified submarine base that was operational until 1993. The base was said to be virtually indestructible and designed to survive a direct atomic impact. During that period, Balaklava was one of the most secret residential areas in the Soviet Union. Almost the entire population of Balaklava at one time worked at the base; even family members could not visit the town of Balaklava without a good reason and proper identification. The base remained operational after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 until 1993 when the decommissioning process started. This process saw the removal of the warheads and low-yield torpedoes. In 1996, the last Russian submarine left the base. The base has since been opened to the public as the Naval museum complex Balaklava.
It's supposed to be 'abandoned ' now .. but this was once something like their Area 51 ..
we've once heard from someone who served there on military duty . I don't have any more specific information about it but what's in the game there for Russia ?

Coping: With Ukraine War Woo-Woo
Posted on February 28, 2014 by George Ure
Every so often our www.nostracodeus.com project comes up with something that is truly amazing. And sometimes we get more than a slight hint of the future in the process. And readers there contribute some amazing emails…and that gets me to the point:
Suppose for a moment that I told you that a prediction that the “Third World War to begin during Winter Games in 2014” was made by astrologers, shamans and parapsychologists in Russia ways back in the spring of 2011 – three years ago!.
Well, it’s true, the prediction was, in fact, made. You can find it in Pravda’s English language archives here. (http://english.pravda.ru/society/anomal/25-03-2011/117328-third_world_war-0/)
No kidding! And, if you read the story closely, you’ll find today is one of the “hot days.”
Just supposing those troops without insignia are not Russian - but planted dupes put there to foment war...?
my 5 cents (just check the strategic location of Ukraine in a global map) the "fight" is who will supply energy to Europe , in one side we have Russian (the main supplier today) and the other the U.S building its oil pipe from Iraque through Syria and Turkey to reach Europe and put competition on the Russian supply. So Ukraine is the chance Russia has to get a key territory that will make their energy supply even cheaper than America`s plan. Again, we are on a war for money, oil just like all the others in the past.

Putin seeks Ukraine troop deployment
Russia's President Vladimir Putin has asked his upper house of parliament to approve the use of Russian troops in Ukraine, the Kremlin says.
It follows discussions by both the lower and upper house of the Duma to "stabilise" the situation in Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea.
Earlier, the Ukrainian defence minister said Moscow had already deployed some 6,000 extra troops to Crimea.
Kiev has accused Moscow of deliberately trying to provoke a confrontation.
President Putin submitted the request "in connection with the extraordinary situation in Ukraine and the threat to the lives of Russian citizens", the Kremlin said.
He asked for Russian armed forces to be used "until the normalisation of the political situation in that country".

Russian parliament approves troop deployment in Ukraine
Russia's upper house of parliament has approved President Putin's request for Russian forces to be used in Ukraine.
He had asked that Russian forces be used "until the normalisation of the political situation in the country".
Russia's Black Sea Fleet is based in the Ukrainian region of Crimea, where many ethnic Russians live.
Ukraine's acting President Olexander Turchynov said he had put the army on full alert but urged people to remain calm.
In a televised address, he asked Ukrainians to bridge divisions in the country and said they must not fall for provocations.
Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who was standing next to Mr Turchynov, said he was "convinced" Russia would not intervene militarily "as this would be the beginning of war and the end of all relations".
There have been big pro-Russian rallies in several Ukrainian cities outside Crimea:
In Donetsk, Mr Yanukovych's traditional stronghold, demonstrators from a crowd of some 7,000 tried unsuccessfully to occupy the regional administration building, raising a Russian tricolour on a nearby flag-post
In Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-biggest city, dozens of people were injured after scuffles between pro- and anti-Russian protesters broke out outside the regional administration building
In Mariupol, in the south-east, hundreds of protesters carrying Russian flags gathered outside the city council in eastern and southern Ukraine.
'Red line'
Russia's Vladimir Putin submitted the request for troops "in connection with the extraordinary situation in Ukraine and the threat to the lives of Russian citizens", the Kremlin said.
The upper house went into a special session almost immediately after Mr Putin made the request, and swiftly approved it.
Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said, however, that this "does not mean that this right will be used quickly" to deploy troops.
The move has alarmed foreign leaders who were quick to express their concern.
UK Prime Minister David Cameron said "everyone must think carefully about their actions and work to lower, not escalate tensions".
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called for "an immediate restoration of calm and direct dialogue", whilst Nato's Anders Fogh Rasmussen tweeted: "Urgent need for de-escalation in Crimea".
US officials said Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel had spoken by telephone to his Russian counterpart Sergei Soigu.
The UN Security Council is expected to hold an emergency session in the coming hours, and EU foreign ministers will meet on Monday to discuss the situation.
They're faster than anyone would expect . I think it's very sad . Because those people in Ukraine who want their own sovereign state , without the Russian puppet masters , are not 'neo-nazis' necessarily , I can't say, have not been there .
I've been to town afternoon to see and feel what's going on , we are far enough , Prague was very quiet . Except for the man on main square under St Wenceslaws statue screening that Jesus saved him ;)
On several places , people placed photos and candle lights for the victims of the recent massacre in Kiev .
Forgot to mention that I've seen several guards , in civil cloth ..patrolling around the town centre , not sure what nationalities they all were but I'm sure they're watching for signs of unrest .
Other than casual tourists flooding the centre there's peace .. people exchange 'looks' though .

US warns Putin over Crimea incursion
March 2, 2014

Russia wresting control of Crimea from Ukraine
Vladimir Putin effectively wrests control of Crimea from Kiev, as Russia’s parliament votes to approve sending troops into the region citing security interests.
Russia urged not to inflame Ukraine crisis
US President Barack Obama has told Vladimir Putin that Russia has violated international law with its incursion into Ukraine, which put its army on high alert.
Saturday's 90-minute telephone call between the two leaders, whose relationship was already acrimonious at best, came after the Russian parliament gave Putin the green light to send troops into neighbouring Ukraine.
Ukraine's interim leaders immediately responded by both putting its army on heightened alert and voicing confidence that war will be averted because it would break the two neighbours' historic relations for good.
http://images.theage.com.au/2014/03/02/5217265/1393729045464.jpg-620x349.jpg
President Barack Obama talks on the phone in the Oval Office with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the situation in Ukraine.
Obama told Putin that his actions were a "breach of international law, including Russia's obligations under the UN Charter, and of its 1997 military basing agreement with Ukraine."
US officials have warned that Obama and other European leaders were unlikely to show up at the G8 summit in the showcase Black Sea resort of Sochi if the Ukraine crisis was not resolved.
"Going forward, Russia's continued violation of international law will lead to greater political and economic isolation," the White House warned in a statement.
A bloody three-month uprising in the former Soviet republic swept pro-EU leaders to power in Kiev, while also sparking a pro-Kremlin backlash on the Crimean peninsula.
In a stark escalation of what threatens to become the worst crisis in relations between Moscow and the West since the Cold War, Kalashnikov-wielding militia hoisted the Russian flag over Crimean government buildings and seized control of the peninsula's airports.
Pro-Kremlin rallies also swept several big eastern and southern Ukrainian cities whose cultural links to Moscow stretch back centuries and whose economic survival depends largely on Russian trade.
Putin's shock decision to seek authorisation from the upper house of parliament to use force in the ex-Soviet country of 46 million came less than a day after Obama warned that any such action would carry "costs" for Moscow.
In his request for the use of force, Putin said Russia also had to protect servicemen of the Black Sea Fleet that is based in Crimea's port town of Sevastopol "fully in line with an international accord".
The Federation Council unanimously approved Putin's request after a lightning-fast debate.
Putin had issued only one brief statement since Ukraine's parliament on February 22 ousted president Viktor Yanukovych - who has since fled to Russia - after a week of carnage in Kiev that claimed nearly 100 lives.
In his call with Obama, Putin said Russia has the right to "protect its interests" in Ukraine, as he warned of a "real threat weighing on the lives and the health of Russian citizens" in the country, a Kremlin statement said.
Russia's step toward its first war since a five-day conflict with neighbouring Georgia in 2008 sparked an immediate international outcry.
At the United Nations, the United States demanded an immediate end to Russian intervention in Ukraine as Kiev urged the Security Council to stop the crisis.
In a call with Putin, a "gravely concerned" UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon urged him to quickly organise direct talks with authorities in Kiev.
The vast country's bloodiest crisis since its 1991 independence erupted with Yanukovych's decision in November to reject a deal that would have opened Ukraine's door to eventual EU membership in favour of tighter ties with old master Moscow.
Ukraine's interim president Oleksandr Turchynov told the nation he had put the country's armed forces on alert and ordered extra security around airports and nuclear power plants.
Ukraine's Defence Minister Igor Tenyukh had earlier said that Russia had already sent 30 armoured personnel carriers and 6000 additional troops into Crimea to help pro-Kremlin militia gain broader independence from the new pro-EU leaders in Kiev.
Putin's move came after an appeal for help from Crimea's newly chosen premier Sergiy Aksyonov - a ruler not recognised by Kiev.
Several dozen people were hurt in the eastern city of Kharkiv when a few hundred people broke away from a pro-Russian crowd of 20,000 and attempted to storm the regional administration centre.
More than 10,000 people carrying Russian flags also protested against Kiev's new rulers in the ousted leader's eastern stronghold of Donetsk.
A top Moscow senator said 143,000 Ukrainians had fled to Russia since the crisis first broke out.
NATO called emergency talks with its 28 ambassadors for Sunday at 1200 GMT on the escalating crisis.
British Foreign Secretary William Hague said ahead of a visit to Kiev on Sunday that he had summoned the Russian ambassador to register his concerns over Moscow's "potentially grave threat to the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine".
Condemning the "unwarranted escalation of tensions," EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton said the 28-nation bloc's foreign ministers would hold crisis talks on Monday.

Crimea is an autonomous republic belonging to the Ukraine, about as big as Massachusetts and connected to the mainland by a four-mile long isthmus. Because the Ukraine is obviously heavily destabilized, not least thanks to US aid to extremists in the Ukraine, Russia is seeking to protect its people and installations on the Crimea (http://www.infowars.com/putin-requests-use-of-russian-military-in-ukraine/), where large parts of Russia's Black Sea Fleet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sea_Fleet) are stationed.
What would the US do if one of the countries where they have bases around the world would experience something similar? This is not about driving tanks into Kiev, yet the American media and political leaders talk like Russia is invading the entire Ukraine out of a whim while threatening Russia that "there will be costs for any military intervention." (http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/28/world/europe/ukraine-politics/)No wonder Russia is recalling its ambassador from the US (http://benswann.com/breaking-russia-recalling-ambassador-from-u-s-sending-troops-into-ukraine/). And who is Obama to condemn military interventions; how about drone strikes, how about the war in Lybia?
This whole media circus and political skirmish looks like a giant, pathetic show of idiocy to me. Who follows any of these people (Obama, the Ukrainian Neo-Nazi party (http://www.infowars.com/us-backed-neo-nazi-party-given-key-roles-in-ukrainian-government/) in their new government, Putin, the mainstream media), seriously? It's time for the real people to use some common sense; no more violence incited by maniacs in fancy suits in front of TV cameras, let's just get our act together.

Allow me to tell you this much ... knowing no amount of flawed rhetorics is going to fix the situation anyway but ...
care to check the Google Maps for the size of Russia ..and size of the former Soviet Union and how much political power and 'russian supremacy' are these people used to exercise over as many territories as they think they can handle .
The Olympic Games in Sochi ( like many of the other Olympic Games in recent years ) looked like one power show . Letting the world know that they are still the 'super-power' , with all that it means ..
You and I will probably all agree here that we don't want wars and world divided to zones . Cultured people do not need this. Terrorist groups can be brought under control .
But what is in the game here are stupid peoples power mongering interests . I have to say , feeling very ashamed to be part of it in any sense .
From my inner point of view , any of your nationalistic believes or racial prejudice is fluke . I don't mind whether it's Chinese , Russian , Tibetan , Japanese or American nationalism and hatred towards everyone else who are seen as 'lesser people' .
Generations of your ancestors who lived scattered around the world on small isles of culture and civilisations , for thousands and millions of years, often isolated from each other,
preaching they are the only children of God and seeing everyone outside as 'alien' , 'barbarian' and most probably, quite another specie , built this to your DNA .
The world is slowly growing over the isolation and its internal conflicts but every form of ages old totemism, turned to nationalism, tribal wars , racism in its worst forms persists and defies all of my cultured faith in mankind .
It took centuries to convince people that 'we are all human beings' , one family, living on planet that is basically Round .
These people or some other people are not yours or mine enemies.
I read about these neo-nazi Ukrainians payed by the West wanting their own country and democracy ,
and voices of the dark net sending them all to proverbial hell because for you and you , they are 'all Russians' . For the Russians , you are potentially 'all enemy ' .
Who am I to talk yes ? A Voice of Reason is all that maybe left at the end, and it matters not whose is the reason ..because reasoning , knowledge and other such are not yours or anybody else's economical possessions .
If you trade them, sell them for protectionism and faith that some BB will save your butt, that's your own problem though .
There are still millions of Russians in Ukraine at the moment and Ukraine though independent remained one of their last puppet states . Being a 'Russian' in Ukraine meant something like being 'Han' in China ,
or one of the first colonists of America , far better person with more credits than everyone else, right ?
Let me ask you this one, do you really believe that the whole 'anti'Obama' movement in the US is based on laws and political reasoning ? Some kind of logic ?
If Obama was tall white man with blond hair no one would dare to question his ancestry to this deal and his deeds would be discussed 20 years after he's left the office . Good or bad .
Do you think you 'don't have it in your blood' ?
You see, you all carry thousands, millions years of conflicting history in your genes and lots of anger towards someone . All of our parent generation have it .. discretely but they do , some of them because ignorance and isolation, others because wars .
They're all pretty fixed on running the world as they used to have it . They are freaking out about every change .
They were freaking out at the times when we rejoiced and the iron curtain fell down in Berlin because they thought there'll be war, because their little -big world with BB taking care of their pensions was collapsing .
In the eyes of these people the world would better never change. They want to maintain their safe blocks , borders and barricades .
The same people will better support Russian dominion because it confirms their ages old ideas about how this world should be run, by powerful people, right ?
They need their friends and enemies , and weapon race and competition on grand scale because they believe this is the way how to run this world .
If the US , for some reason... attacked Mexico .. you know that half of the Mexicans would seek shelter in the US, they do this anyway, you built a wall not to let them through . There, they'd be treated as 'inferior citizens' for couple of generations .
I call this ignorance, pride and hatred .
There is no apology for Russia maintaining their military structure in Ukraine, as well there's no excuse for them threatening the rest of the world with missiles . If they put down the weapons , the other two parties concerned would do the same .
They were offered very big gesture of peace from the NATO, what was their response ? Zilch.
What normal person wants these wars, destruction, armies, nuclear threats , enemies , other than their wrongful consciousness , flawed conscience and arrogant pride .
I don't believe anyone should engage in this , let them go home .

Three Russian regions have reported increasing flows of refugees from Ukraine. Thousands of refugees from southern, eastern and central Ukraine are pouring into the Belgorod region, Belgorod Governor Yevgeny Savchenko said. The refugees motivate their desire to stay in Russia by the ongoing rampage unleashed by the unruly ultra-right who seized power and think that they can get away with anything, he said.
A group of unidentified men attempted to shut the Moscow-Crimea M2 highway, Savchenko told the Rossiya-24 television.
"Crowds of gunmen - no one knows where they came from – are roaming around, staging all sorts of provocations. Yesterday, they attempted to block the Moscow-Crimea highway. We are deeply concerned," the governor said.
People are fleeing political and social uncertainty, saying they no longer feel safe in their country, Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev told reporters.
Most refugees are perplexed by what's happening in Ukraine, they fear for their safety, echoed Bryansk Region Governor Nikolay Denin.
The refugees have all the sympathy and understanding from locals, he added.
More than 140,000 Ukrainians have fled to Russia since the beginning of unrest in Ukraine, according to Federation Council Speaker Yevgeny Bushmin.
Many refugees are staying with their relatives and friends, he said.

Ukraine mobilizes after Putin's 'declaration of war'
http://news.yahoo.com/putin-ready-in...ance.html?vp=1
KIEV/BALACLAVA, Ukraine (Reuters) - Ukraine mobilized for war on Sunday, after Russian President Vladimir Putin declared he had the right to invade, creating the biggest confrontation between Moscow and the West since the Cold War.
"This is not a threat: this is actually the declaration of war to my country," said Ukraine's Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk, head of a pro-Western government that took power when Russian ally Viktor Yanukovich fled last week.
Putin obtained permission from his parliament on Saturday to use military force to protect Russian citizens in Ukraine, spurning Western pleas not intervene.
Russian forces have already bloodlessly seized Crimea - an isolated Black Sea peninsula where Moscow has a naval base. On Sunday they surrounded several small Ukrainian military outposts there and demanded the Ukrainian troops disarm. Some refused, although no shots were fired.
Russia has staged war games with 150,000 troops along the land border, but so far they have not crossed. However, pro-Russian demonstrators have marched in the east of the country and have raised Russian flags over government buildings in several cities, in what Kiev says is a move orchestrated by Moscow to justify a wider invasion.
Ukraine's security council ordered the general staff to immediately put all armed forces on highest alert, the council's secretary Andriy Parubiy announced.
The Defense Ministry was ordered to conduct a call-up of reserves - theoretically all men up to 40 in a country with universal male conscription, though Ukraine would struggle to find extra guns or uniforms for significant numbers of them.
"If President Putin wants to be the president who started the war between two neighboring and friendly countries, between Ukraine and Russia, so: he has reached this target within a few inches. We are on the brink of disaster," Yatseniuk said in televised remarks in English, appealing for Western support.
THREAT TO EASTERN UKRAINE
At Kiev's Independence Square, where anti-Yanukovich protesters had camped out for months, thousands demonstrated against Russian military action. Speakers delivered rousing orations and placards read: "Putin, hands off Ukraine!"
Oleh, an advertising executive cooking over a big open fire at the square where he has been camped for three months, said: "If there is a need to protect the nation, we will go and defend the nation.... If Putin wants to take Ukraine for himself, he will fail. We want to live freely and we will live freely."
Of potentially even greater concern than Russia's seizure of majority ethnic Russian Crimea are eastern swathes of the country, where most ethnic Ukrainians speak Russian as a native language.
Those areas saw more demonstrations on Sunday after violent protests on Saturday, and for a second day pro-Moscow demonstrators hoisted flags at government buildings and called for Russia to defend them. Kiev said Russia had sent hundreds of its citizens across the border to stage the protests.
Putin's declaration that he has the right to invade his neighbor - for which he quickly received the unanimous approval of his senate - brought the prospect of war to a country of 46 million people on the ramparts of central Europe.
"President Obama expressed his deep concern over Russia's clear violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity, which is a breach of international law," the White House said after the leaders spoke for 90 minutes on Saturday.
Ukraine has appealed for help to NATO, and directly to Britain and the United States, as co-signatories with Moscow to a 1994 accord guaranteeing Ukraine's security after the breakup of the Soviet Union.
NATO ambassadors met in Brussels to discuss their next steps. Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen accused Russia of threatening peace and security in Europe.
SYMBOLIC RESPONSE
Washington has proposed sending monitors to Ukraine under the flags of the United Nations or Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, bodies where Moscow would have a veto.
So far, the Western response has been largely symbolic. Obama and other leaders suspended plans to attend a G8 summit in Sochi, where Putin has just finished staging his $50 billion winter Olympic games. Some countries recalled ambassadors.

"This is probably the most dangerous situation in Europe since the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968," said a Western official. "Realistically, we have to assume the Crimea is in Russian hands. The challenge now is to deter Russia from taking over the Russian-speaking east of Ukraine."
Ukraine's tiny armed forces would be no match against the might of its superpower neighbor. Britain's International Institute of Strategic Studies estimates Kiev has fewer than 130,000 troops under arms, with planes barely ready to fly and few spare parts for a single submarine.
Russia, by contrast, has spent billions under Putin to upgrade and modernize the capabilities of forces that were dilapidated after the breakup of the Soviet Union. Moscow's special units are now seen as equals of the best in the world.
In Crimea, Ukraine's tiny contingent made no attempt to oppose the Russians, who bore no insignia on their uniforms but drove vehicles with Russian plates and seized government buildings, airports and other locations in the past three days. Kiev said its troops were encircled at least three places.
Igor Mamchev, a Ukrainian navy colonel at a small base near the regional capital Simferopol, told Ukraine's Channel 5 television a truckload of Russian troops had arrived at his checkpoint and told his forces to lay down their arms.

"I replied that, as I am a member of the armed forces of Ukraine, under orders of the Ukrainian navy, there could be no discussion of disarmament. In case of any attempt to enter the military base, we will use all means, up to lethal force.
"We are military people, who have given our oath to the people of Ukraine and will carry out our duty until the end."
Dmytro Delyatytskiy, commander of Ukrainian marines barricaded into a base in the Crimean port of Feodosia, told the same television station by telephone he had refused a Russian demand that his troops give up weapons by 10 a.m.
"We have orders," he said. "We are preparing our defenses."
Elsewhere on the occupied peninsula, the Russian forces appeared to be assuming a lower profile on Sunday after the pro-Moscow Crimean leader announced overnight that the situation was now "normalized". Russians had vanished from outside a small Ukrainian guard post in the port of Balaclava that they had surrounded with armored vehicles on Saturday.

A barricade in front of the Crimean regional parliament had been dismantled. A single armored vehicle with two soldiers drove through the main square, where people snapped photos.
Putin's justification - the need to protect Russian citizens - was the same as he used to launch a 2008 invasion of Georgia, where Russian forces seized two breakaway regions.
In Russia, state controlled media portray Yanukovich's removal as a coup by dangerous extremists funded by the West and there has been little sign of dissent with that line.
Putin told Obama "there are real threats to the life and health of Russian citizens and compatriots on Ukrainian territory", according to the Kremlin's readout of the phone call. Moscow reserved the right to intervene on behalf of Russian speakers anywhere they were threatened, Putin added.
So far there has been no sign of Russian military action outside Crimea, but Kiev officials accused Moscow of being behind the pattern of violent protests in eastern cities.

Pro-Moscow demonstrators flew Russian flags on Saturday and Sunday at government buildings in cities including Kharkiv, Donetsk, Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk. In places they clashed with anti-Russian protesters and guards defending the buildings.
Ukrainian parliamentarian Hrygory Nemyriya, a spokesman to foreign journalists for the new authorities, said the pro-Moscow marchers were sent from Russia.
The worst violence took place in Kharkiv, where scores of people were hurt on Saturday when thousands of pro-Russian activists, some brandishing axe handles and chains, stormed the regional government and fought pitched battles with a smaller number of supporters of Ukraine's new authorities.
In Donetsk, Yanukovich's home city, the local government building was flying the Russian flag for the second day on Sunday. The local authorities have called for a referendum on the region's status, a move Kiev says is illegal. A pro-Russian "self-defense" unit held a second day of mass protests, attracting about 1,000 demonstrators carrying Russian flags.
Ludmila Petrova, 35, described the new authorities in Kiev as "slaves of the European Union" and said she favored Putin's declaration of the right to intervene.
"Maybe this will stop the hotheads in Kiev from bringing war to the Don basin and the Crimea. Maybe now they will think there is someone willing to defend these people."

How much gas does Russia export to European countries and isn't that factor alone going to allow Putin to ultimately call the shots should the US and G8 try to impose sanctions on Russia? This seems like a no-win battle and Putin, at the end of the day, will be the victor.

I have been told from my few remaining sources that indeed "It has begun"... With little other details. It tells me it is time to make sure you are stocked up on supplies, do not have large amounts of $ in any banks and begin to be a "Grey Man", flying under the RADAR... Blend in and just get ready to ride things out.
It may be soon or a little while longer before we see things openly occur in the USA. As far as US ASSETS ENGAGING RUSSIAN? If so it would have only been Intel types, but I doubt it. I am sure some "Brown Shoe Lace's" have been captured (CIA coup organizers).
The CABAL is trying desperate old tricks to destabilize BRICS Allied Nations Globally (South America and Asia are also HOT SPOTS).
They are Legally and Economically painted into a corner. So false flags are probable as are MASS DESTRACTION OPERATIONS, which rumors have included announcements of off world life in some fashion. Just do not underestimate the mortally wounded beast right now.
Just don't get caught up in the fear or any protests... Watch and be wise. The cabal has cleverly staved off certain death several times in the last few years alone.
I am not posting much these days and mainly watching and preparing. Do the same IMHO.

German media making U-turn on Ukrainian tug-o‘-war? (http://voiceofrussia.com/news/2014_03_02/German-media-making-U-turn-on-Ukrainian-tug-o-war-6594/)

Radio listeners across Germany have reportedly woken up to a surprise turnaround in the media coverage of the escalating Ukrainian crisis following the February regime change and the ensuing uprising of Ukraine's Russia-leaning east and south.
German blogosphere and social networks are abuzz with the new stance of several state-run radio stations that have opted – in a moment of truth-seeking – to go against the massive tide of pro-West reporting and get to the root of the crisis that is tearing the ex-Soviet republic in two.
Bloggers are discussing the recent shows aired by the Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), a member of German ARD consortium, which is now explaining to its German audience the difference between Ukraine's western and eastern populations.
According to on-the-ground reports, a slew of WDR services – WDR Eins Life, WDR 2, WDR 4 – and live news channel N24 have revised their take on the Ukrainian crisis overnight, going from the Ukraine-under-Russian-siege rhetoric to detailed coverage of pro-Russian protests that have fanned out across Crimea and scuffles between rival groups in the country's east.
Germany's mainstream channels still cling on to the black-and-white story of alleged Russian invasion in the autonomous Crimean peninsula in a US-driven bid to pressure Russia into giving up on the country in its “backyard”.
Meanwhile, comments that appear on the websites of Germany's most influential online magazines seem to disagree with the country's official stand, with Spiegel readers talking about evident illegitimacy of Ukraine's new self-proclaimed rulers and Russia's intrinsic right to defend its military facilities in Crimea, which serves as the home base of its Black Sea Fleet.
Many commentators pointed out that the Turchynov regime should put the status of Crimea to a referendum, while others were apparently anxious about neo-Nazi views taking hold in Ukraine.
Many Germans underscored that calls for non-intervention sounded hypocritical, to say the least, when coming from the United States leadership, considered a string of invasions in Cuba, Iraq, Libya and its recent attempts to attack Syria.
Anti-regime protests are meanwhile spreading across the east and south of the country. In several cities, pro-Russia activists entered parliament buildings and raised the Russian flag.
According to Germany's largest daily Sueddeutschezeitung, residents in Kharkiv threw pro-regime forces out of the regional government's headquarters shouting “Krakhiv and Russia!” Police did not interfere. Similar protests have engulfed the coal mining city of Donetsk.

Ukrainian armed forces dispatched to Crimea have switched to the side of local authorities and are expected to take military oath soon, Russian news agencies report.
"Today the majority of the Ukrainian armed forces deployed in Crimea passed to the side of the authorities of the Crimean autonomous region. The transition was absolutely peaceful, without a single shot fired either by the military or by the forces of self-defense," an unnamed source told RIA Novosti news agency.
The source added that some of the servicemen also ran away, while some submitted letters of resignation.
The local military have not been paid for many months, the source also told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Ukrainian troops in Crimea were said to be resigning on a massive scale. Living quarters, weapons and ammunition have all been left under the protection of the so-called 'self-defense forces.'
Letters of resignation have been coming in since early morning, as the self-defense forces continue to preserve order on the streets of Simferopol, RIA Novosti said citing own reporters on the ground.
KX_foA1CT8w
Since Thursday, the city's Supreme Council and a number of other buildings have been occupied and guarded by the self-defense forces run by the local population.
Crimea's deputy prime minister, Rustam Temirgaliev, announced that the Ukrainian armed forces have all but surrendered their military capabilities and that no active units remain in the Crimea.
"The entire Ukrainian armed forces stationed on the Crimean territory have been blocked," Interfax reported him as saying. "The self-defense forces have taken control of the landing strips of all the Crimean airports and airfields."
The deputy PM said that that the region's security services and emergency services now report to the local government.
Crimeans began protesting after the new self-imposed government in Kiev introduced a law abolishing the use of other languages for official documents in Ukraine. More than half the Crimean population are Russian and use only this language for their communication. The residents have announced they are going to hold a referendum on March 30 to determine the fate of the Ukrainian autonomous region.

I have been in Crimea. The language we used (with interpreter) all along was Russian. The other language we used was a turkic language used by Crimean Tatars.
The whole Crimea was majority Russian since the first world war because Russians killed and deported most of the Tatars that own the land and had the farm. It was a mass genocide and exodus of Crimean Tatar race.
The Russian took their homes and started to live in, as if their own
Then, Crimea became russian. The Russians pushed away pretty much all the Ukrainians too.
It is a very nice vacation resource, exceptionally good land for farming that has been polluted by Thernobyl radiation in parts, but mainly the access to the meditarenean see for the Russians, through the Bosphorus. And we know how much this access is needed right now with Syria and all.
So yes, the majority is now Russian and they will try to defend their own and Sevastopol is a Russian miitary base.

The Ukrainian 'Holodomor' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor) situation from the past is what has these people saying they'll rid themselves of 'jews and Russians alike'.
What happened to them is something that makes the WWII 'extermination' pale in comparison. from people that were there, the tally looks like it came up to nearly 20 million dead. Over a long period of time. I know that's a big number. Quite high, but this whole thing did not go down over the so called 2 year period. it was systematic, huge, extended and well organized, over a much longer period. Burned right into the remaining people's genetics.
None of that information, which is real (and severely under-reported and under-recorded - ie, softened up and numbers reduced), has ever gained any traction or print, in the west.
I'd say it isn't really anchored in fascism, that is... the real dislike - isn't that at all. It is rooted in the history of the situation.
We now know we can genetically learn things, learn behaviors, and gain instinctual and emotional changes that can be carried further down the line.... it is now known that pressure and damage to an individual in ONE generation CAN be and IS passed on to the children (most recent studies in this confirm this reality).... what we have here is a well earned genetic predilection toward "No Jews....No Russians".
Why 'no Jews'? Well, Stalin's crew used local administration, you see. Who was the local administration, in all the villages and towns? when you have a hard time finding that particular information in print, ask yourself what country you are looking at that data from and what place you are getting the information from. Who might have edited it and formed it. Yet this 'weird' statement from these 'Ukrainian nationalists', saying 'no jews, no russians'. (where the heck did that come from?)
Hhmmm......
Anyway, just a potential point of view to hopefully expand people's minds away from narrowing into a simplicity. A simplicity that cannot be there, as no simple answer exists, as the situation has origins in complex roots - none of which is clear in this editorialized and watered down modern view that most people have been fed and believe to be the truth.
For example, a modern comparison that people can wrap their head around.
Iraq.
10% of the people in Iraq, religiously and genetically over time...a 10% minority reigning absolute control over the other 90%.
So don't say it can't happen, that history has no traction on this....when we have MULTIPLE known examples of exactly this situation. Right up into modern existing/running times.
I know people who have been conceived, gestated and born in basically 'war conditions'. They are, to this day... genetically, emotionally and instinctively 'shell shocked'.
Carmody
2nd March 2014, 19:53
Then, consider that there are stories, here, in this modern situation in the Ukraine... of "Mossad agent provocateurs" in the midst of the 'revolution' .....that are/were instigating this whole thing.
And ask yourself who is who, who is working with who... and who is doing what - and why.
What is their history in the region, who is creating what mess, for what purposes? Who and what is in the backdrop, doing what... and feeding what piles of steaming bull to the public, covering up what is really going on?
Carmody
2nd March 2014, 20:18
Now, consider that we are dealing with HIDDEN parameters of genetics and breeding. Who and what would always want to foment war?
Why...those who don't care about death, life, people, etc. those that care only for themselves and basically have defective frontal lobes, defects in their mental wiring, in the real sense. Which we can now clearly test for, in multiple ways.
A hidden aspect to their life and living, one they have genetically passed on and raised their children via. And since 'like gathers with like'... and not only culturally and socially interacts, but breeds together, it gets re-enforced into a smaller and smaller core group. That is much more intense. If you don't think that breeding is effective and functional and has outcomes... then go ahead and try to race a ordinary horse in a horse race. Good luck with that. Humans are as responsive to breeding as any other organic/mammal that exists on this planet.
So we have a concentration of the core issue behind this current Ukrainian situation, a concentration of issue laden people and groups which foment this sort of thing - for their own benefit.
And we end up at the solution areas, the paths that need to be walked in order to fix this issue of a world that is constantly damaging itself and tearing itself down, due to hidden factors in people, non-visible factors in people..that are allowed to run rampant across humanity's life, love and motion. Wreaking havoc as it is not dealt with squarely and directly.
http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?66489-Brainscans-and-prisoners-Outing-the-sociopaths-and-the-domino-effect&highlight=sociopaths+prisoners
To recognize the existence of that which is not on the surface, that is not visible, that is the real reasons that these sort of things happen -what they originate from. If you don't.... you are doomed to repeat this situation forever (as we have been since the dawn of known human time), and eventually have empathy and togetherness, love and caring.... eliminated from the face of the earth, and have genocidal low empathy freaks continue to run the show and kill the rest off. Ie, wake up and deal with the core reasons behind such situations, or continue to die in these situations. Forever.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, in essence, I'm not specifically reporting much it the way of 'news' in this here thread, but I am covering the origins, the true origins and true flow and background of it, in a way that is effective. Real - that cuts to the core of why and how. Which is far more essential and real than the surface bits that we deal with in the news and ordinary every day life.
Russia is clearly in the wrong by invading Crimea and taking it over like they did with thousands of troops This is an invasion but the fact that Putin did this just shows what a lunatic he is. Do we want to go to war with another crazy dictator? I say we just let them have Crimea and stay out of it like Ron Paul says. If we go to war with Russia, we'll all end up living in caves again. That's a no brainer. Let them have it even if it means a civil war in the Ukraine. That's their problem, not ours.
Russia is clearly in the wrong by invading Crimea and taking it over like they did with thousands of troops This is an invasion but the fact that Putin did this just shows what a lunatic he is.
Consider this:
Although technically part of Ukraine, Crimea is an Autonomous Republic and authorities there have firmly sided with Russia over the conflict. Vladimir Konstantinov, Chairman of the republic’s Supreme Council, urged NATO not to send troops into the region.
http://www.infowars.com/prime-minister-russia-has-declared-war-on-ukraine/
Of course, Putin doesn't care about the power and sovereignty of the people on the Crimea or anywhere. But neither does any other political leader that I can see at the top of the game. But I think Putin fortifying the Crimea seems to be a very different scenario than (say) the US "liberating" Iraq, Russia does have a lot of installations and personnel there already that is now in real danger. So far, I haven't heard of serious bloodshed on the Crimea.
Russia is there just to get their foot in the door to advance further into the Ukraine but their excuse is that they are protecting those Russians who live in Crimea which, at last count was about half the pop. in Crimea. But if those Russians who are in Crimea love Russia so much, then let them have it! There's plenty of space and jobs in Russia for those people to move back to in Russia but right now they are living in the Ukraine which is NOT Russia, it's another country. Just because Russians live in part of the Ukraine like that, does not justify Russia taking over that part of the country and to do so is an invasion of that country.
Supposing the State of New Jersey's pop. was half Mexican. And supposing there was a diplomatic breakdown between Mexico and the US where Mexico then sends thousands of troops by air and sea to New Jersey and physically takes over that State and their gov't offices to quote/unquote "protect" those Mexicans in that State.
It's the same kind of thing that's happening in Ukraine now only it's a Russian's invasion that's taken over Crimea which is a region of Ukraine.
Just because there are a lot of Russians living in Crimea does not mean that Crimea is still not a region in the country of Ukraine. Putin's invasion of Crimea is an invasion of Ukraine and that's wrong and not only that, that's an understatement.
If they only knew...
For an idea on the “big” picture…
Below are excerpts from the work of whistle blower Sue Ann Arrigo (http://avalonlibrary.net/Sue_Arrigo/).
These give the blue print for what’s happening currently to this planet on the 3D level
Here is how the implemented strategy has worked in the past:
Rothschilds/John D. Rockefeller, Sr. funded the Bolshevik Revolution
Per his writings in the Archives, John D. Rockefeller helped fund the Bolshevik Revolution to get the wealth of the Czars, the labor of the Russian people, and much the Southern Oil fields in Russia. That wealth changed its name from Czarist, to Russian Government owned. Ignore the names, what happened to it? Did the people of Russia get it? No. The Rockefeller Archives show that he built a private army in Russia, much like the Brown Shirt army later. His accountant said that for each 2 cents that he spent to build that Army he got a dollar back. That Army was not staying up late to knit socks to sell. They were beating people up and committing assassinations, massacres, and mayhem to terrorize the populace into submission. And he was bribing officials to get what he wanted. He was apparently famous for that in the US as well. See www.reformation.org/rockefeller-bribery.html (http://www.reformation.org/rockefeller-bribery.html) .
[...] the Rockefellers charged about 18% interest on the money that they loaned Lenin for the Revolution. The way that agreement was set up made all of the loot that Lenin could seize in Russia, the Rockefellers/Rothschilds.
[…]That meant that Lenin and Stalin could never get out of debt unless they could work people nearly to death to produce the goods Rockefeller/Rothschilds wanted. People thought that the ridiculous factory quotas the Russians tried to accomplish were the result of communism. That was not what I thought after reading the Archives. The Rockefellers were setting the quotas and delighting in the profits. They also delighted in giving the Russians quotas they could not meet as a way of humiliating them.
[…] I sent him [Gorbachev] copies from the Archives of documents that showed those policies had been forced upon Stalin by Rockefeller. While the people of Russia starved, Rockefeller was also insisting that Stalin sell him the grain at the price and amounts previously agreed to. But Rockefeller did not need that grain. And Rockefeller was, to a large extent, responsible for the bad policies that caused the poor crop yields and meant that selling that same amount of grain overseas ensured famine. It appeared to be a deliberate attempt, not just to get grain cheaply, but to starve people. The private journals of John D. Rockefeller, Jr. confirmed that. The Rockefeller Family seemed obsessed by the desire to kill people off, including by , and starvation. The Rockefellers have long backed population control measures fairly publicly. That was not a secret, nor their funding of ‘eugenics’ research’. See http://www.theforbiddenknowledge.com/hardtruth/omegafile29.htm (http://www.theforbiddenknowledge.com/hardtruth/omegafile29.htm) , http://www.eugenics-watch.com/eugbook/,euod_ch1.html (http://www.eugenics-watch.com/eugbook/euod_ch1.html) , http://illuminati-news.com/nazi-california.htm (http://illuminati-news.com/nazi-california.htm). But, the behind the scenes maneuvers on how they were committing those Crimes Against Humanity were secret. To them Communism was a lovely excuse to steal the wealth of the rich Russians and then kill off the poor who were not working in their factories. The factories and the oil fields had the name of the Soviet Union on them, as if they belong to the Russian Govt.. But an examination of the chain of command structure and the flow of money made it look like the Rockefellers et al were already well on their way to being Kings of the World.
Let me give you an example of that so you can understand how this system worked in practice.
John D. Rockefeller, Jr., wanted to crash prices in South America of a type of goods to force his competitors into closing. If I remember correctly, the country was Argentina and the goods were stainless steel cookware--pots and pans, bowls, and cutlery. They were items peasants had to buy to live. They were also heavy and it made absolutely no sense to ship them from Russia since they were already made in adequate quantities by factories in that country. But they were not Rockefeller’s factories so a part of the markets’ share of money was not going to them. That was an anathema to John. D., Jr. He wanted to own everything and everyone, or kill them.
So, he wrote a letter to Stalin and told him how much and what kind of each item he wanted. It was a huge order, perhaps several Latin American countries worth. Rockefeller was going to dropped the prices of the goods to drive the Latin American factories out of business. Then he would buy them cheaply. Having a monopoly he would then raise the price of the goods to steal even more from the peasants. His journal shows that he intended to cause their children to starve, if at all possible. It was not an unintended consequence of his business practices. I saw instances in which he was willing to lose money to make others starve. It was really quite sad to read about the life of a man who was so desperately unhappy that this was what it took to distract him from that fact.
Little Russian Girl when asked: "What does your Daddy do that he moved you all here?" replied, "He's here to shoot and kill Americans"
Steve, my mother just called in tears describing her horror story and validation of foreign troops in Danville, VA. My family farms in NC not far from Danville, VA and their neighbor (Bob) works in Danville to be near his family and first born grandchild. Often Bob will watch his granddaughter who attends school in Danville and brings her and friends over to my parents' farm.
Yesterday Bob brought his 2nd grade granddaughter and her new girlfriend and mother to meet my parents. My mother welcomed them all as usual but noticed both had accents which made her that more inquisitive.
After a short tour of the farm, looking at some wild deer, they came into the house. Being cordial, mom passed out cookies and said: "I detect an accent, do you mind if I ask where you were from?"
The little girl said they just moved here from Russia.
My mother replied: "Oh, that's a long way to come to Virginia, what does your Daddy do that he moved you all here?"
And the girl replied: "He's here to shoot and kill Americans."
The little girl's mother instantly broke down crying, saying "It's true", grabbed the daughter and left.
I have friends who live in Danville, Virginia. I emailed them several days ago to ask if they were aware of anything like Russian troops in that area. Today I received this reply:
"A friend in Danville posted it, yet he's a greeter at Wal-Mart. I would think he'd know if the Russians were invading. And they'd have to be nuts to invade in this redneck gun-toting area."
So, as this is worded, it's not completely clear. Because he's a greeter at Wal-Mart, he'd know, but on the other hand his report was not gleaned from Wal-Mart customers telling him things.
There you have a little of the flavor of this area of the US. For what it's worth, I'd doubt this whole story, myself.
Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland and Ambassador Geoff Pyatt walk inside the protester's tent camp in Kiev, Ukraine, in December 2013.
When the Obama administration was plotting to overthrow the democratically-elected government of Ukraine, what in the world did they expect to happen in the aftermath? Did they just expect Russia to roll over and play dead as the U.S. and the EU installed a rabidly anti-Russian government in Kiev? Over the past few years, the U.S. government has chosen to foment violent political revolutions all over the globe. We have seen violent revolutions overthrow governments all across the Middle East and Africa, but when the U.S. government decided to do the same thing in Ukraine they went way too far. When you mess with Ukraine, and when you mess with Crimea in particular, you are crossing a huge red line as far as the Russians are concerned. By crossing that red line, the Obama administration has ensured that the relationship between the United States and Russia will never be friendly again.
If you have not listened to the conversation between Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and Ambassador to the Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt that was leaked a little over a month ago on YouTube, please click on the video posted below. As Robert Wenzel (http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2014/03/an-important-second-listen-to-f-k-eu.html) recently discussed, this video is solid proof that Obama administration officials were plotting who the new leaders of Ukraine would be several weeks before a violent revolution ousted President Viktor Yanukovych from power...
During the clip, Nuland and Pyatt discuss their desired outcome for the crisis in Ukraine. Now that 3 weeks have passed since the leak and events have developed, it is instructive to listen to the recording once again. (See below.) Keep in mind that this leak was made on February 2, which means the conversation occurred before that date. Viktor Yanukovych did not lose power over the Ukrainian government until more than three weeks later February 24th.
The recording reveals Nuland and Pyatt discussing whether Vitali Klitschko, sometimes referred to as "Klitsch" in the recording, should be named the deputy prime minister and seems to assume that Arseniy Yatseniuk, sometimes referred to in the recording as "Yats," will become prime minister. Since that conversation, Yatseniuk has, indeed, become prime minister. Anybody that tells you that the US is not running the "revolution" from behind the scenes is blowing smoke. Here is the video:
MSxaa-67yGM
Thanks to the meddling of the United States and the EU, the situation in Ukraine is now a giant mess. Russian troops have moved into Crimea to protect Russian interests, and Ukraine stands on the brink of civil war.
Sadly, when Barack Obama's national security team met on Saturday to discuss the crisis in Ukraine, Obama didn't even show up (http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-skips-national-security-team-meeting-russia-ukraine_783659.html).
Obama did speak with Vladimir Putin for 90 minutes (http://www.nytimes.com/2014/03/02/world/europe/ukraine.html?hp&_r=2) on Saturday, but that didn't solve anything of course.
And with each passing day, Obama's foreign policy is looking like an even bigger joke.
Even U.S. Senators are mocking him. Just check out what U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (http://cnsnews.com/news/article/susan-jones/sen-graham-when-obama-threatens-putin-everybodys-eyes-roll) had to say on the matter...
Every time the president goes on national television and threatens Putin or anyone like Putin, everybody's eyes roll, including mine. Conservative commentator Mark Levin was even harsher when he stated (http://beforeitsnews.com/war-and-conflict/2014/03/levin-on-obama-i-cant-think-of-anything-he-touches-that-doesnt-turn-to-crap-2450764.html) that he "can't think of anything he [Obama] touches that doesn't turn to crap!"
But of course Obama has been completely and totally clueless when it comes to Russia for a very long time.
During one of the presidential debates during the last election, Obama made the following statement (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/03/01/remember-obama-mocking-romney-over-russia-concerns-the-1980s-are-now-calling-to-ask-for-their-foreign-policy-back/) to Mitt Romney when Romney suggested that Russia is a serious threat...
The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because...the cold war's been over for 20 years. Who looks like the fool now?
And Obama especially looks foolish since his "democratic revolution" is starting to backfire dramatically. Just consider the following facts...
-It is estimated that approximately 675,000 Ukrainians (http://rt.com/news/ukrainians-leave-russia-border-452/) have fled into Russia during January and February. Why would they be going into Russia for protection if Russia is the "bad guy"?
-The head of Ukraine's navy has defected (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/ukraine/10669670/Ukraine-as-it-happened-Putin-says-threat-of-ultranationalists-forced-him-to-intervene.html) and is now working with the Russians.
-The flagship of the Ukrainian Navy (http://rt.com/news/ukraine-navy-flaghsip-protest-389/) has switched sides...
Ukraine's Navy flagship, the Hetman Sahaidachny frigate, has reportedly refused to follow orders from Kiev, and come over to Russia's side and is returning home after taking part in NATO operation in the Gulf of Aden flying the Russian naval flag.
There has been conflicting information on where exactly the vessel is, but a Russian senator has confirmed to Izvestia daily that the frigate defected to the Russian side. -A large number of high ranking Ukrainian military officials have switched sides (http://rt.com/news/military-commanders-sworn-allegiance-crimea-497/)...
A number of high ranking Ukrainian military and security officials in Crimea have sworn their allegiance to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, as Simferopol pushes for its autonomy from the self-imposed government in Kiev.
The head of the Security Service of Crimea Petyor Zima, Chief of Department of Internal Affairs in the Crimea Sergey Abisov, the head of Service for Emergency Situations Sergei Shakhov and acting Chief of the Border Guards of Crimea Victor Melnichenko all took an oath of allegiance to the people of Crimea. -It is being reported that many of the Ukrainian troops stationed in Crimea (http://voiceofrussia.com/news/2014_03_02/Ukraine-troops-in-Crimea-change-sides-to-back-pro-Russia-authorities-without-bloodshed-insider-1725/) have turned on the government in Kiev...
Crimea-stationed Ukrainian troops have switched sides to join forces with local pro-Russia authorities in the Russian-dominated autonomous republic of Crimea, a source in the region's administration has said.
The source has stressed the transition was peaceful and without a single shot being fired.
Some of the servicemen reportedly left their posts without prior warning, while others surrendered letters of resignation but the majority went over to the Crimean government. -The pro-Russian revolution that is sweeping Crimea is starting to spread to other regions (http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702303801304579412380376851854) as well...
In the economically important eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk, hundreds of pro-Russian protesters massed Saturday in the main square and took over a main government administration building, and raised the Russian flag, according to local residents and news outlets. It was unclear whether the protesters were local residents. The number of protesters was also unclear; Russian and Ukrainian media had wildly different estimates of crowd strength.
The Donetsk city council issued a statement demanding a referendum over whether the mining region with strong ties to Russia should remain part of Ukraine.
By nightfall, the area around the Donetsk main square was quiet. A reporter from Ukrainian national television said that the protesters remained inside the building, drinking tea and planning new pro-Russia protests for Monday. And this is probably what Russia is planning to do.
Instead of taking Ukraine militarily, they hope to enable a "new revolution" to swing things back their way. The following is an excerpt from an NBC News article (http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/ukraine-crisis/russias-medvedev-predicts-new-revolution-new-bloodshed-n42611)...
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Sunday that Ukraine's leaders had seized power illegally, and predicted their rule would end with "a new revolution [and] new bloodshed."
Medvedev said that, while Viktor Yanukovych had practically no authority, he remained the legitimate head of state according the constitution, adding: "If he is guilty before Ukraine - hold an impeachment procedure ... and try him."
"Everything else is lawlessness. The seizure of power," Medvedev said on his Facebook page. "And that means such order will be extremely unstable. It will end in a new revolution. New bloodshed." Of course large numbers of Russian troops will be on hand to make sure that this "counter-revolution" succeeds. Even as you read this, more Russian forces continue to pour into Crimea (http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/03/world/europe/ukraine-tensions/index.html?hpt=hp_t1)...
Meanwhile, in Crimea, Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Vladislav Seleznyov told CNN on Monday that up to 12 trucks full of Russian troops have crossed into the eastern Crimean city of Kerch from Russia.
Additionally, Ukrainian Border Service Assistant Chief Colonel Sergei Astakhov described Russian troop movements by ferry from Russia across the Strait of Kerch in a phone conversation. Astakhov said the first two ferries carrying armed men were navigating towards the ferry dock and border post in Kerch. As the ferries approached the port, 10 heavily armed troops from the Russian Black Sea Fleet attacked the border post from land and used force to overwhelm the Ukrainian border guards, Astakhov said. The upper house of Parliament in Moscow has given President Vladimir Putin the authority to use "the armed forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine until the normalization of the socio-political situation in that country (http://freebeacon.com/russian-upper-house-approves-use-of-troops-on-ukrainian-soil/)", and even U.S. officials are admitting that the Russian military has "complete operational control of the Crimean Peninsula" at this point.
And this may just be the beginning. Reportedly, during his 90 minute conversation with Obama on Saturday Putin hinted that Russian military intervention "could go beyond Crimea" (http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/patrick-goodenough/putin-hints-he-may-not-stop-crimea)...
During his 90-minute phone conversation with President Obama on Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin hinted that Russian military intervention in Ukraine could go beyond Crimea, the region now under effectively occupied by Russia.
That's according to the Kremlin's brief account of the phone call, initiated by Obama.
"Vladimir Putin stressed that in case of any further spread of violence to Eastern Ukraine and Crimea, Russia retains the right to protect its interests and the Russian-speaking population of those areas," it said. So what is going to happen next?
Nobody knows for sure.
But without a doubt, Obama's strategy of fomenting revolution in Ukraine is backfiring dramatically.
I actually disagree about it backfiring dramatically.....totally agree with watching the magicians other hand though ;)
I don't think it's backfired all that much, the west pretty much has Ukraine now, and shortly the IMF will have them too in their clutches and the Ukraine will sink into the abyss of never ending debt and ballooning interest payments every year. In a year or two Ukraine will become another Greece robbing the people to pay the IMF. The Ukraine will never be the same once they sign on the dotted line with the IMF.
They also made Putin look like a radical aggressive creep player on the worlds stage once again by letting him walk right in and invade/occupy Crimea and are now contemplating economic sanctions to harm Russia even more. They may allow Putin to keep Crimea out of pity but I doubt it....Turkey probably wants the Russian Ships out of Crimea as old wounds never really go away; ie "Catherine the Great" and the many Ottoman / Russian etc battles for that chunck of land.
They'll probably tax Russia some more for shipping oil/gas through Ukraine too for an added bonus!
Ukraine produces ALOT of food too.....yeap, I'd say the west scammed that parcel on Earth in about record time compared to some other recent business adventures.
Russia is clearly in the wrong by invading Crimea and taking it over like they did with thousands of troops This is an invasion but the fact that Putin did this just shows what a lunatic he is. Do we want to go to war with another crazy dictator? I say we just let them have Crimea and stay out of it like Ron Paul says. If we go to war with Russia, we'll all end up living in caves again. That's a no brainer. Let them have it even if it means a civil war in the Ukraine. That's their problem, not ours.
I think about the exact contrary.
Ukraine has had terrorists and provocateurs sent by the west (US, Europe, Israel) to destabilitse further the country while its people were throwing away their president. Why? To be able to put their hands on the numerous natural reserves Ukraine hand to control the road of Russian petroleum and gaz toward Europe.
Follow the money - you will see who is starting what.
Over and above, Crimea is actually moslty Russian in terms of who lives there and Crimea have THE MAIN military base of Russia. They cannot let their main base which gives the only direct access to the Meditarenean see go to the west, this is very clear and I would have done the exact same thing if I were Russia.
Third, there might be an ET component to it that we are not entirely aware of. The ET standstill may be over for whom will control the planet. And it is certainly not the Dracos controlling the West that are healty for the human race. If it is the case, those are speculation until proven.
I can mostly probably say with confidence that those in Asia, who know their history, know exactly what the West is doing - no vietnamese, chinese or cambodgian is duped. So, seen from here, Putin is a nazi, seen from there, Europe and USA are the greedy endless oligarch.
Yes, certainly not Russian that put it on fire.
I Wonder what American would say if this was happening on their land? Anyhow, if Russian or Israeli were doing that in America or Canada, I would be the first one to scream and to want them out. Imagine what the people there think.
I wish Nichola was still a member.
Oil refineries are critical, and definitely a major target to go after, in the prelude to or to prevent response in the event of a real or proposed ground war.
In the coming days/weeks, keep your eyes and ears open for news regarding the International Space Station.
Two cosmonauts (one of them from Crimea) and an American astronaut are scheduled to touch down on Russian soil on March 10.
Right now, Charlie Bolden (NASA Chief) says they've been through multiple international crises before and there is no problem now.
But one American and two cosmonauts are scheduled to head back to the ISS in a few weeks aboard a Soyuz spacecraft.
Just want to say for now, be aware.
Also just received this from breaking news feed:
The European Union will consider sanctions against Russia if there is no deescalation in the Ukraine crisis, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said today.
Russian lawmakers are working on a draft law to allow the confiscation of assets belonging to European or U.S. companies if sanctions are imposed, Russian state news agency RIA Novosti said.
Meanwhile, the Bush and Rockefeller families are planning to murder 1200 bankers over the coming days in order to hide evidence against them, according to Neil Keenan.
I think they are already up to six or eight. Long ways to go to get to 1200 if they're just going to use nail guns, so maybe the collapse, or the war, or whatever is going on might take a little longer.:noidea:
Sure do Paul. But they pretty much have the US over a barrel, on several levels and they know it, so why not!
