"Atlanticobr Captain Bill
Friends, we have a contact codename Moose Creek that has sent us extra official reports for some time, and warning regarding Yellowstone. According to him the whole region suffered a high of 11 inches in the last two weeks and this is not being disclosed, on the contrary, has been "deleted" of the records. Be aware, especially those who reside within 500 miles of the epicenter of this region.
Cheers!"
For what it is worth I pass it on.

Thanks for the update. I have been following this and it is bound "some time" to happen but when?
The ground deformation occurring in north-central Yellowstone, which we reported in an Information Statement on February 18, 2014, continues. In March, YVO plans to deploy several additional GPS instruments to learn more about this scientifically interesting deformation episode. Caldera subsidence, which began in 2010, appears to be slowing. All the deformation currently occurring in Yellowstone remains well within historical norms.
During February 2014, the University of Utah reports 245 earthquakes were located in the Yellowstone National Park region. February seismicity in Yellowstone was marked by an ongoing cluster of 153 earthquakes, located about 5 miles WNW of Norris Geyser Basin, YNP, that persisted throughout the month. The cluster included the largest event of the month, which was a minor earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on February 11, 2014 at 4:03 PM MST.
Although seismicity over Yellowstone as a whole is only slightly above normal, seismicity levels in the deforming region in the north-central part of the Park have increased since the deformation began. This correlation is neither worrisome nor surprising since ground deformation and small earthquakes often occur together.
Please see: http://volcanoes.usgs.gov/observatories/yvo/YVO_GPS.jpg for a map of GPS stations in Yellowstone. For a graph of daily GPS positions at NRWY, a station about 1.5 miles SE of Norris Geyser Basin, please see: http://pbo.unavco.org/station/overview/NRWY. For GPS positions at WLWY, near White Lake in the northeastern part of Yellowstone caldera, please see: http://pbo.unavco.org/station/overview/WLWY. http://volcanoes.usgs.gov/about/volcanoes/yellowstone.php
“We’re not exactly sure how it [will go down]. No one’s ever seen one,” Farrell admitted. “But it will likely start with a series of smaller events, ramping up slowly to a major eruption. It may take weeks, months; we aren’t exactly sure. We expect lots of swarms and a huge change in hydrothermal system with major ground deformation.”
Swarms in the three range on the Richter scale would give way to legitimate tremblors in the five or six range, according to Lowenstern. It would be a clear indication the crust protecting us from the molten lava that causes Yellowstone to steam away all winter was starting to crack open.
“There would be a lot of big earthquakes and people would feel them,” Lowenstern said, describing the end times. “Magma is not going to come out of the ground without earth breaking. We would be looking for ground deformation on the scale of feet. Hot stuff would start intersecting with the park’s hydrothermal system and that would cause explosions. Prior to the last eruption there were lots of lava flows that came out of the ground. So we could possibly see many small ones before a big one.” http://planetjh.com/2014/02/11/feature-story-shes-gonna-blow/

Curious to know, but someone once told me that the Yellowstone caldera is actually a super volcano that is larger than Krakatoa and takes up about 4 states in the USA? Has anyone else heard this, or know for sure?

Yes it is a supervolcano. Here is a map of the current caldera, older caldera and also the boundaries of prior eruptions' lava flows. The current caldera is within the boundary of the Yellowstone park.
It just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling all over.

Here is some info regarding the underlying beast, the magma chamber
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2013/12/131218-yellowstone-supervolcano-eruption-magma-reservoir/
The team's map revealed that Yellowstone's magma reservoir is not arranged vertically, as once thought, but rather it is tilted in a northwest to southeast direction. It's also much bigger than previously thought, measuring about 55 miles by 20 miles (90 by 30 kilometers) on each side and about 6 miles (10 kilometers) deep.
The new size estimate means the current magma reservoir is roughly equal to what it was when the supervolcano last erupted, about 640,000 years ago.
"What we're seeing now agrees with the geologic data that we have about past eruptions," Farrell said. "And that means there's the potential for the same type of eruption that we've seen in the past."

Just seen the USGS Yellowstone "ordered to suppress" (http://www.davidicke.com/headlines/unnamed-source-usgs-suppressing-supervolcano-activity-at-yellowstone-under-white-house-orders/)video.
Maybe they have been told to keep quite so as not to upset the public, but I don't have much faith in stories that come from just one anonymous source.
Anyway, assuming the USGS is suppressing data, don't forget there are hundreds if not thousands of well-equipped amateur seismologists monitoring this. They have newsgroups and websites and would be happy to reveal "something is going on".
The power of independent amateurs is frequently overlooked. For example, when NASA is accused of suppressing data about Planet X entering the solar system, or Comet Ison not following its predicted orbit, there are amateur astronomers who would spot this with their telescopes! Or when HAARP is accused of doing stuff, amateur radio enthusiasts measuring ELF, VLF and the magnetospheric/ionospheric activity would pick this up.
It's not just "Us" against "Them"; "We" have armies of unaligned, independent amateur observers all over the globe who are not on anyone's payroll. They measure, study and record all aspects of the Earth and space. They are doing it for fun, to learn and at no cost to the public. Their competence and power shouldn't be dismissed or overlooked.

Perhaps this is the reason for the FEMA zones. I'm in zone 3. It may not have been for the comets or asteroid areas, but for the 'supervolcano's eruptions?'
Thanks for the gumball to chew on.
