Heres my intro (well re intro) to here.

My name is Jessica A. Still live with my parents, Metro New York, on the New Jersey Side of it USA. Have an fraternal twin sister as well. Born with a Neurologically based speech impairment/apraxia-dysarthria. Suffering from depression/anxiety for awhile now. Yet to reach this stage of life and etc. I'm an student of life and clerical volunteer.

This is both of an question and rant from me.

Know that I'm not the only one whom has experience this before. Mean it can be off/online.

Mean before foundin and/or comin here?

Is it me that we are treated as we are still babies/kids??? Is it me that there are owner/s, admin/s, mod/s whom have no clue on how to run forum???

Its hard even though they all know and we have talked about it. Mostly there are other factors which I can't think of at moment. Somehow I never could avoid this when lookin for new forums for myself. Hope being here is goin to stop this.

Hi Jessica,

No matter what you have encountered in other places you have visited, I can assure you that here your thoughts and opinions will be treated fairly. All that is asked is that you do the same for others who write their thoughts here.

That is very courageous for you to share those personal details. I commend your openness and bravery. If everyone were so open, the world would be a much better place.

Do you think your personal challenges have helped you to see the world through a unique point of view? I am reminded of a parable.

There were two clay pots. They were carried daily from the river (where they were filled with water) up a path.....and on to the city well. These Pots spoke to eachother often and compared their performance as water carrying vessels. One Pot spoke to the other:

I am the perfect Pot. I never spill a drop. My water is brought to the city well and I assuage the thirst of the citizens of town.

The other pot replied:

I am a broken pot, I spill water out of my side all the way up the path to the city. By the time we get to town, there is very little water at all inside of me.

but the first pot replied: But look to the side of the path!!

The broken pot looked, and all along the side of the path there were nothing but beautiful flowers where the broken pot had spilled water for so long!

The universe has reasons for all things, though we can't always perceive them at first glance.

Is it me that we are treated as we are still babies/kids??? Is it me that there are owner/s, admin/s, mod/s whom have no clue on how to run forum???

On behalf of the Avalon mods, I assure you, we are clueless :P

Hello Jessica,
I am also new here, but I found this is a very good family here and there is never no bashing of any kind.
I feel very comfortable expressing my opinions and thoughts here.
I wish you the best. And Hiram I enjoyed very much what you wrote :)
kind Regards
Mike

Hello Jessica

Along with the previous answers I would also like to welcome you to the Project Avalon Forum – you should be amongst good company for we are all students of life. You will find that both questions and rants are a regular feature here so you will fit-in just nicely.

Mean it can be off/online.

Not really sure what you mean to say above but we are all here to help you. With respect to your views as to how to run a forum, I cannot answer that because I am just a regular member but if you have any questions I have always found the MOD’s most helpful in the past.

I am sure that you will meet some very kind-hearted people here who are happy to share your thoughts and reservations, so once again welcome to the forum and enjoy.

Love and peace to you. JP
