View Full Version : Study That Proves Mind Can Control/Change Matter

Hello everyone,
I've been a long-time reader of your forums, and joined Avalon right before the move started, and probably had like 20 posts max in the old forum. I've since asked for the re-invite in order to continue my quest for knowledge and to seek the truth. To initiate my membership here on the new forum, I'd like to post a very important question that I will provide in detail below.
On November 10, 2009 I was stumbling the internet (a feature that I personally believe EVERYONE should be using. Go to www.stumbleupon.com to see what I mean) and found a 40+ minute youtube video that contained an interview with a college professor who was explaining his recent research involving a device that he and his team developed that would essentially provide a live read out of data of the matter contained within the device. He then would ask trained monks to concentrate all of their thoughts on changing the matter within the device. During the experiment the device provided off the chart data which proved that our thoughts CAN PHYSICALLY EFFECT MATTER. The professor later went on to mention that he had put a patent on this device and used the following phrase "People go to the gym to improve their physical bodies, and with this device that we're working on, people could use this to physically improve their minds."
Blown away by this video, I saved it to my favorites in the hopes I could come back and read it again someday to check up on the progress of the research. Several months went by and when I went back to watch the video again to remember the guys name, the link had been removed from youtube. I thought "Ok, no problem. I'll just search for it on google." NOTHING. I've found absolutely NOTHING about this study. The only thing I can go off of is the image that stumbleupon saved in my favorites, which thankfully is a picture of the scientist/professor responsible for the study. http://www.sendspace.com/file/z0zkii

Could TPTB be responsible for removing this from the internet to purposely keep us unaware of this HUGE finding? Or was this video and all of it's content removed from the internet because of a validity issue? If anyone is aware of who this person is and where I can find information about his research, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks for listening. Hope we find something!

I need no convincing of such, it is an extremely powerful ability we all have and certainly not what 'they' want in the public domain.

Exactly right! We're all quite capable of doing many amazing things, and those in power are very much aware of this. If we all were able to fulfill our potentials, even a tenth of a percent more so than now, it would certainly make us more difficult to "manage."

Read Lynee McTaggard's "The Intention Experiment" and Dr. Bruce Lipton's books. Bruce Lipton's website has lots of good information from his books. Lipton's stuff is mind boggling and TRUE!
Yes, we create our lives anew every single moment. Co-creators with the Field, Zero Point, Ether, God, Sea of Awareness, Infininte Potentials, whatever you want to call it. The engine that drives the creation is our emotions. Feel it and create it. King Solomon said, "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life" Today, the HeartMath Institute proves this is true. The heart has the largest magnetic field of any part of the body, measured up to 12 feet from the physical body. :o

I will definitely check out Bruce Lipton, but I REALLY need to figure out who this man is. I attached the picture in my original post. I also contemplated the video a lot more last night after posting, and I want to say he was a professor at Stanford? Hope this piece of information helps the cause.

No, that isn't the man I'm looking for. The interview I watched was far more modern--literally done in 2009. It was all about his CURRENT research that was being conducted and the patent that he has on the device.

Could you be talking about Doc Peterson? How old was the man in the video and could you describe his physical aspects?
Reading your original post, it seems that no, you are not.
As for this effect, Hal Puthoff noted it when he had Ingo Swann scan his random number generator that was buried in the subfloor of the basement of the university he met Ingo in. The Random # generator (RNG) went non-linear in it's expected output for the time period that Ingo was scanning the device, which thoroughly convinced Hal that something was indeed happening and Ingo was indeed affecting the matter or RNG during the 'scan' period.
I'm thinking that the very next and soon to be toy for improving one's mind is going to be software and feedback systems tied to this: http://www.ted.com/talks/tan_le_a_headset_that_reads_your_brainwaves.html
Buy the hardware:

OK definitely not Doc Peterson. But your link for the given photo is very bad news, with regard to attempted computer infection. The site that is hosting the photo is not a good one, and it seems to insist that the person downloading the image open it with adobe photoshop, which is a real serious red flag for back door 'program fault' infection of a computer.
Do not open this photo with adobe.
Choose another, more stable, better protected platform.

Thanks, Carmody, for letting me know that the website I used was not a good one. What's interesting is I use sendspace all the time, and I even tested the download link myself after I posted it in this thread, and everything worked out ok. Could you, or anyone else suggest another website or means of posting this picture so that the community can possibly tell me who this man is? Thank you so much.

you can try to right click on the picture and SAVE AS a photo on your computer, then upload pic to Avalon in your message post.
-or-
there is a free download of office suite programs that can handle MS programs as well as convert to PDF's : http://www.openoffice.org/
after you have downloaded and installed The Open Office Suite on your computer, open the DRAW program, then find the picture on the internet that you want to COPY (right-click and copy img); PASTE it into a DRAW slide-frame; and while in DRAW- "save as" a PDF, then upload that PDF from your saved file on your computer to the Avalon message.
hope this is not to confusing...

Xbusymom-- I have programs that can save this picture (which I've had on my computer since I first initially posted this thread) as a PDF, but the issue I'm having is when I click the "insert image" button while replying to this thread, a prompt comes up asking for the image's URL. How do I get around this? I'm using a mac so maybe it's a lot more simple then we think--beneath this line I just dragged and dropped the picture. Let me know if you can see this. Otherwise I would really like to know how to post jpegs and pdfs on this forum.

Salv8tion, you have to click on Go Advanced, then click on Attachments (paper clip icon), then click button Add Files-->Choose File(s) and look for the files on your computer to select them.
Hope this helps...

Thanks truthseekerdan, but unfortunately I'm not allowed to post attachments =(. It says "You may not post attachments" under my abilities. Why is this? Do I have to speak to someone to gain this ability? This would REALLY speed up the process of figuring out who this man is.

Well my friend, looks like you have to be a 'senior member' to have 'attachments privileges'.
You might want to contact an admin to give you access... Sorry can't help you with that.

I cant see them cuz I don't have remote access to your computer...
hmmm, that is the problem I had with Avalon's uploader also, it was confusing which tab was for website URL and which was for uploading from your computer... and I fortunately had a website on a host server that I could upload picture files to, and then link up with the pic on my site... but I still haven't figured out how to do a URL from my PC

Does anyone recognize this man? I had a flash of memory recently and the person who was interviewing him sounded EXACTLY like Peter Coyote...to the point where it may have been him. If anyone can help me out with this I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I haven't read all these threads but will- but was intrigued by the kilroy saga.
At first glance, he sort of looks like Thomas Campbell....

If one looks up Tan Le's headset at the TED site, then looks up work of Michael Persinger both exciting and sinister possibilities take shape.

I know someone who took Persinger's classes and tried the God helmet as part of Persinger's experiments (into the god aspect). Andrew said that the helmet was quite invigorating and the euphoria lasted about 7 days before wearing off all the way.
Equally bizarre, he said... was the US air force, Military, Mossad, CIA, CSIS, Boeing, Lockheed, etc type personnel that had paid to audit Persinger's classes, and sat at the back of the room.

This looks like William Tiller.
He is a quantum physicist who appeared on what the bleep do we know? (among other things, of course!)
In that interview he says his research is about our ability to control matter with our minds.

Used to know some CIA people back in the 70s (no, I'm innocent!) - they were fascinated by brainwave stuff. One of them Andrija Puharich was deep into it. And things have come quite a way since then.
