Did not know this had been posted already
Article I found it in was from a Canadian news link posted here

Or, to put it accurately, an oil rig worker believes he saw the plane go down. Whether he did or not is open to challenge.
Please, whoever is in charge of this posting's title, change it to reflect reality. The last thing this forum needs is melodramatic, misleading puffery. We're not part of the MSM, after all.
So no, the sky is NOT falling, Chicken Little. Airliners, maybe. But let's not make put words into other people's mouths, okay?
Thanks.

All I did was quoted it just like I found it,no alteration by me.
Thanks

Yeah, I know.
I was asking for a moderator to make the change. Soon, I hope.
Can you please edit it, then?

Fellow Aspirant, I see nothing wrong with this post, except that it might have included just how monkeyofstick came across the Gmail document. What is there to edit? The document is a real email from a real oil rig worker or it is a fabrication. And assuming it is a real document, the oil rig worker only reports he saw a flaming object at about the time the flight was lost, and he supposes that it might have been the plane. Most posts on Avalon contain third party documents or links to such and it is generally understood that the poster is not warranting a particular document's validity or authenticity- He is posting it because he finds it interesting or important. And it is to be hoped that in time and with further investigation one may perhaps prove it one way or another.
On the other hand if the document or whatever is a fabrication and the poster is aware that it is then we have a serious problem that the Forum needs to take care of.

OK now I am really curious just what is going on here. I went to http://vipmedia.globalnews.ca and I could find no reference to this document in the article on the downed plane. I added the /2014/03/ and got nothing but a Wordpress error. Then I Googled the whole address and got this
No debris at spot shown on China images - DCA ... - Yahoo Groups

Yes, I think this needs some explaining.

I posted this info 2 days ago here:
Oil Rig Worker: 'I Saw the Malaysia Airlines Plane Come Down' (http://mashable.com/2014/03/12/malaysia-airlines-370-search-area/)
In a email sent to his employer, which was acquired, confirmed, and then shared by the ABC journalist Bob Woodruff, the man says, "I believe I saw the Malaysian Airlines plane come down. The timing is right."
He describes seeing what he believes to be the plane burning — in one piece — at high altitude, flying perpendicular to the standard plane routes that cross over the area.
"From when I first saw the burning (plane) until the flames went out (still at high altitude) was 10-15 seconds. There was no lateral movement, so it was either coming toward our location, stationary, or going away from our location,"

I believe the worker is not real.

@buares
"I believe the worker is not real"- you and me both-
the only explanation so far on Flight 370 that makes any sense to me whatsoever is here:

You mean to tell me a oil rig grunt saw a plane burning in the sky, had the wherewithal to make observations, calculations, and take notes while standing on deck of an oil rig? That's a quick, easy judgement call there!! Bunk!

There's already a thread for this, we don't need a new thread for every update - http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?69217-Boeing-disappears-in-flight-with-239-passengers

I don't believe the worker is real either. I think it's cya time for the military, until they can try and find it. All their military are "stumped?" Ha, good for 'em. They've had us stumped for the last 40 years or more for our parents/fathers, about time they started scratching their spotted balding heads.

My objection, if you read it carefully, is not about the post, which is a worthy one. No, my objection was to the title of the post. Scanning the titles in the forum is how I decide what I'm going to open for further information and as such, I depend upon them to be accurate.
In this instance, I already knew that a worker on an oil rig had reported that ...
" he saw a flaming object at about the time the flight was lost, and he supposes that it might have been the plane." I had read his email already at another source.
However, to subsequently read that the oil rig worker "had seen" the aircraft in flames led me to think that the info inside was an update of some sort, that the oil rig worker had offered new evidence or had changed his recollection somewhat. This turned out not to be the case. I therefore asked that someone (apparently, monkeyofstick himself tended to it - thanks monkeyofstick!) edit the title so that it was no longer misleading.
I hope this clears up my intent. Gotta be careful with our statements around here - there are, as we know, too many people ready to skew our realities for us, without mistakenly doing it ourselves.
Cheerfully vigilant,
Brian

Wow, monkeyofstick, I did not see the second link -- the main link -- yesterday, just the first link which contains the jpeg image. Sorry for all the fuss, but it was really unclear how you had gotten this info. Anyway, welcome to the Avalon Forum!
PS Strange, nothing yet in the mainstream media. Hmm, unless report is bogus. Yet Vietnamese radar spots something like a crashing plane in this general area. See:

The whole thing is shrouded in misdirection and propaganda , it the mainstream is on it , it's exactly what they want the public to think and talk about , meaning eyes off everything else going on , like Russia and China teaming up against America over Ukraine ...
