Lats few days I wasn't able to access to PA, I thought there was a web down problem. I did try with another device and connected.
Now I found this warning with my PC connection.

Is somebody trying to scare off visitors to come PA pages?

Is there any mirror sides which mimic(Impersonate) the original page?

Im getting exactly the same with my Yahoo uk mail for several days now.

It comes up after I type the pass word and press enter.
However if I go then to book marks my @ is accessible.

Two days ago I had problems with my friend accessing Avalon from Finland... We had to use a proxy (http://www.viaproxy.info/). Before that I was wondering about that weird message which said that Avalon isn't a safe site.

Several times during the last week or so a phishing ahead warning has come up whilst I am on PA site? It only happens when I am on PA site. Not an expert on these things so not sure what the implications are...

Yeah, I got the same warning last week. Very strange, have never received such a warning. Rather than ignoring I chickened out by closing my browser and restarting and reconnecting to PA. This curious warning did nor recur, has not recurred.

Tor Browser works great... cnet.com has the bundle download and the proxy is a must

Well, Foxfire uses Deltasearch, and that is dod. I stopped using it when I tried to update and they changed my AVG search bar, tried to throw in "goggles" and when I uninstalled it, lost a lot of what delta attached to while in there. I now have uninstalled the foxfire delta search tool bar, and use AVG search bar on the very top, not the one saying powered by goggles. I had problems with PA yesterday also, and had to run a whole pc scan 4 times yesterday, and it seemed like someone was moving my cursor. I used AVG to scan the page and it brought out 3 nasties. Someone here is putting up links, and the site is being contaminated by "snoops inc." Be careful, even if you have to close PA after you click on the link, to keep that bug, from connecting to the sender site. They are some sneaky mofo's but I don't let it bother me. Eventually, we'll put this toy down and interact when the time comes and power is off.
Who knows, perhaps we'll be able to power them ourselves. LOL.

I think that page is related to using https (encryption) which uses a non-matching certificate ...

Ilie Pandia is working (experimental) on this stuff I think.

If you can make sure that the url is indeed from Avalon you could accept the certificate and create
an exception ... then this error page will be history.

I do believe this is the correct answer ... admins will correct me shortly if wrong.

There is a an application for personal security called peerblock, that also blocks this site.

I don't know ;).

But here's a post I made about four months ago, on a similar report: Attacks on the Alternative Community, and how they might be operating -- Post #122 (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?65053-Attacks-on-the-Alternative-Community-and-how-they-might-be-operating&p=761302&viewfull=1#post761302).

The key line from that post, which might apply here as well:
In my view, the security services are going a bit overboard when they warn of pages on forum A, that link to some forum B, which has links that go somewhere dangerous. Half the alternative media could be blacklisted that way :).

Yes, he is (or was) working on https support for this forum. But due to limitations of the vBulletin software that we use, this work is on hold (so far as I know.)

This is indeed a simple and harmless security certificate issue. It is out of date for some reason, the web admin will have to update it or something.. Your browser is warning you that is not a trusted site according to its database.

Anyway, as long as you can confirm the address mentionned in the first part of the warning "you have asked to connect securely to projectavalon.net" I'm confident in saying that you can select "I understand the risks" and you will be redirected to the forum.

It is usual practice for the security services, no doubt some one some where on this forum has hit on a nerve, or the truth as it is commonly known.

Impacted me as well a couple of weeks ago.
Had updated Microsoft XP (yeh, I know - but I did it anyway) before they pulled the plug on providing support, sometime in April 2014. Wanted to be sure my XP was maxed in corruptibility to provide an engaging user experience by it's third party interference. Just didn't want to miss anything:-)

Anyways, no sooner had it finally finished re hacking my computer and it appeared stable, I went back to surfing and BAM, up came the warnings as others had experienced here.

This is going to become much worse as Israeli prime minister Netanahyu has recently announced it is about time Israel tightens security over the internet. I would imagine sort of "gaza friendly" to the future of browsing.

Unfortunately, there was not enough information in your report to us to enable us to be of any use. For example, we don't know what you meant by "they copy my pc" (or was it that they tried to copy it, but got nothing?)
