[ Mod-edit: the above Alex Jones video is from Mar 18, 2012 (back when the RT channel was suspended the first time, for eight hours, on Youtube.) So Azt and I have changed this thread's title to indicate that it just applies to the RT (RussiaToday) Youtube channel this time around. -- Paul. ]

You're right. RT is not working on YT.
That is a worrisome evolution.

This seems true.
Here is a screen shot that I just took, attempting to view the rt.com channel on Youtube:

You can see the above for yourself, by going to: http://www.youtube.com/user/RussiaToday
And here's another relevant image I just happened to find:

Yes it is true and it might be only the beginning, hope PA has a plan B in place to avoid going down as well. Peace!

I think I'm going to look for some alternative solutions to GGL & YT now.
I already closed my GGL account recently which was probably for the best. They're not the only ones that know how to close down things.

If you have problems accessing Avalon, go to http://projectavalonstatus.net/ (in my signature). I maintain that site myself. It is entirely separate from projectavalon.net. I display there significant changes in Avalon status. Updates might take a few hours; I'm an old man and more so than in my youth, I enjoy my beauty sleep (hmm ... the more I sleep ... the uglier I get ... something's not working here.)
Anyhow - go to http://projectavalonstatus.net/ in case you can't access this forum.

Hi Paul,
What I mean with the below, is if Project Avalon has some backup plan if those "free of speech killers" come to the door ...
hope PA has a plan B in place to avoid going down as well. Peace!
anyway, RT according to a tweet right now said the following:
YouTube account 'suspended' most likely due to glitch, on exactly same day as same thing happened 2 yrs ago http://on.rt.com/9kl50n

This is bad, very very bad. Ugly feeling in my stomach that we are indeed looking for war, that the end game is approaching. The mainline media along with US gov't rattle on about not recognizing vote in Crimea to secede from Ukraine as if Ukraine had a legitimate government that was not making threats against ethnic Russians (and Jews and others)! It is absolutely unbelievable what the US is up to! War in Iraq and Syria is one thing, but messing around with Ukraine is another. And the American people (most of whom do not read a real newspaper) are fooled it seems as the recent poll respecting Russia shows.

What we would do would depend on what they do, and what we are able to do.

Hi - I have added the qualifier "(RussiaToday Youtube channel suspended)" to this thread's title, and added an explanation to the first post of this thread as a "Mod-Edit".

Got this from RT as an update http://rt.com/news/rt-youtube-suspended-glitch-534/
It happened before exactly 2 years ago and maybe is a technical issue on the Youtube side.
Here's the text of that RT update:
RT’s YouTube channel, which in June last year reached 1 billion views to become the most-watched YouTube news channel in the world, experienced a shutdown of services on Tuesday, exactly two years after a similar incident.
Viewers attempting to access the RT YT channel were denied access and told: “This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's policy against spam, gaming, misleading content, or other Terms of Service violations.”
A similar incident exactly two years ago kept the YouTube channel offline for about eight hours. YouTube confirmed then it was their mistake and apologized for the incident.
Head of Social Media at RT Ivor Crotty added ‘As a world leading news producer on YouTube we value timely information and regret the service fail to the half-million people logging on this morning. We look forward to clearing this up ASAP.’
RT began broadcasting in 2005 – the same year YouTube came online – disrupting broadcast news media consensus and creating a savvy online viewer community.

Ok - good.
The forum software only allowed you to change the post title of the opening post.
I will now apply your change to the entire thread, changing the title from:

to

Here's RT's report on this (http://on.rt.com/6pxt0e) :
~~~~~~~~~~~
RT’s YouTube channel, which in June last year became the first-ever TV news channel to reach 1 billion views, experienced a temporary shutdown of services on Tuesday, exactly two years after a similar incident.
Viewers attempting to access the RT YT channel were denied access and told: “This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's policy against spam, gaming, misleading content, or other Terms of Service violations.” The services were suspended from around 0700 GMT until shortly before 1000 GMT.
A similar incident (http://rt.com/news/blackout-rt-youtube-suspended-847/) exactly two years ago kept the YouTube channel offline for about eight hours. YouTube confirmed then it was their mistake and apologized for the incident.
Head of Social Media at RT Ivor Crotty added ‘As a world leading news producer on YouTube we value timely information and regret the service fail to the half-million people logging on this morning. We look forward to clearing this up ASAP.’
Nah - we leave most threads open forever. Should someone want to post here again in the future, that's fine.
We usually only close threads because they are causing some sort of disruption or distraction or such if still open.
