The Nature That I Know:

Nature is so whole that it is unaware of it's own existence.
There is nothing to compare (extrapolate......)

It cannot behold its own beauty. A hypothetical attempt to do so would only brings something else.
Being a part of nature affords the same result. You'd think that implies a split personality but that would be
an example of the something else talking. You know what can happen when you trust something/ someone else don't you? (that last sentence just for fun :) )

That is an excellent analogy, Rachael. I wonder if that is a reason why some people keep journals. Of course a journal is a two edged sword because if the journal is sufficiently detailed there might be things having been worth slipping away unnoticed.... if in retrospect. (another 'fun' thought)

You could apply this to the true self (for lack of a better term) in so as what if the true self slipped away unnoticed and what many see is the false self. What is spiritual yearning is a symptom of an extra sensory perception detecting that which slipped away?

I didn't keep a journal but if I want to remember/remind myself of my true nature or if I want to centre myself, sometimes I recall whatever my mind associates with from my childhood (with the focus being on me), to recall how I was as a child. It's highly effective, so journaling would help a lot in that respect. Regarding details that are worth slipping away, let's put it this way, I think it's excellent that I didn't keep a journal.

It fits nicely with what you wrote on spiritual yearning. What are some of the things we experience? Not feeling whole. Feeling lost. Feeling like we're missing something. Self doubt. A yearning for something meaningful. Suffering. Makes sense.

Have you ever observed someones growth and you saw you in them at a particular point? Then surmising that there is a future you observing you and seeing the same thing. All of which is done in a loving-judgemental way. Judgemental in so as the distinction between growth phases, not as an "I am always better then you thou" way. Just seeing the magic/ miracle/ lightening strike of it all gives one an inner-glow-deep-smile, as best that I can describe it.

I had a good moment. :)

Bless you Bluegreen for the post. It reminds me of a movie I took my children to see when it was first released some time ago. I noticed how the male/female "roles" were reversed, looking after the precious egg, hunting and supplying food. At that time it was hard for me to believe that the male and female were apart for so very long. I really enjoyed seeing the fathers' instincts for caring and nurturing. From that moment, I have always felt a kinship with these special critters.

Awesome, her voice and their energy is lovely. I spent hours looking up early 80s songs the other night and had forgotten most of them. I had a great time, it takes me back to when I was little, in my Grandma's kitchen, who always had the radio on.

Some of the comments I saw are hilarious, one was, "what's vinyl? Some 70s drug?" with a reply "totally..." LOL.

Yes,but I didn't know that the voice belong to "Chicago",but I remember that voice.During the communist regime,foreign music was smuggled and came on tape cassettes (what are tape cassettes? :) ) without a written playlist.My luck was that in the same time Bravo magazine came also smuggled and there I found some play charts with bands and artists from where I learned which artist/band play a particular song.

On the other hand Alison Moyet have a very powerful voice and was combined perfectly in synthpop at that time and beside that there were fine artists during that time.

Eventually get into contest with enemies. And after you’ve done that for some time, you’d think up a new wrinkle. To forget that you were dreaming, so you’d think it was all for real, and to be anxious about it. And then you’d say, well, like children who dare each other on things, how far out could you get? What could you take? What dimension of being lost, of abandonment of your power, what dimension of that could you stand? You could ask yourself this ‘cos you know you’d eventually wake up.

And after you’re gone on doing this, you see, for some time, you’d suddenly find yourself sitting around in this room, with all your personal involvements, problems, etc, talking with me. How do you know that’s not what you’re doing? Could be, because after all, what would you do if you were God? If you were, what there is, the self, and Upanishads – The basic text of Hinduism, one of them starts out saying in the beginning was the self, and looking around it said, I am. And thus it is that everyone to this day, when asked who is there, says that it is I.

If you were God, and in this sense that you knew everything, you would be bored. Because, if looking at it from another way, we push technology to its furthest possible development, and we had instead of a dial telephone on one’s desk, a more complicated system of buttons, and one touch would give you anything you wanted, Aladdin’s lamp, you would eventually have to add a button labelled surprise, because all perfectly know futures are past. Plans? Oh that is all in my head and even though it seemed to have happen, it never really did (or did it?). ;)

Do you ever sit quietly in a room and reflect on certain memories and wonder, was that all just a dream or did it REALLY happen? Let's call it the DOROTHY MOMENT.

You know, that moment at the end of Wizard of OZ when Dorothy struggles in determining if Oz was 'real' or just a dream?

If it was a dream so vivid, what is to say that what she woke up to wasn't a dream as well? And if it was real then that means there is more then one reality. Crossing realities, if that was the case, would be fun but also potentially scary. What if the realities were really different from each other? Could there be cross contamination where one begins to confuse the two realities and get in trouble in one or both of them as a result? It's like, "why isn't this reality in that reality?" and proceed to find out only to get in trouble in the process. These type of experiences would be viewed by some as a person 'ahead of their times'. Hmmmmmmm Time/ space travel anyone? A dream of time/ space travel in the present between worlds/ realities?

Oh my, I just took a moment to internalize the words I just wrote....

The moment cannot be fully described, at least by this writer. Ironically one of the best attempts in memory regarding these moments is shown the video clip in the prior post. Post others if the reader of this post is so inclined.
