Well, as a former RTS (real time strategy ) gamer I fully understand the “Lebensraum” – vital space-concept.
Doesn’t matter what game it is …chess, Dune, Red Alert , Starcraft…the point is , as a player you feel threatened when losing influence in regions that hold strategic importance.
Hitler’s Lebensraum was not that far fetched considering the corner Germany was pushed in after WW1. And while I don’t support war or geopolitical games, I do understand the reasons behind Putin’s moves.
Problem is …whoever wins this game or economic war or 3rd world war…will win on behalf of the shadow dudes that run the world.
While Putin is sincere in defending Russia and his set of values ; he doesn’t seem to understand the fact that if Russia/China somehow win this game the corruption of society and of those in power the systemic corruption of this reality will bring on the New world order, and the dark night of humanity.
I don’t know if Putin understands that they are freerolling this war , it doesn’t matter who wins as long as there is ONE side left .Russia and China are already corrupted and there is really no problem to establish the new world order from Moscow/Beijing .
So now what is Putin supposed to do? Can’t back down and hand everything and everyone to the west! And he also probably knows a world war is not the best thing for Russia .
What can a former KGB agent do? Will he go for the third option? The hidden door? The big prize?
