As you would guess it is just more side-stepping propaganda speak replete with "fear the terrorists", but they felt the need to do some damage control after Snowden's Ted interview.

lies and extrapolations
yes he did have alternative ways he could've gone
characterizing him as a whistle-blower actually hurts legitimate whistle blowing activities
it's bad to expose operations and capabilities in a way that allows the people that we're all working against - generalized bad guys
a legitimate activity

I normally do not comment on the reptilian thing, but this dude appears to have some serious shapeshifting going on imo. If you watch the flag next to him, IT is not going in and out of focus, or having any digitized problems, just the guy, and clearly when it happens they zoom out so he is not so up close,, that can't be coincidence. Just the first few minutes, and expecially at the five minute mark, his eyes are morphing. And he keeps looking down for a long time, and through out the whole thing he obviously looks uncomfortable trying to hide it. It is mainly his left eye. weird. At 14:21 he is totally trying to shake it off. Blinking hard and shaking his head slightly. GAWD
OR its just the digital.

Giving legitimacy to whistle-blowing? Noice!! I would call that an own-goal, point truth.
