Interesting the UFO possibly having interest in the deer, and the deer don't seem to react to it and seem calm.

The fog is refracting the light from the deers eyes creating an in camera lens flare. See here...

EDIT: Curiously, it is the same lens flare phenomena that happened with the washington 'UFO Fleet' photo. I copied and flipped the 'UFO' lights and they correspond perfectly with the street lamps. http://imgur.com/d5ZK2JP

Maybe but what was the source of the light. Deers eyes don't shine, it was an infra-red camera and there's no mention of any other light source.

In one of the frames in the film it has what looks like the dear looking at the light,
but dismissed by photo in above post the tape is 30 mins long it would be nice
to see if any of the stills have the deer looking at the light in the sky .

The other thing is it sounds like they have looked at the cams before for animals
so may have noticed lens flares or other anomalies before ?

Mystery: The deer are seen bathed in light coming from a oddly shaped object in the air

Beam me up: A sharp light slices through the frame, focusing like a laser on one of the deer

I would say that is probably a cars headlights at that point. All other pictures don't any indicate a light source, even though they keep saying it looks 'bright'. That's exactly how infrared camera look when you get close to them.

Indeed. The news said that the camera doesn't emit light but that's not true. It flashes infrared light when the motion sensor is triggered. The light source coming from the left is most likely headlights. Although headlights would probably be bright enough to really wash out the infrared image with more light. Maybe a flashlight?

Possible headlights through the trees from a car very far away. It looks closer because any faint brightness would show up strong with the infrared camera.

Oh well, it made a nice story while it lasted.

(It's a shame when these stories melt away after someone gets a few hard technical details and examines the facts. It's a good job that doesn't always happen, or we wouldn't be on Avalon.)
