Spin and Lies - Less profitable for MSM

"The amount fell by one-third between 2006 and 2013"
Spin and Lies (don't call it news) are not a profitable as they used to be.
But maybe this ignores (under the table) payments from TPTB.
Could this be the "other sources" ?
