Well whaddyaknow. ET meets Reagan and what's his response? (Probably useless) weapons in space. Sounds depressingly plausible.

Steven Greer mentioned that we have faster than light, EMP type scalier weapons in orbit, forthe sole purpose of blasting down alien vessels. And here's the thing...the aliens CAN switch off the weapons, BUT that's EXACTLY what the bad guys want, because as I mentioned, that small portion of the cover up folks (most want disclosure and no longer have secrets, but the small remainder has the control and actually ENJOY killing people, and creating havoc and misery for the world) want us to be scared, paranoid and militant, and if the aliens turn off the weapons, the bad guys will go:

And since they want war, the aliens turning off the weapons gives the bad guys the provocation. This is why I agree with Greer's notion that we MUST initiate contact with the aliens ourselves, and have both disclosure and contact occur involving regular people, since both the government and military, aka the institutions (:brick: @ the "Allies of Humanity") don't want is to have that positive, Star Trek like future, and instead, have it like Starship Troopers, where it's a military dictatorship, armed with heavy duty weapons, becoming the Roman Empire of space.

Well if they wipe the minds of the PIC's/psychos in charge, they won't even remember a button to push. It's not like they can't you know. I think the choice to do it/ make the decision for self, is the hold up. If they don't, when shtf, the big divine eraser will come out on their behinds.LOL

Also, I feel the weapons are more of a Berlin wall, or better still....Japan, a couple of hundred years ago, that anyone trying to leave the country, or enter it, got executed. The whole 'alien threat' is more a threat to them.
