In the latter half, Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries in Washington state spoke about 'blood moons' and decoding signs from the heavens. Four successive total lunar eclipses (known as blood moons) will occur starting this April 15th, and then again on October 8th, April 4, 2015, and September 28, 2015. Blitz tied this rare astronomical pattern with ancient prophecy, as it's mentioned in the Bible, that in the Last Days, the sun would turn to sack cloth and the moon to blood. He views the succession of blood moons as like a set of red, warning flashing signs or "appointed times on God's calendar." In Genesis, it's written that God created the sun and moon as signs, so an eclipse can be particularly portentous, he noted.

During previous patterns of four blood moons over a year and a half period, the Israeli Six-Day War in 1967 took place, as well as the founding of Israel in 1948, Blitz said. Based on this pattern, during the upcoming blood moon cycle, he foresees Israel involved in a war in the Middle East, related to issues about dividing its land, as well as a global economic catastrophe tied to the seven-year "Shmita" cycle.

I read a threat the other yesterday with insults and comparing the blood moons. It was a Zionist site where just like the dancing Israeli's the arrogance, belittling and arrogance plus threat was all implied. I'm just waiting for them to look for someone who will back murderous racist warmongers who are religious fanatics about older real Estate/Jerusalem, when it was already foretold of a new Jerusalem and it wasn't even in that area. They are claiming that Americans are going against them, and something about the blood moons that are their signal to go after the enemies of Israel. LOOK for it, because they really sounded serious, including the part about the USS Liberty. I threw the site away, but it was in one of yesterday's articles pertaining to blood moons and revenge against "all" those who go against Israel. Sounded rather demented if you ask me.

The prophecy in Joel, like most prophecies, is surreal, beautiful, and open to many interpretations. But we can take away from it the notion of a blood moon as a sign, and check out the calendar for the next bunch of partial lunar eclipses.

That’s what Pastor Biltz did, he looked at NASA’s tables for solar and lunar eclipses and found a string of lunar and solar eclipses happening in 2014 and 2015 and then nothing like it for the rest of the 21st century. In 2015 there will be two solar and lunar eclipses two weeks apart (on the new moon and full moon) one in the spring and one in the fall. This could possibly produce four blood moon eclipses in a row, which is definitely something to write home about.

OK, now hold on to your seats, please: we’ve had the Tetrad phenomenon (a string of four moons partially or completely eclipsed,) twice in the last century, both times on the night of the Passover seder: in 5710 (1949-50) and in 5728 (1967-68).

The year 5710 came right after the establishment of the State of Israel.

The year 5728 came right after the liberation of Jerusalem.

The next string of four blood moons is coming Passover seder night, 5775 (2014-15) – a year from this Pesach.

Oh, and the last time this event had taken place before the 20th century was in 5654. That’s 1493-94 to you and me, one year after the exile from Spain.

Now the much better connected Pastor Hagee has picked up Biltz’s notions and authored a very popular book about the blood moons and what they mean – of course, the second coming of you know who.

No, Virginia, we don’t believe in this stuff, we really don’t follow anything up in the heavens except our Father in Heaven, but you have to admit, this is pretty curious.

It’s also interesting to note that those moon strings each appeared only after the miraculous events, like a kind of confirmation on the part of God: I did this. Which means the coming year or so should be very eventful.

On October 7-8th the next Blood Moon will ocurr. I dont like being right about this
but I do feel an obligation to alert people to the fact that after the first Blood Moon
