Conservatives are bracing for what they fear may be another liberal media onslaught against philanthropists Charles and David Koch: The approaching publication of a new book that purports to tell how they "devised an ambitious, decades-long strategy to catapult their Libertarian-tinged ideology upon the nation…."

Written by Mother Jones Senior Editor Daniel Schulman, the book is due out in May and will arrive in the midst of an ongoing and active campaign by congressional Democrats to paint the Koch Brothers into a symbol of undue political interference by Republican moneyed interests.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recently took to the Senate floor denouncing the two billionaires as "un-American" for donating and supporting organizations that back conservative policies and opposing Democrats in key Senate seats up for grabs this election year.

The new book to be released next month by Grand Central Publishing, a member of the Hachette book group, is titled "Sons of Wichita: How the Koch Brothers Became America’s Most Powerful and Private Dynasty."

Schulman comes from the world of Mother Jones and supporters of the Kochs expect it will reflect the sensibilities of the publication — which states on its web site, "We're not insulted by being called left, liberal, progressive, whatever."

Promotional material issued by the publisher seeks to position it as a mainstream work of biography, comparing it to British historian Niall Ferguson's "The House of Rothschild" trilogy. The publisher calls Sons of Wichita "a complete look into a wealthy and powerful family — warts and all."

That the book will put plenty of warts on display is reflected in its detailed account of an inter-family dispute that involved David and Charles Koch on the one hand, and their brothers Frederick and Bill on the other.

The publisher's promotional material describes that relationship as a "bitter, bare-knuckled legal battle that spanned nearly two decades."

Dan Gainor, the vice president of business and culture at the conservative Media Research Center watchdog, tells Newsmax that Mother Jones has "a huge anti-conservative agenda."

Gainor suggests that the book will be part of the larger Democratic effort to make the Kochs the symbol of Republican money sources.

"Their goal is to demonize all outside money — except their own," he said, referring to the significant controversial donors on their side of the aisle.

Gainor points to the huge political contributions Democrats have raked in from investor George Soros and big labor.

"The left's jihad against the Kochs is one of the most disgusting bouts of lies and disinformation I've seen in a long time," says Gainor. "Liberals have decided their route to winning Congress and the White House goes right through people who exemplify hard work and charitable giving."

Contacted by Newsmax Tuesday, Schulman stated by email that at the publisher's request he would be unable to do interviews about "Sons of Wichita" until closer to its May 20 release date.

Publishing sources in New York tell Newsmax that the book has been shrouded in secrecy and its publishing house has kept a tight lid on any pre-publicity relating to it. A recent LibraryJournal.com review stated the book aims for "a rounded biography" of the Kochs.

In addition to his role as senior editor of Mother Jones' Washington bureau, Schulman has written for the Boston Globe magazine, the Village Voice, and the Columbia Journalism Review.

In February, he co-authored a piece posted on MotherJones.com regarding a document left behind after a donor gathering at the Renaissance Esmeralda resort near Palm Springs, Calif. The article called the document "a fascinating glimpse into the Kochs' political machine."

Several tweets by Schulman also make reference to the Kochs. A March 13 tweet stated Reid "is back on the Koch Bros. warpath," describing the Nevada senator's rhetoric as a "dicey strategy."

The tweet linked to a post on Reid's website headlined: "Reid Remarks on the Koch Brothers' Attempt to Buy America's Democracy."

In that post, Reid alleges that the Koch brothers have exploited Americans suffering from cancer and have tried to rig the political process.

A publishing source in New York tells Newsmax that information about the book has been very tightly controlled by the publisher for reasons that remain unknown.

Says MRC's Gainor: "Through a collection of crazy liberal websites and Capitol Hill allegations, the left is demonizing success and trying to scare away anyone who dares challenge them."

I wonder if the book cover has them standing holding paintbrushes to paint the sky with Chemtrails?

doesn't sound like the Fracking and gray nasty Koch clouds are going to be mentioned...

Aren't they the behind the scenes creators of the Tea Party movement? If I remember correctly they funded and organized many of the early supposed "grass roots movement" demonstrations that magically "sprung up". Didn't they "encourage" a lot of their employees to participate? They were the wizards behind the tea party curtain.

I just received a note from an old friend in Boston...

"So glad you mentioned the Koch brothers connection to fracking. I wonder how many people know they hold the original patent on the design for the fracking system...

How do I know? My ex-husband designed the first fracking system when he worked for Koch Industries in Westboro, Mass. as an engineer in the oil and gas recovery systems department many years ago...it was the first patent he was involved with while working for the Koch brothers.

It took me a while to make the connection....it was not called fracking then."

I wonder if they hold patents on cloud seeding/ Chemtrailing too...

If you find me the article, i'll take it worldwide as well as all the political circles across all isles and parties. In fact, I sincerely hope that as diverse as we are here that you are taking the info to the others in your communities that are listening or taking noted for precautions in case shtf, so when others are losing it, you can calm them down, but don't do so with the gun toters. They carry those guns because they are scared and feel the need for protection. If you're not a friend in their mind, you'll have to prove, you're not a foe.

If you can give me the article, I can do so much with it, before it disappears.

The Koch brothers helped our wonderful Republican Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (Bush relative) get elected and stay elected after a recall.
Magically, Wisconsin now has all kinds of frack sand mines, polluting our environment and draining our water tables. My county alone has at least five operations. We are on a sandstone bed here. Can we say sinkhole future?

Zio connection?

I heard this week that the Rockefeller family are Crypto Jews, and possible the same is true with the Koch brothers.

I am not anti-Semitic, but I am concerned about "bloodline connections", since I think certain DNA may be more receptive to possession, as David Icke has said:

jh-gSElbmDo

"Our rulers are from Massively possessable bloodlines"

The rituals are the same as in ancient times, because they worked then, and they work now

There's a massive connection between Pedophilia and Satanism. Young children have a special energy before puberty. The entities feed off that.

The elites, are conduits for drawing off this energy

Yo Tea Party!!!

Guess who got Obamacare money? Of course it's the Kochs!!!

Here's a fun question, posed by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

"If the Affordable Care Act is so awful," Reid asked, "why did Koch Industries use it to their advantage?"

That's a rhetorical question, by the way. The answer is because they could get a big ol' chunk of money from the federal government, that's why. Congress created a $5 billion temporary reinsurance fund in the Affordable Care Act, to subsidize the cost to employers for providing ongoing coverage for people who retire before Medicare eligibility. The Kochs, of course, took a chunk of that.

The Early Retiree Reinsurance Program, Reid said, "helped the company pay health insurance costs for its retirees who are not covered by Medicare." Reid asked sarcastically: "So it's OK for Koch Industries to save money through Obamacare" even as Koch-related groups seek the law's repeal. […]

Federal records show that Koch Industries received $1.4 million in early retiree subsidies. That's considerably less than the sums many other employers received. A Koch Industries spokesman said he had no comment on Reid's latest criticisms.

Other companies did receive a lot more: UPS got $37 million; Union Pacific $9.7 million; Altria Client Services nearly $11 million; and AT&T $213 million. All of those companies donate more heavily to Republicans, but none of these companies have made it their mission to kill Obamacare. That makes the Kochs a special case. But very typically Republican... link (http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/04/09/1290794/-Guess-who-got-Obamacare-money-Of-course-it-s-the-nbsp-Kochs?detail=email#)

BLM fracking racket exposed! Armed siege and cattle theft from Bundy ranch really about fracking leases

link (http://www.naturalnews.com/044670_BLM_lies_fracking_leases_Bundy_ranch.html## ixzz2yXXnIRWv)

(NaturalNews) The Bureau of Land Management says its 200-man armed siege of the Cliven Bundy ranch in Nevada is all about protecting an "endangered tortoise." But a Natural News investigation has found that BLM is actually in the business of raking in millions of dollars by leasing Nevada lands to energy companies that engage in fracking operations.

This document from the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology(1) shows significant exploratory drilling being conducted in precisely the same area where the Bundy family has been running cattle since the 1870's. The "Gold Butte" area is indicated on the lower right corner of the document (see below), and it clearly shows numerous exploratory drilling operations have been conducted there.

What's also clear is that oil has been found in nearby areas and possibly even within the Gold Butte area itself.

It is, of course, customary for the U.S. government to bring armed soldiers to an oil dispute. (Operation "Iraqi Freedom" for starters...) Heavily armed snipers, helicopters and militarized soldiers have never been invoked over tortoises. (Anyone who thinks this siege is about reptiles is kidding themselves.)

Here's the map showing the oil exploration conducted on the land where Bundy runs his cattle (all the red crosshairs are oil and gas exploration drilling operations):

BLM collects $1.27 million in shale fracking leases
The Bureau of Land Management has just cashed in with $1.27 million in oil and gas leases in Nevada. This was just reported two weeks ago in ShaleReporter.com, which states:

U.S. Bureau of Land Management geologist Lorenzo Trimble tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal the Elko County oil and gas leases sold Tuesday for $1.27 million to six different companies. The auction took place in Reno. The leases are near where Houston-based Noble Energy Inc. wants to drill for oil and natural gas on 40,000 acres of public and private land near the town of Wells. The Review-Journal reports the project would be the first in Nevada to use hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, to extract oil and gas from shale deposits.

The way this works, of course, is that BLM runs land theft operations by claiming they are "managing" the land and thereby kicking everyone else off it. They then invoke a reptile, an owl, a bird, a snake or some other animal which they claim to be "saving," even while they are stealing and destroying hundreds of cattle belonging to a private rancher trying to make an honest living in a nation where productive Americans are increasingly branded "enemies of the state."

Once control of the land is established via court order or by bringing armed men with automatic weapons, BLM then turns around and leases the land to fracking companies who proceed to exploit the land using hydraulic fracturing techniques that inject toxic chemicals into groundwater supplies (and have been linked to earthquakes). The money collected by the BLM is then used to increase BLM salaries and bonuses.

In essence, the BLM is a criminal mafia racket, and Cliven Bundy just happened to be in the way of their next target, the Gold Butte area of Nevada. That is why they brought hundreds of heavily armed men to a "save the tortoise" operation.

"Endangered tortoises" is merely the government cover story for confiscating land to turn it over to fracking companies for millions of dollars in energy leases. In truth, the BLM was rapidly euthanizing these very same reptiles en masse last year.(2)

As part of its police state intimidation to control the land, BLM unleashed attack dogs on a pregnant woman.

See the brutality invoked by the BLM against peaceful protesters in this video of a near-riot just outside the Bundy ranch:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhJ6H9vlEDA

"Does anyone really believe this is still about a tortoise?"

5000 armed militia members are in route to protect the ranch and ready to start a war with corrupt officials owned by the oil mafia...

all of you do know Koch Industries just bought the largest private prison company in the US...

this revolution is what they've been trying for since creating the Tea Party...
