Mark Gorton - Wall Street Genius and Conspiracy Whistleblower?

Hello all,

I just read this tonight over on Gawker.com from a link at Reddit.com. Could this really be a well-respected Wall Street insider (he seems to be, at least) coming out in defense of some "conspiracy theory" arguments? That seems very surprising to me (a welcome surprise!) and for it to be picked up by Gawker too.

Please let me know what you all think! I have not had a chance to read all of his documents. Maybe I should have before I posted but I was actually excited to read something that hadn't already been covered here (and by far more knowledgeable people than me!).

Mark Gorton is a prominent financier and a respected entrepreneur. He founded the music sharing site Limewire, and he runs Tower Research, a famed high-frequency trading firm. Gorton also believes that the "ruthless" secret cabal that assassinated JFK and planned 9/11 could be coming to kill his family.

Wow, thank you for the additional information! I hadn't heard about what happened to Cantor Fitzgerald. There are so many different threads to every story, it's one (of the many) reasons I come here -- no matter how much I seem to read there is always more to learn.

And they... valued BAE Systems pretty darned high recently.
