Sharyl Attkisson: When I'd Begin Getting Under Surface of an Obama Scandal, CBS Would Pull Me Off

One month ago. long-time investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson left CBS amid rumors that she had grown frustrated with the network stifling her investigations. Thursday night on Bill O' Reilly's Fox News program she confirmed those rumors. "There is unprecedented, I believe, influence on the media, not just the news, but the images you see everywhere. By well-orchestrated and financed campaign of special interests, political interests and corporations. I think all of that comes into play."

Here's the interview of Sharyl Attkisson by Bill O' Reilly, on Fox News, last night:

I wonder if this will get as much main stream media coverage as Liz Wahl’s Resignation from RT ("http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?69226-The-Truth-About-RT-Host-Liz-Wahl--s-Resignation..-), which happened about the same time.

first I've heard of it .......

Even when Bill O'Reilly is being reasonable he sounds condescending ,
he reminds me of Piers Morgan, they both have 'punch bag ' faces ...LOL

Gee, I thought for a while she was describing FOX NEWS, their shills like O'Reilly and the work they do for the republican party and their corporate overlords/masters. :twitch:

I watched O' Reilly for several years only to realize that Bill O' Reilly's broadcast are controlled just like the other networks. He can only air what is approved by the Fox executives. I watched him for several years thinking that he was looking out for the folks. Then I had inside information on a story and saw how he was not allowed to truly cover it anymore than the other networks. Fox has a different slant, but it's stories must also toe the line and not really rock the boat.

You and I get only what the controllers want to disseminate to the masses.

did anyone notice the Lyndon B Johnson library going up in flames, start of video?

President Obama will speak Thursday, April 10, 2014

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(AUSTIN, TX) – Today, the White House announced that President Barack Obama will deliver the keynote address at a Civil Rights Summit at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin, Texas, on Thursday, April 10, 2014. First Lady Michelle Obama will attend the Summit with the President.

The three-day Civil Rights Summit commemorates the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Act, along with the 1965 Voting Rights Act and the Fair Housing Act in 1968, helped establish the legal foundation in fulfilling the long elusive promise of equality among all Americans. The Summit will not only celebrate those pivotal laws, but, just as LBJ would have wanted, will address the civil rights issues we face today in America and around the world...

gee Fox any propaganda you would like to share with your viewers? :pound:

LMAO they put it on while she is sharing how something this terrible is happening at CBS...

and no there was no fire at the library...

"did anyone notice the Lyndon B Johnson library going up in flames, start of video?"

yes I did (I'm not as dumb as I look...;)-

if/IF this is actually the LBJ library, who would've had a motive to destroy what was contained within?- so why was the conflagration a running underground/prelude to the Sharyl Attkisson resignation?- there has to be some sort of a connection here otherwise...there wouldn't be a filmed connection; 'coincidence' does not exist-

please be well all-

Thanks Paul, she is a good gal -- she's the lady who did the piece w/ the European vaccine doctor who blew the whistle on vaccine injury via CBS a few years ago.

You can guarantee money has changed hands since CBS touched the anti vax issue... it's the way of the MSM world...

We the people need to create a TRULY alt media, one not subject to the whimsy of capital.

Vaccines and autism: a new scientific review

For all those who've declared the autism-vaccine debate over - a new scientific review begs to differ. It considers a host of peer-reviewed, published theories that show possible connections between vaccines and autism.

The article in the Journal of Immunotoxicology is entitled "Theoretical aspects of autism: Causes--A review." The author is Helen Ratajczak, surprisingly herself a former senior scientist at a pharmaceutical firm. Ratajczak did what nobody else apparently has bothered to do: she reviewed the body of published science since autism was first described in 1943. Not just one theory suggested by research such as the role of MMR shots, or the mercury preservative thimerosal; but all of them.

Ratajczak's article states, in part, that "Documented causes of autism include genetic mutations and/or deletions, viral infections, and encephalitis [brain damage] following vaccination [emphasis added]. Therefore, autism is the result of genetic defects and/or inflammation of the brain."

The article goes on to discuss many potential vaccine-related culprits, including the increasing number of vaccines given in a short period of time. "What I have published is highly concentrated on hypersensitivity, Ratajczak told us in an interview, "the body's immune system being thrown out of balance."

-___________

I wrote this hoping the autism group would wake up a little more:

Hello group.

This news clip isn't meant to rekindle a debate, but I wanted you all to be aware that a very great reporter has been s-canned from CBS and she had interest in our community.

Meet Sharyl Attkisson, a down to earth lady who did investigative stories that not everyone would attempt.

She apparently resigned because of a conflict of interest, i.e. CBS won't let her investigate what she wants to.

(Which is a debate unto itself, and we should probably discuss whether investigations should be protected or hindered by politics.)

In 2011 Sharyl worked with Dr. Helen Ratajczak, a former European pharmaceutical R&D expert, who had written an article for the medical journal Immunotoxicology. The result of their collaboration on this subject was compiled in Sharyl's article:

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/vaccines-and-autism-a-new-scientific-review/

I thought they did a very good job, although there are some terms that laypeople might not immediately recognize in the CBS article. Like "tiniker" and stuff. But please try to read it. Look up the word if you don't know it.

Sharyl didn't mention her work on the vaccine debate in the recent press release regarding her resignation, to my knowledge, but she was invited by another network (Bill O'Reilly Show I think, FOX) to speak out regarding her experience with CBS.

Regarding her investigative reporting and the choke hold administered by CBS, Sharyl shared the following statement:

"There is unprecedented, I believe, influence on the media, not just the news, but the images you see everywhere. By well-orchestrated and financed campaign of special interests, political interests and corporations. I think all of that comes into play."

The Seattle Times did a piece a few years ago admitting its own issues with accepting funds from political groups, particularly the Gates Foundation.

Now that well-known reporters are being sacked left and right, and for some of the better ones there's been no outcry from the public. Piers Morgan kind of stole the show, and no one noticed that Sharyl was also let go.

May a new generation take up the quill and scroll! ;)

Sincerely,

Rachel

p.s. I didn't have a chance to compile my research yet. One problem is that some of my papers are on a hard drive that hard been removed from the PC and was "unrecoverable" according to my uncle. I hope some other people are working on it -- even if we can't share our opinions here, we should be supportive of the fact that people have cares and concerns.

The only 'shocking' thing about her statement is that she uses the word 'unprecedented'.

Someone as experienced as her has no right to sound so naive. She's either trying to cover her own ass for years of selling out, or she has just revealed how gullible and incompetent she was/is. Either way, a very sad revelation, made even more so by the way this story has simply evaporated from the public consciousness.

to her credit, some journalists give up as early as in college.
because shill professors are trying to limit the scope of investigation.
in terms of controlling what is and is not an "acceptable subject".

i think it's good that she spoke out against it. better late than never.
what if a general resigned and spoke out?
would he earn such disrespect?

Re: "...what if a general resigned and spoke out?

I don't know. Perhaps. It would depend, for me, on whether or not the hypothetical general had been entrusted to report the truth as a term of employment, and had purported to spend each working day being honest.

To my way of thinking, generals are not expected to be honest with the general public. News reporters are. Therein lies a huge difference.

In an ideal world, reporters will expose any wrongdoing on the part of authorities, including generals.

So, the question is still: Did she know she was lying on the job, or did she not? Hypocrisy or incompetence seem the only two alternatives.

Of course it won't. Liz's had to have been orchestrated by our war addicts and those with "economic interests". (Ukraine being a segue from the former Syria-to-Iran route in the Middle East?) Sharyl's seems more legit (unfortunate she had to tell her story via Bill Reilly and Fox News. Nicely fits in with Fox's role in the Left vs. Right "Divide and Conquer" distraction.

p.s. Agreed, Bill O'Reilly is disgusting, but Sean Hannity wins the prize for being the most blatant, manipulative scumball to ever grace the MSM (which I guess can be considered an achievement since he is great at it). That he is admired by any half-wit let alone by his massive audience is something to be worried about.

p.p.s. Anti-censorship awards go to White House, feds (for snooping on reporters) which the Right is ALL OVER...lol

This is one of the reasons I don't have a TV. I look at it this way. NOTHING, goes over corporate servers they don't want us to see. And that which they do allow, is just more "Programming". Yes, everything that hits your TV, goes over corporate servers.

Well, the "public demand" is another factor they run -- but yes, most content is heavily censored..

Wanted to let you guys know, I asked to be unsubscribed from my Autism Email Support Group over the Sharyl Attkisson thing...
I linked this story and some women chose to get offended over it, so I told them they reminded me of Fahrenheit 451 and that I didn't need to be in their group anymore.
I said also, I can't afford the things you advertise and have zero friends through this group. :( lol

It's so weird how trying to even open the vaccine discussion gets you shut up faster than 9/11 Truth does.
