At 12:58 am Central Time the Moon will begin to change colors.
It will eventually look coppery red,The first of four Blood Moons.
It has been overcast here all day but it's finally starting to clear.
I already feel It's significance. It's really exciting.

I always pay special attention to eclipses after life experiences, I also share your belief in its significance, I hope it is positive,

Here is the first post I made on Avalon it involves a moon eclipse.

I think it is a notable example of how the dream world and the real world interconnect

First the lead up to the dream – This is real world the setting is Jerusalem Old city and we stop at a street juice vender. There are many different fruits but I notice the pomegranates and comment, half in fun, how it is believed that pomegranate juice especially with the seeds gives you vivid dreams. Given its connection with Persephone, Hades and the underworld.

We purchase and drink the freshly pressed pomegranate juice which is particularly flavourful. That night my girlfriend has a intensely vivid dream. In the dream there are two detective like characters reminiscent of Mulder and Scully. They are stood over a mechanical astrological machine. The clockwork planets move around to simulate the movements of the planets in our solar system. Anyway she is aware of the earth moving between the sun and the moon on the clockwork solar system and then the faces of Mulder and Sculley change into two terrorists. There is a feeling of extreme darkness and she is some what distressed the next day.

Back in the real world
Anyway on this day we are doing the old city tourist thing and coming out of one of the many churches when a boy probably 10 years old comes up to us and accuses me of carrying a gun, which to us seems ludicrous. Of course we do not have a gun we suggest perhaps he thought that my camera was a gun and show him this, but he is hysterical and adamant that we had a gun and his accusatory voice gets louder and louder. A crowd starts to form so we very quickly leave that area.

On the news there is a big story concerning that a high ranking member of Hamas, possibly a bomb maker if I remember correctly has been killed.

Anyway the next day we leave for a resort, just a bit North of Qiryat Shemona, on the coast of Israel, very close to the border of Lebanon.
A few days pass, I can’t remember exactly how many, but a noticeable occurrence over those few days was that an Owl seemed to be following us, it appeared a little distressed and would even swoop down towards us, not attacking, almost in warning.

Anyway we are laying down on a beach in the evening and looking up at a beautiful moon in the sky. Then unexpectedly the moon begins to disappear. Soon it becomes apparent that there is an eclipse of the moon occurring and this reminds us of the dream. We begin to feel a little unnerved by it all and return to where we are staying, of course the owl follows us back.

There were large trucks that would travel down a road that was about 500m from where we were staying. When they hit a hump or potholes they would make a tremendous crashing sound. Anyway we heard a large bang and my girlfriend obviously distressed asked me what that was. Trying to make her feel better I replied that it was one of the trucks although I was not so sure.

Suddenly we were surrounded by huge explosions, it was now obvious that we were under attack from Katusha rockets. I shouted that we needed to run to the nearest bomb shelter which was several hundred metres away, out side we could see the Katushas raining down all around us. Some were landing so close that the force of the blast was felt which knocked us off our feet, luckily no shrapnel hit us and we made it to the communal shelter safely.

The attack was apparently in revenge for the killing of the Hamas official I spoke of earlier.

The way the mechanical eclipse in the dream coincided with the detectives becoming terrorists and the way that this real attack from terrorists happened on the night we witnessed an unexpected eclipse was really quite uncanny

I might pack a pipe and walk 'round town, lol.

Or skip that first bit and drive somewhere to see it a bit better (parks here close around 10 sadly).

tsk tsk.

Whitman Mission cemetery would be a grand view.

The Moon came out of the clouds here a few moments ago and it was shining so bright!
My skies are clearing fast....Yeah!!! My buddy is cleaning the Ocular on his telesope and
I"ve made sure my DVR is set to night scenery.I know I could watch it online but there is
just something about going outside and looking up at the Moon. There is just something so
primal about the Moon! It might be time for a cold one lol

Did you guys know it was the Titanic sinking anniversary tonight?
The same time as the eclipse I think... eek bad luck?

Tesla ----> sad

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinking_of_the_RMS_Titanic

...At about 02:15am, Titanic's angle in the water began to increase rapidly as water poured into previously unflooded parts of the ship through deck hatches.[151] Her suddenly increasing angle caused what one survivor called a "giant wave" to wash along the ship from the forward end of the boat deck, sweeping many people into the sea...

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9c/Titanic_wreck_bow.jpg

... Even as the boats were loaded Astor appeared unperturbed, he ridiculed the idea of trading the solid decks of the Titanic for a small lifeboat 'we are safer here than in that little boat' . He had changed his mind by 1:45 when Second Officer Charles Lightoller arrived on A deck to finish loading Lifeboat 4 . Astor helped his wife to climb through the windows of the enclosed promenade and then asked if he might join her, being as she was in 'a delicate condition'. Lightoller told him that no men could enter until all the women had been loaded. Astor stood back and just asked Lightoller which boat it was. After boat 4 was lowered at 1:55 Astor stood alone while others tried to free the remaining collapsible boats.

Astor's body was recovered on Monday April 22 by the cable ship Mackay-Bennett (#124):...

April, 14th: John Jacob Astor Dies

John Jacob Astor was Tesla's wealthiest and most generous investor. He invested $100,000 in 1899 for Tesla to, as he understood it, further develop and produce a new lighting system. Tesla instead, used the money to fund his Colorado Springs experiments. Mr. Astor was understandably unhappy with Tesla's deception and avoided him for several years. They did later reconcile and worked together on aircraft and propulsion systems in 1908. Unfortunately, Mr. Astor and his wife were aboard the "Titanic" which began to sink after colliding with an iceberg. Mr. Astor was able to help his wife into a lifeboat but was unable to join her. His body was found a few days later and is buried in Trinity Church Cemetery in New York City."

-------

Here's the cutest thing to make you guys laugh. This is a true story.

Years ago, when I was a teacher, I was looking out at the full moon with a bunch of schoolkids. One young girl, about 14, had this little pocket camera, and was going to try to take a photo of it.

"It won't come out, I'm afraid", I told her.

"Oh, it's okay!" She said. "I have a flash!"

Riding the Amtrak train through back countries with a pint of jack Daniels. hoping we are moving to an area with less cloud cover. Can see light from behind the clouds but no good looks. Moving east to west so might get a little bit of an extended viewing...

Well now with your info on the titanic and what blood moons do to heavy machinery I dunno if it will all that much fun here soon. Haha.

Don't worry I snuck it on board in my handkerchief tied around a stick and I'm sitting in the hay sharing a glass with a goat in the livestock car. I plan on jumping off before sunrise.

YAHTZEE!! We have a confirmed visual with scattered clouds and clearing!!

I don't think there's any suggestion there was a blood moon on the day the Titanic sank; it was an April 14th, that's all. But who knows what you will see after a pint of Jack Daniel's :)

When you think about it the Lunar Eclipse is like a quick 'Day to Night time' change for the inhabitants there ha!

It would have been nice/cool to see the Earth from their view point ;)
