Ground controllers at NASA's Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif., have confirmed that NASA's Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE) spacecraft impacted the surface of the moon, as planned, between 9:30 and 10:22 p.m. PDT Thursday

That would been better spent...on just about anything.

What I want to know is did the moon ring like a bell and then echo repeatedly as the sound waves bounced around the inside of the hollow moon like the last time this was done?
And did all the folks inside come storming out pissed off that we had crashed into the side of their house again?
Or is this just another big bunch of BS from the deceptive military agency NASA?

And don't worry Dennis, they just say it costs that much because they don't really do it and they can just put that money into the REAL space agency.
