The SR72 is dubbed "Son of the Black Bird" it maybe operational by 2030, it is a unmanned aircraft with a speed up to Mach 6. Its main propulsion is a Aerojet Rocketgyne. With advancing technology I can safety state it will be modified with updated technology and its capabilities with go beyond Mach 6.

It may come to the point of artificial intelligence who's capabilities mean that it will no longer require human intervention to achieve it's goals.

We are always decades ahead of what is released publicly. In this case, we are much more than that. We have craft that already exceed the speed of light. Why would we be whooping and hollering over something that "only" goes Mach 6? You've heard of the breakaway civilization, right? This is just them feeding spoiled food to the beggars to keep them happy. ;-)

The technology being used by those in the black areas didn't originate with us, i.e. not what we designed nor created. The technology I am referring to was created by us which may be a result of the technology that originated from elsewhere. We are about 50 to 75 years ahead of what is currently known.

"Falcon HTV-2 is an unmanned, rocket-launched, maneuverable aircraft that glides through the Earth’s atmosphere at incredibly fast speeds—Mach 20 (approximately 13,000 miles per hour). At HTV-2 speeds, flight time between New York City and Los Angeles would be less than 12 minutes. The HTV-2 vehicle is a “data truck” with numerous sensors that collect data in an uncertain operating envelope."

Here is what sucks about aviation and rocketry and drones.

Congress values its bankrolls by far more than it does a human life.

Funds were redirected to the financially troubled B-1 Lancer and B-2 Spirit programs. Four months after the plane's retirement, General Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr., was told that the expedited reconnaissance which the SR-71 could have provided was unavailable during Operation Desert Storm.[72]
