This French man has discovered a process by which electrical energy is converted to heat energy by a factor of 116%. As he explains, when you use a heating element ( water heater, Boiler etc) for every Watt of energy that you impart to the water, 0.7 Watts is actually transferred to the water. In his process, he gets overunity, ie, you get more energy output than what was input. 116%!!!
The process involves vibration of the water molecules. The sphere that he uses has to incorporate the Golden Number for it to work in overunity mode.
What's even better is that he wants no money, he freely distributes the plans to do this online.
As he says, it is up to all of us at this point to improve on this concept.
His experiment was verified by a set of well known scientists and overlooked by a legal firm in order to validate the claims.
Here is the video in French:

The WITTS group has the most impressive water heater I've heard of. Last I heard they wanted $15 million for the concept though. Out of my league and probably understanding.

On some French forums, they say that "the Dumas effect" is a plagiarism of Peter Davey's Sonic Resonance Boiler (http://www.rexresearch.com/davey/davey.htm)...

Yeah buares, I read that too, hey I'm just happy it's out and people can benefit from it. I really hate it when the inventors just sit on it forever and ever then they die mysteriously or not so mysteriously, Stanley Meyer comes to mind of course.

Yes, this is the originator/inventor of this technology, but when he openly asked for people to invest for 1 million dollars, no less, he took it to his grave, and others picked up the ball. The technology was meant to be free for all, even if he just supplied the parts, and gave people jobs to assemble them, the thought and materials are cheap, and anyone can do it easily. Greed should never be the motive to bring solutions, when the world is in wars and murder schemes to own the possession of "electrical power."
If it's done with the right intent, and helps people gain jobs to stand on their own, it goes further, than just the immediate instant wealth factor.
Just saying. In fact when the guy died, even the commenters posting said: "Damn, he should have took it viral for free and freed the planet. Greed made the guy think small and selfishly only for himself, I really do believe this, by the way he "stated he wanted the money first." Not judging, just saying people can see through the intent these days, and went on to say that he should take it to Kickstarter program, and get it moving. He didn't and died, and for that, I think maybe he had a medical problem or something, and needed the money for a surgery. Some people are too proud to say what's really on their mind and be themselves, for "fear" of how others think they should "be." He appeared to be a "proud old soul.
They didn't say whether it was foul play.

Well such is life. He should have divulged more about it before he passed. Taking the secret to his grave did nothing to serve humanity at all so in this case taking it is worth applauding!

Here is a quick translation of the directions for use for those impatient to give it a try.
(Original in French with technical drawings available here: 25610)
Any native English speaker here: feel free to copy/paste and improve translation yourself.
DUMAS RESONATOR - Directions for use
1) Get 3 steel hemispheres of the same size (galvanized if possible, otherwise any metal will do but there is risk the material could deteriorate over time). Weld both hemispheres together to make a tight sphere.
2) Get a threaded rod and weld it to the center of the sphere. Once welded, surround the base of the threaded rod with insulation (plastic bezel).
Note: It is important to respect the coaxiality on reference A, because of the spacing between the lower and the upper sphere.
3) In the center of the hemisphere drill a hole the size of the diameter of the rod sphere (alternatively the size of the rod + insulation). Drill also up to 20 holes of 2 mm diameter, which will give the hemisphere the look of a colander.
Note: The drawing shows 7 lines of 3 holes of 2 mm diameter.
4) At the bottom of the welded rod on the sphere put two 2 mm plastic washers, drill the hemisphere in the center and adjust spacing at approximately 1.6 to 1.7 mm.
(For pinpoint accuracy the spheres should ideally be made with a 3D-printer)
5) Screw a nut on the rod and adjust the spacing between the upper hemisphere and to the lower sphere in order to ideally get close to a gap of 1.61 mm (gold number). If the spacing is much lower (0.6 to 0.9 mm) then it will short circuit. If the spacing is larger than 1.8 to 1.9 mm, then the effect will not occur.
6) Connect a electrical wire (phase) (16 A) on top of the rod welded to the sphere.
7) As depicted on the drawing connect the 2nd wire (neutral) (16A) for a direct contact on the upper hemisphere using a lug.
8) Put a switch on the wires and connect the wires to an electrical outlet secured by a standard differential circuit breaker.
WARNING: The mounting of this method is aimed at scientific experimentation and opens a gateway to many applications: water heating, home heating, production of drinking water, electricity generation by energy surplus...). It must be done by a professional or handyman in electric technology. This method demonstrates several physical effects which remain poorly understood. The inventor disclaims any liability in case of possible misuse of such a use. NEVER TOUCH THE UNIT IN OPERATION NOR THE WATER NOR THE JAR (risk of burns and / or electric shock). Never perform experiments alone. Make sure to use installation secured for short-circuits and protective equipment (mask, gloves): risks of splashing boiling water or steam, potential release of flammable gases (oxygen, hydrogen). Very interesting - looks like a really simple thing to do.
But what's it driven with? DC? AC? If AC what frequency? Voltage?
One video appears to show it working just plugged into the 230 VAC mains.
I suspect if it works, it would work even better if experimentation on the frequency and waveform were carried out. Has anyone done this? Or has waveform/frequency proved irrelevant?
Just clarifying before I experiment...
Nick
