When looking for a connection to the present infatuation with zombies people have with movies and the media, I have often come back to what Meier states here.
The killing machines ala terminator on one hand, and then you have the super soldier experiments going on, where Meier states they are genetically creating soldiers with no souls, if you can believe that.
Meier stating that these soul less soldiers will eventually escape and cause devastation and destruction the likes of which the world has never seen, especially in North America where they are primarily being created.
