some on Avalon may be familiar with David Cole due to his (in)famous Auschwitz documentary (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQjNs-Ght8s) twenty or so years ago (IMDB link here (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3248020/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1)). He then got himself in more hot water when he subsequently appeared on mainstream U.S tv shows such as Donahue (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUjRIcgtz2Y) and Montel Williams (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jx9G4zmpKv0).
Long story short: within a couple of years of all this, the JDL had put out two bounties on his head, the first being for $5000 and when that proved ineffectual a second was put out for a more substantial $25000. It was at this point that David Cole publicly recanted his revisionist stance before going off the radar completely.
When the dust had settled he resurfaced as David Stein (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1783655/?ref_=fn_al_nm_2), using his journalistic skills to produce several mainstream Holocaust documentaries as well as a string of mainstream press articles under a variety of pseudonyms, many of which can be read within his website here (http://www.countercontempt.com/archives/category/media) (if you look hard enough). He also became involved with the Republican party, in particular getting involved with/founding? a group called the Republican Party Animals aimed at presenting a more youthful image of the G.O.P to younger audiences by way of more lively type fund-raisers and knees-ups.
All was going smoothly until around a year ago when he was "outed" by an ex-girlfriend within the G.O.P scene at which point the Stein paradigm collapsed for good.
Ryan Dawson was the first to do a substantial interview with him since his subsequent return to "Cole" status, Jeff Rense following closely behind (thumbs up, Giovanni (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?3596-Up-At-The-Ranch-And-Beyond&p=829542&viewfull=1#post829542)).
