A convention may be held to disolve it all, OR ANY part there of. It doesn't necessarily have to get rid of all of it. A convention may also be used to "Ammend" any part of it. This is just more scare monger crap to make us think that if we do, we will loose everything. Not so. We could very well just get rid of the part we want, and ammend the rest to conform to that which we do want. We've already had many constitutionall conventions, without loosing it all.

IMO...humble as it is, don't think we need a Constitutional convention as much as we need an amendment regulating corporations, associations, yes, even religions, from interfering with the operations of a limited government...now that would be a game changer!!!

Let us enforce the original before ammending it. A good Constitution not enforced and violated at will does not ail, it is the administrators and enforcers that err. Wise citizens will demand justice for those not following the spirit of such a great republic given to them.

Ut, oh. There are a majority, that would vote not to include me in this country, on all sides because discrimination even with 4 degrees, still exists, and the equal opportunity clause, hasn't included either side of my family, in either country. Bwahahahahaha...So what. I answer to what's right in the world, not the wrong doers still hiding where ever they think it's feasible.

It's true though, just ask the far right. I'm not a part of their future, and that's the sad part, because I believe I have the answers to a lot of what they are concerned about that would unite. But how do you unite hate for others/including me. I look for no pity, I'm just so damn tired of trying to figure this out as a nation of immigrants and slave descendants, left out of America, despite helping to found it physically, and facing discrimination. I've no doubt that people here if they saw it, would do something to stop it, but there's more of them and they push the "right's buttons." Conquer, ego of being #1 dog on the Alpha block of the world. I am woman and am sick of both discriminations. I've paid my dues and then some. When will I be included in prosperity also, and not just poverty and lack of opportunity?

Here is as good a place as any, and I think I have a few people here who will deal with this question honestly. Would I be welcome, at a Constitutional Convention in 2014 as a minority. Who's throwing the party/paying for it? KOCH brothers and their many octopus arms of control? Nevermind, if it's too deep and no one can answer without anger or the old "racisim and discrimination doesn't exist, so get over it clause." Am I wrong to ask this now after being here so long, and still in the material "real" world? Should I just pretend or should I find out if I'm also...I don't feel that I am, but it's always neglected. And my God for how long is this answer never to be discussed anywhere? How long/many centuries, before we are seen as equal as Americans, because we "are" slave descendants? Are we always to just shut up about it? Please, anyone with a serious need to help Lifebringer understand if there's a plan by the "good people of the world" to have my people of color, included?:juggle:

It's not fear, it's just shame at this time for my country whom all of my family from 1706 have participated in the armed services. WE are construction family and sawdust is in our blood.
It's just not fair, and damnit, I want fair for my children, at least.:wizard:
