Does Music/Vibration/Emotion and Spirit, Connect?

Hi everyone, i suspect that like myself there are many other Musicians and or songwriters here on Avalon. Even if not a musician or in a related industry most have a love of music and listen to and enjoy it usually daily.

i believe that since mans origin, music is one factor that has brought us together and through it's lovely vibrations has connected us in ways such as love and emotion that may have truly been mans beginning of awakening.

i noticed early on while playing acoustic instruments when my friend struck a note on his instrument it started a lovely sound and vibration along with the harmonics in mine. The note when left alone was maintained for quite a while, just with the human ear and i don't think even science knows if that sound/vibration ever ends.

A musical note/vibration usually at a high frequency has always brought about a reaction or emotional feeling in myself. Whether by voice or by instrument certain notes give me the goosebumps, especially the bagpipes. The notes seems to extend into the body vibrationally along with the harmonics producing emotions such as happiness,joy and a feeling of goodwill and joining with others. Not matter the genre certain notes/ vibrational hz can have an effect.

Further i suspect that all the experience that we have during meditation we have and experience with our creator/source/one self/all that is....is via vibration/frequency.

All of a sudden I realised the playing was way beyond my normal ability.
The question occurred. Was I playing the bass or was it playing me ---then there was a sense of total unity with the instrument---where did I end and it begin. It seemed part of me---we were in a passionate dance--we were lovers and yet one at the same time.
That's the best I can describe it. It was an ultimate high without drugs and not much alcohol.

Musicians I think will get this and probably experienced similar.

Thanks Chris, same here, i have gotten into zoned out meditative states where myself, the guitar,
the band, music and audience seemed at one....very spiritual. The music/vibration/raised frequency
seems to extend to everyone there along with it's harmonics, and like you said with very little alcohol.
i believe that in this world, vibration/frequency/music is a connection that remains between all
of us and our creator/source/ultimate selves and perhaps this same subtle energy is part of the
creation of all we can see in this universe....I hope to get into that later and hope others will help.

I find it very interesting that there can be so many extremes when it comes to music preferences. In a group of friends, who value one another's camaraderie, there is sometimes a huge gap in musical tastes. One individual might like classical music and loathe heavy metal, while another individual loves heavy metal but loathes classical. How could there be such a wide gap between people who grow up in the same area?

I think that how people resonate with information is directly correlated with how they resonate with musical tastes. As we are all on our soul journey, we are on different levels. No superiority exists, as we are all one. But some of us are older souls, some of us are ET souls coming from a higher density, and some of us are very young souls. I think that where we are on a soul level, thinking in terms of grades in school, dictates how we resonate with our surroundings.

After all, we are sound-vibration complexes, each resonating with different frequencies. The universe is made up of vibrations through which energy manifests in different forms. That beings said, I am going to make a bold observational theory...and I hope that I do not offend anyone.

If we are all made up of different frequencies, and each of us are on an individual path on a soul level, then wouldn't it make sense that we listen to music that resonates with our energetic frequency? Just like people often wear colors of clothes that match their aura, unknowingly, I think it is possible that we listen to music in the same way.

Science already shows that music does influence emotions. That is why I am going to boldly say that those who actively listen to louder, disorderly music such as heavy metal, may be in the category of younger souls. Their bodily energetic frequency may be lower as they have younger souls, so the music (which is just vibration) may simply feel right for them. The music's frequency matches their energetic frequency and there is no disruption.

Those who actively listen to classical music, on the other hand, which is very opposite to heavy metal, may be in the category of older souls. These individuals have accumulated more experience through their soul journey so resonate with a calmer, high frequency. Classical music is very soothing and organized and flows in tune with the frequencies of nature. Therefore, it may make sense that these soothing tones match the frequency of an older soul who has more experience in finding inner peace.

Again, I hope that this doesn't cause backlash on my part. I don't think this applies to everybody, but should be taken as a general theory. It doesn't matter whether an individual soul is younger or older than another, or has a lower of higher vibration, because we are all one and on the same journey.

I use toning to heal, and concentrate on the harmonics in the chord I am singing, asking for the harmonics to become a bridge into the spiritual realms to bring healing energy into this realm.

Yes everyone seems to have their own brand, i think that is a part of who we are at least while were here on this planet.

Also i believe the music plays forever, all of creation plays it's everlasting lovely song, all that exist, has it's vibrational frequency. In this world we seem to have dulled our ears to creations lovely song. When we really love someone a sound need not be made and when we love a pet nothing need be spoken but it is known and completely understood. God/source/our true self/creations ........song/music/vibration is eternal and is always calling it's own, even though the part would believe it's self sleeping/dreaming or unaware. God/ source/our true self gently waits, gently reminds, until the self believing it sleeps chooses to awaken.
