We all have views on what happens 'next' and up until a few years ago I tended to
put the subject to one side, as i get older my atheist views have diminished and
I like to think there is more to this ' theme park reality'...LOL

I have always thought there must be more to life, but religion never and still does
not feel right for me. Bob and Ion views on the subject are more fun and appeal
more that we are all 'eternal gods' and it goes from there. JW the 'human creator'
Ion comes thru has always seen spirits/ghosts from a young age and still does.

This is an early interview and the meme has evolved as Bob has played
thousands of hours of material on his shows since....

iON | An Introduction

http://halkinnaman.com/ed/audio_rr/ion_intro.mp3

iON answers Lance White’s question “What’s happening at this time?”

ION spoke at length about humans being Creator Gods (in training), and gave
demonstrations of how powerful they truly are. He shared the technique of “OVERLAY”
(rather than changing belief systems). Also discussed: We can DO, BE or HAVE
anything; LOVE is a FORCE FIELD; and the veils are thinning rapidly, due to humans’
collective desire to experience All That Is.

You’re More Powerful Than You Think

Bob mentioned that the ghost of Steve Jobs has been checking out JW’s computer.

Maybe Mr Jobs is reporting his discoveries back to headquarters. The latest Apple
ad plays on the iONic memes that humans are powerful and it’s not a thinking
man’s game.

At the gates of heaven: A new book, drawing on the stories of dying patients and
doctors, will transform the way you think about your final days

‘At around 4am that morning, my father gave an audible sigh. It was loud enough
to wake my mother, who sleepily assumed that he was having a bad dream.

But he wasn’t. That sigh was his final breath as he died.

No one, least of all my father, had known he was ill. As for my mother, she’d
assumed he was still asleep when she rose a few hours later and had breakfast
alone.Afterwards she’d returned to the bedroom and tried, with increasing
desperation, to wake him.

There was, however, one person who knew about Dad’s death well before Mum did:
my sister Katharine, who lived 100 miles away and was herself suffering from
terminal breast cancer.’

Messages from the dead: The drowned son who returns for bedside chats. The
astronaut who spoke to his father’s ghost. Impossible? This spine-tingling series

‘Thought death was clear but? A new book, Opening Heaven’s Door, will callenge
your views. In the second part of our serialisation, bereaved people recall visits by
dead loved ones, writes Patricia Pearson.

A humid night in summer. Ellie Black wakes at around 3am and her eyes focus on a
figure at the end of her bed. It’s her father, from whom she’s long been estranged.
Now fully alert, she watches him as he tips his hat and bows with a flourish. Then
he’s gone.

The following morning she relates the experience to her daughter at the breakfast
table. Later that day the phone rings — with news that her father died in the early hours.

A tall story? Not at all.’

@Cider

if I may share a personal anecdote: the mother of my life's partner is the most down-to-earth, practical, no-nonsense person one could imagine; doesn't sit around and "muse" over the real purpose of life, etc.- just deals on a terrestrial level with the practicalities of life as they are dealt to her; if anyone would tell her "I think I saw a ghost" she would laugh her rear off and accuse the ghost-seer of being a fringe lunatic-

ca. 10 yrs. ago Jean-Claude came home from work to find his mother sobbing; between sobs she subsequently continued to verbally repeat "I think I'm going crazy"; to make a long story short, for the previous 2 wks. at sporadic times whenever she went into her living room there was 'a woman sitting on the couch,' a silent woman she had never seen before and a woman who just faintly smiled at her but refused to answer such understandably normal questions as: "who the hell are you!?"/"how did you get in here!?"-

after she confessed the situation the phenomena suddenly ceased;

Jean-Claude and I are on the same page; we don't rule out ANYTHING, including, understandably, the 'labeled' paranormal...

please be well all-

Larry

I agree a lot of beliefs are embedded in our psyche
from a young age and grow over the generations.
I've been watching documentaries on Gobekli Tepi
all afternoon and the National geographic vid
attributes its build to early forms of worship and
it is done quite logically and interesting within
the known parameters of our present understanding.

"Beliefs are just thoughts we have had for a long time"
As Ion said at the beginning of the his interview at
the top of the page and to change them you have to overlay
the old thought with knew , thus changing your particular
belief what ever that maybe religious or mundane everyday
activities....

I did not particularly believe in ghosts , but if one sat on
a chair beside me after the initial surprise I hope we
can have a interesting discussion, if we are able to
communicate.

I am open to ideas and I think with the web and the
fact we are 'pure electrical eternal beings at source',
a lot of dormant abilities and ideas are starting to
manifest into reality and if communications stay
up we will share these abilities with all the 'wonder full
human creators' around this world , the holographic
universe and beyond...LOL....

Thanks for posting the TED video. TED Talks are usually very 'Hard Science', although the TEDx tend to have more latitude.

Maybe this is a sign that mainstream science is taking tentative steps towards looking at this stuff more closely. About time too!

OTOH it may be too 'Woo-Woo' and get removed from their website (but not deleted from the web), like those by Rupert Sheldrake – The Science Delusion; Graham Hancock – The War on Consciousness and Nick Hanauer – Rich people don’t create jobs.

The 9/11 survivors who were guided to safety by spirits … and other haunting
stories from people who claim ghostly presences saved their lives

‘As he lay sleeping in a muddy trench in France one night, William Bird woke to find
someone shaking him. It was 1917. He’d just been through the Battle of Vimy
Ridge, and he was exhausted. Irritably, he tried to pull away — but whoever it was
continued to shake him with some urgency.

So Bird — a journalist in civilian life — wearily opened his eyes and, to his utter
astonishment, recognised his brother, Steve, who’d been reported missing in action
two years earlier.

‘Steve put his warm hand over my mouth as I started to shout my happiness,’ Bird
recalled. ‘Then he pointed to the sleepers in the bivvy and to my rifle. “Get your
gear,” he said.’’

Three-Year-Old Remembers Past Life, Identifies Murderer and Location of Body

http://www.davidicke.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/126498194-676x450.jpg

‘A 3-year-old boy in the Golan Heights region near the border of Syria and Israel
said he was murdered with an axe in his previous life. He showed village elders
where the murderer buried his body, and sure enough they found a man’s skeleton
there. He also showed the elders where the murder weapon was found, and upon
digging, they did indeed found an axe there.

In his book, “Children Who Have Lived Before: Reincarnation Today,” German
therapist Trutz Hardo tells this boy’s story, along with other stories of children who
seem to remember their past lives with verified accuracy. The boy’s story was
witnessed by Dr. Eli Lasch, who is best known for developing the medical system in
Gaza as part of an Israeli government operation in the 1960s. Dr. Lasch, who died
in 2009, had recounted these astounding events to Hardo.

The boy was of the Druze ethnic group, and in his culture the existence of
reincarnation is accepted as fact. His story nonetheless had the power to surprise
his community.”

Hey! Cider!!!

I have always thought there must be more to life, but religion never and still does
not feel right for me. Bob and Ion views on the subject are more fun and appeal
more that we are all 'eternal gods' and it goes from there.

By this, and other postings if your that I have seen around the forum, I would surmise, that you have not been following, or even read, any of my thread???!!!

http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?51152-The-Secret-Of-The-Soul-and-OBE

Which if you had, you could very well be havin "a bunch" more Fun, than yer havin. ccc.

For yes we are... Gods. All of us. Well most of us anyways. cc. For there are some here, who are not. cc. We are all a little piece of God, (Source, as I call It. As in the Tibetan monaker of: "The Ever Unknowable Source Of All Creation.") that It, sent into the Physical Realms, to "Experience" the Physical, for It. Yep, us.

We are Immortal Spirit Beings Of The highest Order. This body... is NOT who we really are. It is just a suit that we wear, to have this physical experience. We have the Knowledge... and Power... of Source... to use as we wish... whenever we wish... and when we return to our true Spirit Self, we can remove the word Impossible, from our vocabulary. yep, can, for ther is NOTHING, impossible for us. If you can think it, you can do it. yep, simple.
