Ya'll be careful not to bring fcc to the site. They are harping about taking movies to other site to be viewed w/out author or publisher's permission. It's okay from what I understand to send them to the site, but not carry the whole/movie off for viewing w/payment. Donations to the site, are reasons they will use as a: "theft hub" as they stated in a hearing. Theft hubs take music, movies, and or anything the original poster, did not give permission to take. Okay to view there, but not here. Just saying be careful. WE don't need unnecessary attention or trouble with someone shutting PA down. If the program you have will actually bring the movie, in your shared, it's easy to track.

Safe travels and I enjoyed all their movies. Shame you have to go to Google/Youtube now and have their cookies all over your page. The links posted from them, have viral cookies/spy cookies that get in here also. A programmer would know this, if they've watched the hearings, on what they fully intend on prosecuting. If they own the artist rights/management, then they can come after you.

Be pretty stupid for an artist or producer to put his stuff in anything, especially Gates "cloud" of stolen patents or ideas. "Sure put your stuff here, it's safe."

3-6months later: "Ooops, our bad, we've been hacked and there's a possibility, that you stuff's privacy, may have been compromised." Good ole paper and pen and a safe place, is the best place to put your ideas. At least for me. I'm skeptical for keeping my book on the desktop, whenever I run the virus protection and pick up at least 16 potentially dangerous virus/malware.

Ever since Google joined You Tube, it's been a battle to shake off the cookie fleas, when you lie down with Youtube.

Great heads up LIfebringer. Hey MODS, are we ok to do this here, do you know? Should we have a WARNING placed on that YT link about not bringing movies here? Should we stop bringing any YT videos herwe and just provide the link, so that filks will have to go there to watch vids??? Don't know. Just sayin.

I watch a lot of YT movies but don't usually bring them here except for short vids, but do bring some. So am really curious as to what we really should be aware of???

Thanks guys!!!

Here is free TV-series:

Use FireFox (or WaterFox), and download https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/self-destructing-cookies/?src=api

Go to http://stream-tv.me/

Find the series you want to see, click on start (fat arrow) click on full screen (maybe 2 times). DO NOT download anything.

There are tools you can use to download the movie, so you can see it on TV (if your TV can use an USB stick, or you can use DLNA).

Cheers Johnny

I'd ask that you make an effort to know the preferences of the author/publisher/uploader of the material.

Some want their material posted far and wide; some don't care or haven't given the matter a second thought; some find value in viewers or readers going to their own website and don't want people to access their material otherwise.

Shorter youtube web blog videos tend to welcome wider distribution; longer for-profit movies and pay-to-view material more often don't want it.

When we Admins receive notices from authors or publishers of material on other websites, asking us to take down copies of their material posted on the Avalon forum, we normally honor that request.

Perfection in honoring the preferences of others is neither required nor possible. For example, sometimes those preferences change or were not clearly stated. A reasonable effort and intentions (by all of us), and a willingness to follow up when complaints are received (usually by the Admins) is appropriate.

I always felt that if a youtuber doesn't want their vids embedded on other sites, they have the option of just disabling that feature on their video. The embed feature is there for sharing IMO. If you don't want it spread, then disable. That said, it is easy to forget to do those things sometimes. I find it is not breaking any regulations by embedding videos that are there for the taking unless of course you are using it for profit. Please correct me if I am wrong though. I also know that some folks on yt upload videos that they know are copywrited. And they are taken down shortly after.

I find it interesting though that many science fiction type movies that we know have many truths in them regarding hidden technology and other avalon topics of interest, some of them 15 years old or older and they are still are not available for free. Ya have to wonder, why is that. They still want to keep as many people in the dark as possible. Or its simply greed. A little of both probably.

Immortal
"New York City, year 2095. A floating pyramid has emerged in the skies above Manhattan, inhabited by ancient Egyptian Gods. They have cast judgement down upon Horus (a falcon headed god), one of their own. With only seven days to preserve his immortality, he must find a human host body to inhabit, and search for a mate. In the city below, a beautiful young woman, Jill, with blue hair, blue tears and a power even unknown to her, wanders the city in search of her identity aided by a doctor who is fascinated by this mystery of nature. Reality in this world has a whole new meaning as bodies, voices and memories converge with Gods, mutants, mortals and extra terrestrials. Stunning visual effects meld with the poetic surrealism of comic-book creator Enki Bilal's fantastic epic story. A ground-breaking step into the future of film-making."
