Ok, so the other day I watch this video about cell towers:

tfG9zljgFh0

I've seen towers like this all over my neighbourhood, everywhere I go, not palm trees here (altho there are cities in my neck of the woods where they've made them into deciduous trees!)...and it suddenly occurs to me.

Let's assume they do in fact act as cell towers. Let's also assume for a moment that there are more of them for, say, another reason. I'm watching this video and I'm thinking to myself, wow! We're being slowly irradiated....

...Then I had the brain fart. What if the irradiation is a side effect, or a lesser, of two evils.

What if these signals are meant to do more than just pass cell phone info, and irradiate people. What if they're designed to keep someone out?

Think back to the 40's and 50's. Isn't it a common idea that radar signals were a part of the reason there were so many UFO crashes? Would it not make sense then to apply the technology, or similar forms of technology, as a means of keeping certain peeps "out" instead of "in"?

What if the cell towers are protecting us?

Thoughts?

Additionally, could it not be said that the cell towers might prevent aliens who would do so from openly disclosing themselves to the public?

Of course, I have a hard time accepting that aliens could be brought down/prevented from such means. Perhaps once upon a time, but they've had 70+ years to wrap their over-large heads around it.

"Crap, don't get too close, they've got radios!" :tongue1:

LOL I hadn't thought of that, but it's definitely a hypothesis worth also including!

The radio wave problem may be so central to their tech that it remains difficult to create a work around for 'them'. Also, it appears to us that it is a 70 year old problem, but the time distortions involved with their mode of travel may render this argument irrelevant or cancel it out.

Nuke the power stations. They will have alot hooked to backup generators - but these require fuel to run and not all of them would be hooked up. That would create holes in the grid.

What about all the places with no cellphone coverage? Massive areas and town's that dont have it. Would we not hear reports like crazy from those areas?

Cellphones i'd say is more for tracking and controlling us. Think of each cellphone as a bug - it listens, it relay's everything. From that they profile and add people to lists as they deem fit and act on people they see as problems.

Cellphone tower's dont go too high up into the atmosphere - Come to Australia (and not a town equipped for it with booster antennas all the way up buildings) you will lose reception from the 15th floor and up. They would be able to show off their ships (even if it is just jump in... wait a few seconds then bugger off - on many occasions) we would get the message that they are here quite clearly.

i think cellphones were invented with great intentions - the science on their effects was done too little too late - the "problem" they have now is if they admit they are doing us harm - who are going to be the ones to blame? How many trillions would they lose from people sueing ? Then tearing the infrastructure down - paying for loss of business and income - and then finding an alternative that is safe, just as easy to install/maintain/produce and has all the same capabilities as the current? (they'd probably have that sorted by now if they admitted there was a fault and researched alternatives....)

If they wont show themselves it's because they chose not too. We need to get the mentality that we will be saved out of our heads. The only ones who can change what is happening is ourselves. Stop waiting for a savior/hero to come (like all the movies tell you - someone will come and save the day - and that someone is not you...)

Who said anything about expecting or hoping for saving/assistance? I think you are inferring along a preconceived bias. The point of this OP appears to suggest that cellphone towers and radiation might make the general area less hospitable to alien technology, and preventing a greater level of interaction (positive OR negative) than is currently being experienced, and that it might be intentional.

Just because a cellphone reads "no signal" doesn't mean there are no signals, it means there isn't a consistent signal to fixate to and operate from. Just because a radio doesn't appear to get reception doesn't mean that there are no radio waves in the area.

I understand your position about aliens and unwillingness to appear, but you're reading far too much into it and are acting from a far too preconceived disposition for what appears an entirely theoretical exchange IMO.
