Its hard to decide. Is mother nature just venting her pent up stress and then trying to cleanse herself?
...or is this the results of those big nasty boys playing with their silly destructive toys?

A change in the planetary vibration tends to look and feel dramatic, if viewed from the outside.

Humans have such an amazing fascination with weather. The earth is a volatile planet. Always has been, always will be. Every second of every day there are storms raging. At any given moment, there are literally thousands of lightning strikes taking place. Because of modern communications technology, we are able to record and witness any strong weather just about anywhere on the planet. If we just focused on the lightning strikes, we could do so every second and people would believe we were witnessing a biblical lightning storm. And, of course, the television "news" hypes these events to try to scare people because fear grabs viewers and sells advertising space. I love the video of the north Dakota tornado captured here. It's really beautiful and the guy capturing the video isn't scared and is in awe of it. But the host, in his best movie trailer voice, says something like "this F2 tornado was as wide as a football field is long." Well, that's only a 100 yards wide, which maybe isn't so much for a dust tornado but it sure makes it sound a lot bigger and scarier.
Why do these media companies constantly scare us with weather events that we wouldn't even notice or care about 100 years ago? As I just said, to sell advertising and to push climate change fear. "Biblical" weather has always gone on, we just hear about a lot more of it all now because there are billions of cameras everywhere.
