People are essentially bored so they predict things that are unpredictable ...If those people spent as much time in renewing their relationship with Father and Christ they would care less when is going to happen.

Prediction: Knowing about an event that WILL happen in the future
Predictions are common. You can predict how much money you'll earn, what soccer team will win or what will happen in the near future.
Often these predictions are true and if they'r not you should consider more actors and facts next time you want to predict:p

Prophecy: Warning about a future that will happen if people don't change.
Prophecies don't occur often, it takes a prophet, someone with higher knowledge on a subject, speaking in metaphores and prophesizing POSSIBILE SCENARIOS for the entire world.
These are lessons or warnings to create a consciousness so the prophesized scenario actually will never happen.

A lot of people confuse the two.

I stopped paying attention to doomsday or return of Christ scenario's. The only predictions and prophecies I "like" are those of great cycles and changes into new era's.

I would agree to a point :) but I feel you missed one rather large piece of the pie a 1/3 of it actually and as I see it, the primary reason people are always trying to fill that empty void they feel while living in the 'material' world.... Their connection with the Mother - the divine feminine the creator of the Physical realm. It is only through the Mother that all life comes forth....There is a reason Christianity turned Patriarchal - it was to deny the role of the mother and resultant fracturing of the soul.

That part of it is sort of off topic - but in the oneness with the Mother and the Father - one also has no need or fear in the future for one is always in tune with the cycles of life. That is sort of why I said 'we' have a few issues in that regard all the focus on only the role of the masculine and ignored or tried to suppress and control the feminine has created a huge schism in the soul of not only the planet but all those upon it. Like a cosmic divorce.

Predictions can also be considered another attempt at controlling life and the cycles of the Terra.

We are the creators of our own reality. If we focus on the end coming, it will come. Don't dwell on the end but on living. Practice living well with nature.

End or not, the important thing is not to allow fear to dominate your thoughts. Instead, turn toward spiritual development. Our bodies may die, but our souls endure.

The end of a World IMHO is more the progressive lost of the sense of belonging, it has started in the 60's when the traditional family explodes and when we decided to park our elderly in end of Life houses.

My experience with Alzheimer patient is irrefutable, nurturing the sense of belonging, maintain the individual daily, weekly and seasonable rituals and personal habits.

Reeducation in autarcic development is a realistic option, so yest a Perceptual World is fading but the rise of a new perceptual and objective world is on its way.
