Oh yeah, this chick is definitely a terrorist! You can tell by how intelligent she is and how well she speaks and how she practically glows with happiness and love...and, of course, how she says she trusts natural herbs and healers more than she trusts her government! Blasphemous!
Ha, amazing video share Cidersomerset!
I couldn't help it but this made me think of this (1:30 mark)...

In my opinion this is one of the most important threads on the forum, especially considering all the ex service people on this forum with PTSD.
Without psychedelics I would be dead, no question, I have had some pretty traumatic experiences and they have helped me on my journey, although I now focus more on yogic techniques
That is not to say the whole area of psychedelics can be a minefield, as much as they can heal, in the wrong setting and with the wrong guide they can really f*ck you up. These cases get all the publicity and all the positive studies get sweeped under the carpet.
I think we also need to be aware that not all indigenous healing s are necessarily positive, although in my experience the majority are
My ex wife is from the amazon of Peru, and I know of some shamans that I definitely would not recommend to be inside your head. There world view is pretty funky to say the least, but to the average psychedelic tourist they may not be aware of this.
Regulated legalized psychedelic healing could have a huge benefit for the mental and physical health of mankind,
although it would probably put big pharma out of business,
ooooh I wonder if that it is why it is highly illegal?

I'm no expert on drugs but my late mother was on a cocktail of drugs when she passed in 2003
she suffered from depression and had other issues, but seemed to have one tablet to counter
the effects of another. In hind site I wish I knew more about it and I would have told her
to have had some cannabis if we could of got hold of it.

I think cannabis can have its uses but psychedelic healing should be more about having an intense experience of between an hour to a few days and then not needing to be dependent on anything.
Your mind and body re balances and your inner pharmacy starts functioning properly.
Of course old people can be more delicate and this needs to be considered
This isn't recreational drug use, you should not need to re experience for months if not years, although you may initially need a few sessions, if not it is just another addiction

They have a massive amount of potential benefits but the governments keeps shutting down all the research. They know they are key to expansion of consciousness and are therefore a danger to the establishment.

I don't see how anyone could do a serious session and think it's recreational.. I flirted with psilocybin as a teenager and it profoundly changed the way I thought about the world (though I wasn't ready to fully understand it till later when I mentaly matured a lot more).
I'm drawn to shamanism; it fascinates me... I wouldn't mind studying up and trying to help people in this capacity, though the legality of it is in question... maybe if I form a "church"..
