Bigfoot UFO's earthquakes, cancer .... these are all things animals ie dogs have received premonitions about before or during the event. What are they picking up on and can humans develop this ability?

Animals can understand much more than we give them credit for. My little smart arse Arab horse was in on the conversation I had with a trainer who was talking about riding horses bitless. From then on I had the devils own job getting him to accept the bit!! So, he got his own way and we are now bitless! He is much happier. I also once had a psychic message from a horse I was nervous about riding. The message I got in no uncertain terms was "get on!! I'm just as nervous of you as you are of me!!" I did as I was told!!!

Hmm, not quite what the thread was about! One thing I find very accurate is animals forecasting bad weather. One sign I always notice is animals ( especially cows) all lying down in a paddock. They take the opportunity to lie on the dry ground cos they don't when it's wet! Another sign of bad weather is the hawks we have here in New Zealand will not leave their prey (road kill) when wet weather is coming. I also had a wild pig that roamed about the farm. I always fed him well away from the house but if the weather was going to get crappy he always came to the house demanding more food!!

I have a cat that won't let me go OBE, so I definitely buy into this. He always pounces on me at the moment of separation.

He also saw an entity that I saw, and was extremely freaked out (his tail was bristled, back arched). Many animals still have complete use of their third eye because they don't have silly "language" and "words" retraining their thinking processes. They see things they way they are supposed to be seen.

I've been having premonitions since a youngster, so it's definitely not only for the other animals. I would recommend peering out through the forehead or third-eye area, with eyes closed, for a number of minutes before falling asleep... I have found this helps with all dream recall, including future visions.

TY 4 sharing valley, would you call it ESP and do you think things like sensory deprivation chambers might hone this ability or other methods? Thought of meditation but strange animals arent doing things like meditating at least of what we are aware of so they must be able to activate this sense without worrying about other external stimuli getting in the way. We as humans are multi-taskers which might hinder the ability. The practitioners of yoga use things like meditation to focus. Do you have to focus to get the premonition? cheers...

PS. forgot to mention that animals like the Ghost Hunters dog Maize helped to find ghosts, so animals are tapping into something seen or heard.

As far as humans go, I think if you take a spiritual path your psychic abilities tend to increase naturally. If you take a psychic path for me I would practice with dice and cards, and that tends to lead to the spiritual as well.

Sensory deprivation sounds rather drastic, like if it works to enhance your psychic abilities okay but doesn't that kind of make you crazy. Seems too big of a price to pay. Just an opinion.

Different animals have different sensory organs so it may be truly difficult for humans to relate to those. Most animals communicate through energy and visual imagery.

Documented dogs can sense cancer, both in human beings and and little viles. It has been theorized that they can sense the necrotic cell or cells that are dying but not all cancers have a high rate of dying cells and there is evidence that says they can sense all kinds of cancers and diabetic episodes and about 1 in 40 dogs can sense someone about to have an epileptic seizure. Non breed specific.

Elephants headed for high ground 24 hours before the tsunami hit in 2004 in India as well as cranes in Micronesia, Puget I think, where the whole area Was flooded (they abandoned their nests and young losing a generation but having the species survive). Frogs disappeared in the following large earthquake that occurred in Chile, 3 days prior to it all the frogs disappeared. We have a lot of tornadoes in my part of the woods and there are many animal stories dogs, cats, horses and cows that seem to sense them coming. I'm convinced.

My old dog reacts to things with my daughter if she is in trouble he knows it and sometimes he seems to know it a head of time.

TY for the comments, questions, and thread... Mojo. :) I'd rather call this a natural ability, than ESP, or some other "buzzword"... "its" existence, potentials, usefulness, and practice seem more compelling to me. I think sensory deprivation chambers would help to enhance this ability... especially if your chamber was perhaps pyramidal in shape, though I haven't experimented with this much. A much easier "training" technique would be to just wear a blindfold during extended periods in the day, to block out all light from entering your inner visions... I'd also suggest the best time of day to do this would be soon after a deep sleep session, right after breakfast or an early morning snack might be ideal... as most of my future "glimpses" have been the very last vision before waking in the morning. This may be because this is the time when we have "left" the physical waking consciousness behind for the longest period of time.

The animals may be tuned into this more easily because they don't have as many distracting thoughts and "brainwashing" that humans are so subjected to these days... and I think our multitasking abilities could actually work to our advantage here, if we learn effective training techniques.

As far as "focusing" goes... I don't think it's necessary, but likely helps quite a bit for getting specific visions. I have used focusing on a particular future vision, and gotten it... so I know this can work too... but most of these visions have been unplanned from my experience... and are many times of events or experiences I will encounter during the next day. Focusing on peering out through the forehead/third eye for lengths of time seems to be very effective for having much better clarity and recall of all inner visions, from my experience.

PS... Sorry, took a while to get back... lost my message and had to retype a few times.

It's neat that you posted this -- last week a friend and I found a copy of Maurice Burton's "The Sixth Sense of Animals" in a thrift store... seems like a very obscure book?

thanks for posting the thread. Lots of us here are into birds and such (there are dolphin fans too haha); subject needs more public scrutiny and attention :)

Nice thread Mojo. I've always been interested in this. Here's a little example of dogs predicting a big break of ice in Sweden ...

Actually, no. I Intend to try it soon. :)

Good video here (F-bomb warning though).
