If any of you have ever suffered with Plantar Fasciitis you will be eager to read this post. I have had this condition since the mid 90's....for years I suffered with it thinking I had sore feet what could a doctor possibly do for me....but then in about 2000 I went to a chiropractor who worked massaging out all the scar tissue and I was able to walk again without pain for the past 13 years!!! but then six months ago (having packed on a few pounds) the pain came back....unrelenting pain for the past six months.....if you've never had this pain you can't understand, one woman described it as walking with a lego brick stuck to your heel! It can be crippling and traditional medicine will only offer you cortisone shots, surgery or orthotics....the first two with very dodgy results and pain of their own.

Soooo last night while suffering with this pain after a day walking around Costco and the mall I thought how the hell am I going to go on a two week holiday with this condition......I decided to have the cortisone shot just this once so searched Facebook for support groups and to find out what the story is with this treatment.....thankfully I discovered a page called Plantar Fasciitis Survival Guide.....a very young man has written a book and uploaded several youtubes on how to heal this 'incurable' condition. I watched his videos and read what I could on his website and tried his techniques.......IMMEDIATE RELIEF IN MY FOOT!!!

something I never knew was that the pain in my foot is 'triggered' by spots in the calf muscle.....he shows you how to use a rolling pin (odd but it really works) to find these spots massage them out and then offers some 'scraping' techniques with things from around your house to offer immediate relief.....not instant cure but I can tell you after a day of walking for hours like I did yesterday, I would normally be crippled this morning especially upon first getting out of bed, but this morning was only a mild discomfort.....I am so thrilled to have found this that I had to share it for any of you who have suffered with this condition.

Here is his web site http://www.pfsurvivalguide.com/my-book and you can find his facebook page searching Plantar Fasciitis Survival Guide

You can download the e-book, kindle or order a paperback .....I highly recommend it to anyone suffering.... medicine free techniques to HEAL your HEEL!!!

If you download the book and write a review for him on amazon, he will send you a free signed copy of the book! He is presently studying to become a doctor, an amazing young man.

My husband suffered from this for several years.
I posted the below post in July of 2013. He cured himself with bio resonance...
or Electro-magnetic frequency therapy....

I mentioned the story on the Here and Now thread, when we first discovered it. My husband was the first to benefit. He had been suffering from what he thought was a spur under his heel...quite painful. It turned out to be a ligament issue...I can't remember the exact name. Every six month or so when he finally found the courage he injected himself with cortisone...right into the spot under his heel. It hurt a lot, but after two days gave him pain relief and he could walk normal again....for a few months.

One day in a restaurant he was sitting next to a Swiss friend who was in the process of developing this machine, together with a Hungarian scientist and a Canadian EM wave expert. She invested in this project, after spending three years studying and figuring out how one could make this available to the public, not only practitioners.

So, chatting with my husband about his condition she pulled out a tiny Acer Netbook, connected the MicroMat via USB cable, opened the program, chose the appropriate settings and placed the mat in the chair behind him. After twenty minutes it stopped. He felt nothing at the time...and being skeptical didn't give it any further thought. He is a medical doctor. General practitioner.

That evening he noticed that he was walking normally and that he was pain free. Next day, next week, next month. So when I saw my friend again I asked her how was it going. Not ready yet...But all this time my husband had no pain. Well, we were the first customers when it came on the market. She brought Gordon Johnston to our home for lunch, before he even had the MicroMat website ready.
We promised to help plug it....not involved otherwise. We receive no fee. I've not done that much plugging, except that I mentioned it once on my thread, and now.
I have a MacBook, and been having problems with the VM ware...virtual windows...can only use it when my husbands laptop is around. I'm planning on buying a windows-based netbook so I can use it more often.

Needless to say...it works like a dream. The longest program lasts 25 minutes...called mood. Which reminds me....going to run it right now...been a bit low lately, as I'm under a heavy Saturn angle.

Try squeezing Vitamin E on it, 8-10 nights in a row

The pain came back a month later, not quite as severe as before. That's when we decided to buy the mat.
Over the year he had three more sessions, and has been completely pain free for at least 8 months.
We now use the mat for other ailments, like headaches, back ache, detox, to relax, to boost vitality.

The rolling pin sounds like a good thing to use if you have Lactic Acid buildup/nodules in your body.
Were those mentioned as a possible cause for the knots in your leg?

I've had this problem since I was a little kid. Thought it was just me. chuckle chuckle. I just shift to walkin on my toes and it goes away. I just take smaller steps so that I'm not putting my heel down first. After pert near 3/4ths of a century, it's just a natural thing for me to shift weight from my Heel to the Ball, for "instant" relief and keep right on walkin. chuckle chuckle. I ain't about to go to no dr. and say, "my foot hurts." ccc.

Hows that work?
One swift tap on the back of the head cures all pains Ha!

Only joking,
but saying that I have often wished someone would (temporally) put me out of my misery's in such a way, such has been the pain at times Doh!

I haven't been near a doctor for this in over 15 years, after he poked my foot, sent me through the roof with pain and I screamed "what the hell did you do that for?????" he said you have plantar fasciitis, you can have surgery or cortisone shots or buy some arch support but you will have it for the rest of your life. I suffered several more years until I went to the chiropractor.

The trigger spots in the calf I am not sure what they are from , just that he says using a rolling pin to break up the knots has an effect on the foot pain and it really does...its incredible.

Ulli I did contact Gordon and I mentioned your name. The machine he suggested is $600 and not in my budget at the moment, but something I would really love to do at some time.

For now its rolling pins on the calf and my mother loaned me a device on the weekend called an IQ Massager......you attach pads to the pain area and its plugged into a little thing like an ipod, and it gives an electrical jolt to the muscle......it can be turned way up (painful!!!) or way down, what ever feels good......I am going to give that a try.

I remedied mine by strengthening the muscles in front of the shin bone. The muscles in the calf become much stronger than the ones in front, and the imbalance creates the condition. Simply lift weights with your toes, lifting up using the front of shin muscle.
