Individually we can chose to be a "roe" or we can feed the monster of the nightmare. My conscious choice is to not feed the monster, yet I still sometimes do. Less and less, but still... I sometimes do.

I think you are profoundly correct . From where I see it ... the totality of human consciousness is still partially deep asleep , and some of it is dreaming its long dreams about awakening ..and some of it is waking up with each and every awakened soul and their mornings ..

The proverb at start seems to say something like 'Dignity as an oil come with a price, once sold can not be repaid' .

I watched the tribe for some other reason.. but watching them , the thought came on my mind 'you're so beautiful' . Without a pause , solemn voice coming from one of the beautiful souls answered : 'you're God' . In simple tense , the way you tell everyday greeting to a friend .
And I felt shivers all over my body and felt like I was blessed .

In the language of India .. lets put it that way .. God is Anubhava , God is an experience of yourself in primordial state ..not even inch different from who you are ..
he is Amrita, the highest bliss of immortality . He is 'tat tvam asi' , thou are that .

The experience of God is God . In India, when people go to meet saints or seers , they don't ask them 'teach me about God' , they often ask 'can you show me God ?'

For they believe that men of God can transfer the experience on anyone they choose or who is ready . It is the meaning of the original 'diksha' , initiation and also original meaning of baptism . Only the one ( priest ) who abides in Divine Presence can pass the experience to others .

In India again .. as far as I know .. people who were said to 'found God' often went 'conventionally mad' for the rest of their human experience .. some danced and laughed, others remained silent .. but all seem to be very happy people above all, abiding in the natural state of being .

The important point to remember ..is that God is not other from who you are in your original natural self . If you wake up ...the God has awaken with you ..

Four hours or so ago I was reflecting on Amzer Zo's response. I recalled a profound experience I had on Easter Sunday, April 16, 1995... easy to recall the date as three days later was the Oklahoma City bombing.

I was dreaming. But this was a dream like I never had before. I was dreaming that I was dreaming.

The dream started with me dreaming (not knowing what was next). What came next was the dreamer awoke. "I" (me as I am in this 3D world) realized I was this person in the dream that was dreaming. I knew where this "me in the dream" was... at the boarding school I went to for high school. My perspective was from this "me's" point of view which was dreaming. This "me" in the dream awoke and what this "me" saw before "his" eyes on the wall was a strange shape like beams of light flowing from an empty center straight out and with a slight curve at their end. Strangely too, this object was turning slowly but in the opposite direction one would think it would turn if it were a fan being wind blown.

Suddenly this "me" (in the dream) started to "realize" what he was seeing was "GOD." That person in the dream began to shiver with massive goosebumps and then I (this apparently actual 3D me) began to wake up. When I did, I was flooded by these shivers and goosebumps and this lasted for 20 minutes as I timed it on my watch. Once I was able to recover from it all (it was about 5:45 AM at this time), I woke up my wife to tell her about it.

A few days later I drew the object that I saw with a pencil. I counted the number of beams I happened to have drawn and it was 19.

The Oklahoma City bombing happened on April 19th.

I soon became a bit obsessed as to what I saw. This also related to the strange object placed in my left hand when I was 6 years old during another anomalous event. One day in what I believe was the summer of 1997 I was in the shower and was hearing Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" in my head and suddenly the words came to me... "The Power Eye." I jumped out of the shower and told my wife, Lucifera, "I know what it was! That was put in my hand... ! that I saw in that dream! It was the 'Eye of GOD!'" She already knew these sorts of weirdnesses happened to me and so she said, "Great... when are we going swimming?"

I reminded her from time to time - "It was the Eye of GOD!!!"

In this same time frame one of my top three all time favorite bands put out a new album and did a tour where they came to Dallas in late 1997. We got two sets of seats - front row and just coming up the risers. We invited another couple. At the last moment, me and the other guy suggested Mandy (the Lovely Lucifera) and my friend's wife take the two front row seats and us guys will watch from the risers. About 1/3 the way in, YES begins to play the title song of the new album, 'Open Your Eyes.' Just as they begin, on a big screen behind the band displays the very image I saw in my dream and it was turning slowly just like in my dream. I caught a screenshot of this from a now unavailable video that used to be on Youtube -

Fortunately, my views about these strange events have shifted. I didn't "see GOD." Nor was it "The Eye of GOD." Nor what was put in my hand when six was "The Power Eye."

But for a "surface dwelling ignoramus" like me they are still profound.

I chalk it up to the power of the subconscious and to qualities of this quantum existence.

And so again the point of this long story is that I had not thought about this for years and yet today, I recalled when I was actually dreaming of me dreaming and that when that dreamer awoke, that dreamer thought he saw "GOD!"

And then joeecho (perfect name for this too as isn't a dream but an echo of the subconscious??) posts Poe's 'Dream within a Dream' in the very thread I am posting about God dreaming us!

Truly... what are the odds?

My last post (the one just above this one) depicted an uncanny synchronicity. Some who may have read a few of my posts may have encountered some of my previously recounted synchronicity experiences. To be honest, I have yet to meet someone who has shared with me the same (or a greater) level of experience with synchronicities as I have written up (much less actually experienced). Do not take this comment the wrong way. I am not implying I am some, great "synchronicity master" though I do have experience and have found ways to develop this talent. Yes, it is a talent just like being able to nail 3 pointers in the NBA or being able to play incredible guitar can be a talent. My point is that I suspect many who do, keep their mouths shut about it in fear they may get "locked up in the loony bin" if they "come out of the synchronicity closet."

But I am getting off track.

The purpose of this post is to share an excerpt of an interview I read recently with regards to this phenomena. Here is the relevant section -


AA: Synchronicity is a topic that I have noticed is recently gaining 
quite a bit of attention in LHP traditions, like the re-awakened Chaos
 groups,as well as what many consider high-level LHP organizations. By 
your personal cosmological standard, how big of a role do those
 amusing little coincidences and seemingly random events play?

DW: Synchronicity is an act of perception that uses the confluence of
 subjective and objective states to order the chaos of existence.
 Sadly, for most people it becomes merely a thrilling distraction.
 I’ll give an example of synchronicity that produces varying levels of 
energy and Intent.

Bill, on his way to work on an early winter morning, sees a brilliant
 shooting star in the sky. His sleeping wife Mary dreams of a meteor
 shower. Later in the day they both hear “Drops of Jupiter” by Train –
Bill on the radio on the drive home, Mary at work when her cubicle 
mate plays it. Let’s look at different levels of action that this can
 have:

Zero level – Both wage slaves, exhausted by work, do not share nor
 reflect on any part of their days after work. No gain – this is the 
level of most people. No synchronicity has occurred – no one heard the
 tree fall in the forest of Magic.

First Level – They both mention the occurrences and muse for an 
instant that there might be more to the world than meets the eye.
 Awareness drew near, but didn’t overtake them. These are people who
 have cool bumper stickers – they don’t do the Work, but often energize
 those that do.

Second Level – Both are very excited at the synchronicity. They’ve
 read books about the idea and can even say “Jung.” They derive joy 
from the incident, are sure there’s more to the world than meets the
 eye, and post it on their Facebook status. Awareness in a feeble
 state has entered their lives for a moment – if they are lucky they
 will use this energy to separate a little from the world-machine and
 become freer. Some of their energy may improve sacred places or bring
s some thoughtfulness to political decisions.

Third Level – They have a moment of true Awe. They compare their
 perceptions to the beings of Flatland that can observe a sphere 
passing through their dimension as a circle that grows then shrinks 
away. They realize that both their psyches have seen the edges of
 something bigger and stranger that is moving toward them. They decide
 to watch their lives carefully to See more. They admit that they 
don’t Know anything yet, but are filled with a long desire(aeonic
ref?) to Know. They keep the incident just between themselves for a
few days. They feel energized – and for reasons they don’t grasp now,
they become more deeply drawn to each other. In a few days they are
 able to make different subtle changes in their lives that lead to more
Joy and to seeing more of the Wyrd of the world. This is the level 
that the true magic of long desire begins.

I suspect there is a fourth level, but I have not been able to
 articulate it yet – but then I’ve been a practitioner for only thirty
 years. But perhaps one of your readers is Seeing it now.

Fourth Level - the "light goes on" when one discovers how one can actually psychically fertilize the very ground from which uncanny, all but improbable, profound synchronicities spring. That one can enter into a sacred dialogue with the All that Arises, which I see as the Goddess, manifest(ing) as if we are in a Sacred Kosmic Dance or perhaps even more... as if we are actually making Sacred Love... but this is my personal metaphor and by stating it I do not imply anyone else should adopt this view... At this Fourth Level, it is hard to argue that messages are not being transmitted though often they are messages of an immensely private nature (or should remain so) and thus hard to share with others or perhaps even unwise to share with another.

This sums up my world now. It is a true, magic kingdom yet at the same time, a kingdom planted squarely in the heart of some of the most hideous darkness and rarely shared beyond me and Her.

Besides insanity/sanity neither one is all it's cracked up to be. If you are awake then God is the awake, if you are asleep then God is asleep. Just one thought.

YES! It is like being magic... exactly. The tricky part for me was getting over the specialness. But now, I am comfortable that I have developed this talent. I generate them. I know how to do it. The key ingredients are a.) and most important, be in top health and have had plenty of good sleep and b.) be open to spotting the beginnings of one and c.) generate massive enthusiasm (and even amongst any third party observers who may be in the vicinity).

I am firmly convinced this is not happening to everyone at the same level. There is a process one can align with the reality... as Don Webb stated above -

This is an action. - an "act of perception" which through the powers of the sub conscious and the nature of our quantum experiential realm, what we bring forth echos back.

So many metaphysicians I respect state, "the world is one's mirror" and I have found this to be true. And the mirror is alive! And this mirror responds back enthusiastically when one connects with Her as some of us have developed so to do.
