A spectacular fleet of balls of light hovering over the city of Astana, capital of Kazakhstan on the evening of June 20, 2014. Witnesses, having spotted the mysterious lights, they were able to document the event. In the footage you can watch hundreds of spheres, at a very high altitude, arranged in a cluster of lights flying towards the sky as if they were one single body. In fact, the spheres chasing each other, sometimes letting out slight flashes of light. Surely they are not Chinese lanterns or balloons, due to the dynamics of flight absolutely abnormal.

The lights appeared to me as if they were all attached to each other, and the movement, the swaying back and forth looked like something blowing in the wind. I am on the fence. Something off about it that I can't quite put my finger on. I am not convinced it is otherworldly. You decide. BTW, I am a believer in the "otherworldly". Just not sure about this one.

* definitely Sidney, at about 1:31 im seeing 3 or 4 lights sway left and right at the same time, i believe this is battery powered light strings suspended from some sort of black balloon or something, but i can see in more than one place, 3 -4 blinking lights swaying left and right at the same time, and the way they "bloom" and fold into each other, its like the lights are fastened to some material ,but ill put my money on numerous light strings fastened on material suspended from some type of black balloon, not to mention the camera man is a slightly suspicious also,he pulls the camera away then seems to say "i lost it", lost it? u just pulled the camera down silly, too bad , keep looking up! peace, dennis

Agree, could be done with balloons and perhaps even some sort of reflective material. It would take some effort but certainly can be accomplished in such a way. Does not appear as normal UFO type craft propel themselves. I have seen MANY ufos in my lifetime.

And I don't know how this was even seen from the ground unless the camera man knew it was there in the first place.

They look like nats to me, small flying bugs. Why they would light up, I don't know. Black light perhaps?

They could be earthlights. Kazakhstan is an active earthquake region and Geologists say that there's a correlation between earthlights and earthquakes showing up in the same area.

Today, in fact, there was a 5.2 EQ in Azerbaijan which is near Kazakkhstan.

Could be absolutely anything. Not the clearest video around.
