We can learn how to grow food when petroleum based fertilizers and fuel become too expensive or simply unavailable. The average Cuban lost 20 lb with the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Wow! I was surprised by many of the Cuban government initiatives. Our government would look for corporate solutions. Thank you for this fascinating video.

I think maybe we all can learn something from "rogue nation" Cuba;

if my read sources are correct Cubans receive free medical care, just like Libyans did before the US invasion;

my neighbor lady suffered a stroke 6 yrs. ago while she was vacationing on the Canary Island of Lanzarotte (if one is not yet aware the Canaries are under Spanish jurisdiction); she attributes her full recovery to the care she was given by two very young, very concerned Cuban doctors who worked for free to receive a scholarship-funded higher medical education under Spanish auspices-
