Traffic jams are a thing of the past with the car of the future. Sleep later and get to work earlier in this highly maneuverable engineering marvel. It won’t just change how you drive. It will change how you live. Ideal for avoiding speed cameras.

Wow!
Now we can have three dimensional traffic jams. Won't that be fun?

I've been waiting since my Aug 1955 issue of Popular Mechanics for this. (ok, so it was my older brother's)
...and such a bargain at only $1.2 million a copy. You simply give them a child as down payment, and the payments would be....

Morning Fred,

Hope you and yours are well.

LOL Fred, a real bargain to be had. Fred, are you showing your age now pal?

Fred, are you showing your age now pal?

I am trying to verify a theory put forth by John C. Dvorak, about 15 years ago, regarding the whole concept of WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get)

He said, "WYSIWYG is just as bad an idea in computing as it is in women."

I'm trying to see if this extends to guys, as well. ;)
Fred

PS: I chose the pic wearing me tux because the ex-wife says, "It makes you look extinguished!"

I wouldn't even want one of these ... not in plain white and where are the wheels? Without wheels it isn't even a car! Scandalous!!!

- interesting thought, a flying car, and nice basic design, this one:
..
http://futureisnowstore.com/index.php?page=flying-car
..
They seem to use a propeller or fan- based propulsion, and
that moves a lot of air and involves noise, i guess .
A bit stoneage in an otherways broad scope of contemporary
possibilities, and andvanced theories available to us.
They should focus more directly on the electromagnetic fields,
gravity is a sort of planetary inherit technique, that also could
be "backengineered and slightly manipulated" , sort of speak ...
..
We have to look into the propulsion of our regular cars as well,
the time is well overdue to leave fossile fuels behind for that
everyday need for energy consumption. The car is a useful
invention and enjoyed a lot, actualy a needed tool here in the
countryside, where everything is far between, and buses rare.
..
Obviously it would be interesting, and nice, to be able to travel
in a car, without being limited to the roads, on the ground ..
..
- the flying car has three "wheels", two in front, one in the back.
here are other designs of more analogue three-wheeled-cars.

btw, a helicopter is based on a main horizontal air propeller,
balanced by a rear vertical propeller, it's two linked "wheels" .
..
how ever,
- have a nice trip, anyway the method of transport.

I know in my bones that power sources are possible that make chem batteries and coal fired powerplants seem like stone age tools. Bear in mind that we've been given access to energy sources that have built in limitations as to capacity, portability, and reliance on resources that are easy to control. I also feel it to be true that other sources of abundant and free energy are being harnessed on thus planet, just not by those of us still hooked in to thematrix.

A viable vehicle with efficient, non-polluting means of propulsion (whether it be ground or air) is not a matter of being possible. It is a matter of control. Antigravity vehicles do exist - we must accept this as fact even if hard-as-nails evidence is hard to come by. Same for free energy. It's release and widespread use await relief o the control structure under which we all labor as members. We may yet enjoy things such as these, and sooner than we dare think.

Although I quit trusting airplanes when they took the propellers off, we part ways here.

A helicopter does not fly! It temporarily beats the air into submission.

A bit of a generalization, perhaps ?
Of course, I also know of people who are barely safe on the roads,
and can imagine the chaos, and danger, if they were let loose in the air ..
Some people just don't know how to flow ...

Sad, but true. Now we have cars crashing into our homes, our office buildings, our bridges, our arenas, our hillsides. Will GE sell a domestic version of their electric gatling gun?

I will take one car and one Gatling gun. Let the fun begin.:plane:

- Well said, and partly my thought on the presented flying car, since they use propellers or jets.

Idea is not new one
Moller is "on it" for like , 20 years? Little real stuff though. SkyCar Wiki entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moller_Skycar)

Every project before mass production is for rich only.

That is, until fast prototyping will go mainstream.
