Sunspot 1117 which is located in the northern hemisphere of the sun, is starting to form some new sunspots.

Keep an eye on this region for any further growth. There will be a small chance for C-Class flares.The solar wind stream is now gusting over 600 km/s and this could help trigger minor geomagnetic storming at very high latitudes. This is due to a coronal hole on the face of the sun.
