Thankyou Limor,
just thought I'd 'bump' it since it's coming up (Saturday) in case someone missed it :bump:
"...how do we access our authentic inner-presence?..." good question...

Thank you so much, wobbegong and Sidney, I intended to bump this today. I really do think that members here may find an interest in what the Rise group of people:
Kelly La Sha, Eve Lorgen, George Kavassilas, Sienna Lea, Perry Mills, Peta Schwartz, Tom Montalk
may have to offer with this welcomed initiative, if they check the contents and feel that it speaks to them.
I attended the first livestream event in May because I thought that the discussions and topics, the mutual learning and sharing may be very valuable at this time, and also it is important to me to learn to communicate and be in more meaningful ways. I found that it was a good evening with openess of thoughts and knowledge in a very human like atmosphere.
The topic of Alien imposition in our lives is very important, and very much hidden from the eyes of most. So, I do recommend participating in it for those who are interested ~

I got the mp3 of the last session
http://www.risemultiversity.org/#!event-recordings/c1n0o
and found that Tom Montalk, Eve Lorgen, and George Kavasillas were able to articulate meaningful information in moments.
However, there is still a lot of New Age blah blah blah where I listened closely for some meaning but couldn't make out anything of substance when the other two panel members were speaking. Since this was an introductory round table, that might be why.
The very first, and even the second, audience member who asked questions at the end when the Q&A session opened up sounded more "with it" than a couple of the panel members. When the laughing mature aged sounding woman started to talk with a lot of New Age terms, I was bored.
And the first half hour felt a bit pre-2012 New Age-y for a while. One of the panel members had an amazing ability to talk for a long time and say nothing by stringing together a lot new age terms - like "authentic self" blah blah blah - even stating there was no more "love and light" stuff right in the middle of a New Age babble rant. I hung in there, waiting to see what GK, TM, or EL had to say having heard many of their interviews before and hoping for some straight talk.
TM and EL were the most cogent speakers. Hopefully future Rise Multiversity roundtables will be more informative and spend time wisely. Less talk about how the roundtable technical details work . . . or don't . . . that should be handled off-line.
Before 2012 there was a lot of attention paid to many speakers. People were afraid and wondered what was the truth.
After the 2012 non-catastrophic-event there was relief and a turning away of attention from the speakers.
In 2013 some of the speakers started to band together and start groups, mainly offering courses online or conferences online, or participate in cruises or conventions. Yet, from what I have seen the numbers of people paying attention dropped off dramatically. In 2014 I still see some speakers finding various ways to reach out and market their skills, experiences, or knowledge.
I still think highly of some of the speakers who came forward pre-2012. Many of them gave much of their time for free doing many podcast interviews - sometimes with obscure interviewers without a clue as to who they were or what their area of expertise was. I bought their $150 courses or their $40 dvds because I wanted to support them and also wanted straight information without having to deal with the interrupting interviewers asking dumb questions.
That didn't mean I always believed what the speakers said, but I did want to examine what they offered as their experience, research, or belief system.
In the first roundtable offered by Rise Multiversity, there were some glitches, but there may be hope. Hopefully the panel members who actually have something intelligent to say will be encouraged to speak more. I am still curious and still want to hear and think about what they have to say.
I was interested in the short discussion on AI, particularly what GK, TM, or EL had to say on such a topic.
I am in the midst of a repeat "read" of Tom Campbell's MY BIG TOE and there is a lot of information in there about AI and the construct of our reality and Consciousness. At this point I think Tom Campbell does a far better job of explaining the AI system and how a human life experience fits into the Consciousness experience. After listening to TC's book, the New Age-y vagueness and belief system doesn't have a solidness to it. Tom Montalk's demi-urge, however, could still fit in with Tom Campbell's book, for a flexible mind.
Also, the whole part of the roundtable discussion about removing chakras or removing astral bodies because they aren't needed still come across to me as a kind of "Schtick" where someone has to come up with something different in order to stand out from the rest of the speakers. I still give the speakers credit for being brave enough to be different, but am not certain if I agree . . . but might change my mind . . . if it ever makes sense
The third? caller to the Q&A was brave to share her personal experience of falling in love with what sounded to be a New Age-y male speaker (not on this panel) who she ended up having sex with and was concerned about something she perceived was done to her. The silence after she spoke was interesting and I wondered who of the panel was going to answer her question. I don't think George Kavassilas was the first to speak, but he did address her question gracefully and with compassion and intelligence and kudos to him for that.
I hope Rise Multiversity works. I look forward to the Q&A portions at least where GK, TM, and EL will be available to address audience questions.
Also, not everyone's musical tastes are the same and it is not respectful to listener's Free Will to force a 4-minute musical piece to be listened to at the very beginning of the podcast 'so everyone can have a moment to chill or breathe' (paraphrasing the intent) - maybe the beginning is a good time to start the round table. Since my mp3 player is unwieldy to fast forward, I simply took out the earbuds until I thought the music was over.
Not certain of my schedule Saturday, so haven't signed up for the next Round table, but it's nice to know the mp3 is available for a donation. Hopefully the next roundtable will be tightened up.

Thanks so much for the very considered review. TC whose background is both scientific and explorational with his OOB work through Monroe institute has one of the most encouraging meta perspectives that I have read. He comes across in interviews as a sound mind.
I have noticed that there is a pattern with the new entrepreneurs in thought. First comes the free then comes the audience, the books and the fee based "curriculum" they promote. I have been releasing disappointment with my attention to people like George Kavassilas, IMO, the leading edge of maturity is our own practice of what we value.
Personally I value that consciousness is a sentient field that we, like all that is, lives within. If Consciousness has a direction toward expansion (teleology) like TC says, IMO it includes more and more variety so people can choose to be more individual expressions.
If Consciousness expanding is about gaining greater energy, IMO this means doing what supports negentropy (which means IMO "Don't spend all the energy in chaos") a kind of simplicity refinement for collecting "what fits" together. Arguments that may occur between ideas based n story are less simple than principles IMO that connect them. So many people can bespeaking to the same elephant with POVs.
If it moves towards greater elegance, then I believe all that means "beauty" is a value. Beauty is different than pretty. Pretty is not especially valuable and comfort can be an escape from real beauty..as in truth. Life can have beauty in even seeming bad things if these lead to greater beauty of being alive. At the same time, it is not beautiful to cause destruction.
Is there Universal beauty? I believe the Universe lays out sound patterns to follow. Imposition is not especially beautiful even if it looks good on the outside. messy is a part of beauty IMO that is construction and organic.
If it moves towards greater coherence (as coherence is non-dissapative of energy in chaos), then IMO, moving toward cooperation and becoming inclusive rather than exclusive: pulling ourselves together) is a value.
If love is that energy that brings coherence and if coherence is elegant, becoming personally an example of acting LIKE that means greater enlarging IMO of acceptance of expression of consciousness in all forms.
One key feature IMO of Consciousness as evolving is that it seems it must be a spiral outwards greater than the past expression. Out means to me change is appropriate and change that is defined is not really that different than the past. Feeling into everything as GK always invokes seems appropriate. When I feel into the "new age" spokespeople they just don't seem to be anticipating their own lack of importance as spokes people? They need to hold on to something for the sake of their own relevance. That tendency comes when people have felt the rush of being given attention and like it very well.

Delight, you have a more sophisticated and deeper understanding than me.
I am glad you also appreciate Tom Campbell's work. I think I have watched almost all of his youtube videos and heard many of his online audio only interviews as well. I think I am on the 4th or 5th re-listen to the audiobook trilogy. I have the paperback My Big TOE, but audio information input works better for me. I have been listening and re-listening to the second book the past week. It was the most difficult for me and only recently has there been some "lightbulb" moments of understanding. It is strange how different understanding is the second, third, fourth or fifth time on what is a complex topic.
Tom Campbell has often explained that what he is describing are metaphors of his understanding and experience of the Non Physical Matter Reality (NPMR) over the decades of his OOB research. After immersion into Tom Campbell's reasoned thinking - with his PhD in Physics, it is hard to go back to New Age-y explanations and speech patterns that seem to be missing the smacking and popping of bubble gum. (Evolution in alternative speakers can be a good thing.)
My Big TOE is tough going. For example, the concept of reducing entropy always took me an extra second to flip a concept. Entropy is bad - like chaos and disorder is bad is what I have to remind myself. So LESS entropy is good. In New Age-y speak it's always that MORE this-or-that is good.
Your explanation above is far more sophisticated than where my brain is at. I'm still dealing with basics. And, trying to figure out who of all the messengers might have something worth considering. Tom Campbell is very worthy, but that doesn't mean I've stopped examining data from other sources. Or seeking some of my own.
Thank you Delight for sharing your thoughts. I've had similar thoughts as stated in your last few sentences, too.

TC and his big TOE is a giant one (hehe) IMO. I went back and edited my thoughts a bit. It was because I was thinking more about beauty. I admit I didn't listen to the round table but i have looked at the speakers stuff in the past.
One of the places that I feel we are changing is that we are being stretched to understand the difference between what we project onto others and what is really occurring. I was thinking that beauty is something we mistake as more trivial "standards' of pleasant. If I were to meet an alien and could not appreciate an authentically different life form, it would be terrifying.
And if there are ways we refuse to reach beyond the known in constrictions based in beliefs, we are static. I also think something like what goes around comes around and we project onto the unknown the limits of our capacities.
So, I am personally attracted to the idea that by enlarging appreciation for "real" beauty, I can love the seeming alien in my mental conceptions of "reality". In the old science fiction movies, the standard response to all that is "alien" is that it threatens and we cannot understand what is not known but we can appreciate from a "meta perspective" of humility enough to learn to learn more and understand it? That is my little TOE today.

Delight: I don't understand what you are saying, but it takes me a while to catch on. I've read your words above several times now and don't get it. But, as I said, you have a more sophisticated and deeper understanding, thus a more complex expression, and I am still working on getting basics. Thank you, though.
