As all systems of politics, systems of finance, and systems of social/culture evolve in the given situation (country, continent, aftermath of war, etc), they attract the corrupt, greedy, and sociopathic.

Many to most times, the signature of all three are found in the single persons who are attracted. Like moths to a flame, they gather. And they work with one another. They infiltrate and collude with one another.

This is the nature of humans, and the reptilian shark-like nature of the sociopaths among us.

One must guard against it, continually, in all ways, and that guarding and watching itself must evolve, as the attempts and methods used to breach it will constantly evolve.

To guard and protect...from the beginning and the middle..or..the end will come.

What this means, is that they came by stealth as they can't move openly among a population that would strike them down if they were known.

And now the infiltration is complete, as the lie of it is seen by everyone.

Since the US used the opportunity to spread across the globe and infect the world with overt sociopathy and associated fascism (in the past century, primarily), it took longer than it would have if the US was totally isolated and there was less to feed on.

This is path that all known societies and cultures have taken, in all of history... this is the way it is, until people change it.

This sort of thing, these sort of hidden oligarchies with the friendly face... will only end, when people cease to suffer from mental inertia. Until then, this constant destruction and renewal will always exist.

And even that..is merely a cover for something much more vicious, more insidious, more cruel, and definitely more ancient.

Consider empathy.

We even get the odd flier, the odd variant, the odd outlier.
