CHARAMA (Chhattisgarh): Chhattisgarh state department of archaeology and culture plans to seek help from Nasa and Isro for research on 10,000-year-old rock paintings depicting aliens and UFOs in Charama region in Kanker district in tribal Bastar region.

According to archaeologist JR Bhagat, these paintings have depicted aliens like those shown in Hollywood and Bollywood flicks. Located about 130km from Raipur, the caves come under village Chandeli and Gotitola.

"The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen or imagined beings from other planets which still create curiosity among people and researchers. Extensive research is needed for further findings. Chhattisgarh presently doesn't have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject," Bhagat told TOI.

There are several beliefs among locals in these villages. While few worship the paintings, others narrate stories they have heard from ancestors about "rohela people" — the small sized ones — who used to land from sky in a round shaped flying object and take away one or two persons of village who never returned.

"The paintings are done in natural colours that have hardly faded despite the years. The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features. Specially, the nose and mouth are missing. In few pictures, they are even shown wearing space suits. We can't refute possibility of imagination by prehistoric men but humans usually fancy such things," the archaeologist said.

He added that it is a co-incidence that such ancient images appear to have sharp resemblance to UFOs shown in alien movies. "The fan-like antenna and three legs of vehicle's stand clearly show a similarity to UFO type craft," he said.

Other archaeologists would also be consulted for further verification.

Could be some of the folks from Atlantis as well. 10,000 is a guesstimate of probably give or take 2,000 years.

Edgar Cayce stated the last folks from Atlantis went down 12,500 years ago. Of course not all of them died. There were many migrations out of Atlantis.

Of course, those who are in a perpetual suspended state of cognitive dissonance will not hesitate to say that any conjectures that they look like aliens is only pareidolia and nothing more; statements I'm sure mainstream academia and NASA will be making should that rock art prove to be 10,000 yrs old or close to it. :p

Fair criticism. I believe there were never any aliens walking this planet.

I believe researchers, we the researchers, based on the evidences accumulated and available to us, have interpreted the information wrongly.
I also believe, those that have the true evidences are more than happy for the alternative studies to formulate strong evidences for the existence in the past of alien intervention.

I do believe we are not alone. I do believe that aliens exist. However after years of discerning the evidences I do not believe there was any interference from aliens in the creation or formulation of the human species.

Now return to Skywizards post and read what was found in Siberia. A group of bodies were found grouped together all wearing copper armour from head to foot.

Ask yourselves, why on earth would anyone want to wear copper armour covering their whole body?
What would cause the need for this to be done?

So before anyone starts giving the "aliens did it", I would recommend we consider what would cause the need for this behaviour. This is evidence.
Aliens, no evidence, other than interpretation.

I absolutely do believe there were other civilisations here on this planet and they were all humanoid, our ancestors in fact, including the thirty six foot giants of past millenia. Including through the period of neanderthals, pro magnum and others as Lucy from South Africa, millions of years old.

No I do not believe in the hypothesis that mankind crawled out of the sea, into the trees and grew legs, no way.
I also believe Darwins work was fantastic as a field botanist though I suspect his work was used to hide the truths of our distant past. So in a nutshell I would advise all students to steer clear of Darwinism.
