He needs to move up to the next level. What he calls money is currencey, and fiat currencey to boot.a piece of paper, a receipt complete with counter party risk, and bank bail ins..............Hold a piece of silver or gold, that's real money, exchangeable everywhere.in darkest africa or the north pole

I think the people focused on mineral based currency are funny. Much like the people focused on cars remaining the main mode of transportation.
I can not eat gold. And most natives found it to be quite useless, unless making jewelry( as they did not make circuitry) and if things fall apart to the point im trading in gold, no one will be making circuitry . What good is it to lug those minerals around?
Furthermore, your currency systems willl lead to same problems of old. You still have to get more gold or whatever and so you will invade and dig the ground like gold prospectors of yore. But what if that is to the moon or other planets in search of more minerals to fund the economy. Furthermore, who has most of the gold right now. You would be handing back control to very people you despise for putting the fiat in place, Who owns the worlds assets(which includes minerals!)?
Consider what you are reaching for: the past or the future?

what would u propose people use as a medium of exchange?or as a store of wealth....? your post seems very short sighted.for now....and imo the not so near distant future some form of money will still be used.also regarding minerals.....both silver and gold
have numerous industrial and medicinal uses.
