Mr. Pope winds me up and he is still subject to his secrecy oath
which he freely admits. I have 'winged' about him many times.
He is a mole in the UFO community put in place to front most
mainstream articles and news reports. If you look at BBC,Fox
ABC or who ever when ever they need a 'UFO Expert' on
comes Mr. Mulder Pope with his MOD ufo desk credentials.

The MOD also received masses of FOI requests and by putting
Pope in the public eye, this was hoped to satisfy demand by
him basically saying there was no really secret cases kept by
them.


The subjects he usually talk about are Rendlesham forrest,
Milton Torres , and sighting over a couple RAF bases.
All the cases he mentions were already in the public domain.
I have not heard him lately , so if he has finally said something
worth while fair enough. But to date I have not heard anything...

The RAF has tried to shoot down suspected UFOs as part of a Government directive.
Pilots have apparently fired upon the unidentified objects without success since the

1980s, according to Nick Pope, who used to run the Ministry of Defence's UFO project.
"There was a faction in the MoD who said 'We want to shoot down a UFO and that will
resolve the issue one way or another',"

"We know of cases where the order has been given to shoot down - with little effect to the UFO."
Mr Pope claimed that the RAF only attempted to engage when the mysterious objects
were perceived to be a threat.

He said: "In the case of UFOs, whether the object is causing a threat is very much a pilot's
judgement call. The public won't know unless it comes down in a heavily populated area."

I've not watched the video, but given his CV, Nick Pope could only have insider info on 911 if a UFO was involved - and it would have to be one sighted in the UK.
