Jim Brady, who was shot with President Reagan in 1981 by John Hinckley died a few days ago, but his death now in 2014 is being ruled HOMICIDE by the Virginia medical examiner.

Brady's notoriety was he was instrumental in the formation of the Brady Bill, a specific set of instructions that have to be followed for background checks prior to one obtaining a gun (critics say such was a severe hindrance of Second Amendment rights to obtain and bear arms).

Those that were wounded were Reagan, Brady, a police officer and a Secret Service agent outside a Washington hotel.

Does this new "ruling" increase the powers to see if a conspiracy existed (or exists?) Was Hinckley the sole gunman?

I would hope this would be a way to go after the cretinous GHWBS, but am not holding my breath. More likely to be some gun-grabbing soapbox opportunity. But we can hope.

This NY Times headline is what strikes me:

Coroner Is Said to Rule James Brady’s Death a Homicide, 33 Years After a Shooting

Makes it seem so, uh, "33" engineered...

There is a lot of information on executive powers being used to slip in "gun control" from what we can find.

Also interested in what is the significance of doing something like re-classifying what appeared as an "obvious" open and shut case, to be reclassified, especially when the perp is under lock and key... (although it appears that Hinckley still petitions to have more and more freedoms to walk around unsupervised)
