A small white feather fell on me... (what could it mean?)

It was 6:10 p.m. Friday, 8-15-14, Dallas Tx. I saw something white falling from the sky, I saw it coming closer and so i simply opened my hand and the feather dropped in my hand then fell onto my knee and stayed there. And if you check out my site you will notice that I had changed the formatting to the feather one, but i changed it a few days ago, and I do have a witness to that.

Anyway does anyone know the spiritual meaning to feathers and colors I cant seem to find a good link for one.

The author Paulo coelho only writes a new book when he sees a white feather In a particular month, forget which. Takes it as a sign from the divine to write his new book.

I am actually writing a new book, which is kewl in itself, But I really want to write a book about the MIB's but cant do that until my dad send back my questions. But I am in fact continuing on writing on several books really.

You know, I read this thread the other day and forgot to add my thanks, just wanted to get on and see what the informed responses might be. For some reason I started thinking about this during the night and had to come back and respond.

With no particular expertise behind me, I find this to be a beautiful affirmation from the living world that you're on the right path. I've had these type "signs" be given to me from time to time and always love getting a "pat on the back" from great spirit.
