Asking for thoughts and prayers

I just found out I lost my job position. at this time I am not working at all. I have a couple of offers, but not sure I can do that job, but there is one I might be able to do, and has been suggested that I try that job. but as I said, there is only ONE of those jobs open. Please, I could really use some thoughts and prayers sent my way. help influencing for the best position for me.

We all - at some point - come to these seemingly uncross-able crossroads where everything implodes and destructs and we are left with nothing.

But while you are trying to swim to the surface (and you will!) it might be useful to consider that perhaps all these losses are in fact freeing you from many outdated circumstances. Consider that this shocking juncture might, instead, represent a great and much-hoped-for opportunity to start afresh in a new and much-needed direction which your inner life has already focussed on.

I cannot reduce the pain you must be feeling. But I can only suggest that perhaps.... these events might yet work out in your best interests. I’ve faced this many times myself – and nothing can reduce the agony – but at the end, I am where I am now, which is in a pretty interesting and good place. And that’s what brought me here, kicking and screaming all the way.

I fully agree with Aragorn, the 'job' will find you. It has always worked for me this way but I only realised that last year. Don't worry at all, step back, ask yourself what will be the best for you at this stage and then follow it. I'm with you, best wishes!! :thumb:

Thanks all for your thoughts. i'm doing my best not to fall apart and cry, but at this time, it went from bad to worse. the list of job openings i was presented with yesterday (about 25 job openings) and the one i picked yesterday, I'm told i can't have.
They said it wasn't fair to the rest of the working force that I get my choice of jobs

Thanks all. Still trying to be calm. How do you guys do it? I'm a nervous wreck! lol I am working Temporarily (simply cuz I asked if I should go sign up for unemployment! ROFL)
In the job that normally would have sent me to the hospital after the first day. But few things have changed with that job. 1. I'm not working through the night now. It's afternoons, and I'm home and in bed before midnight. (My car turns into a pumpkin, you know. lol)
2. they have me sitting at my job.
3. I'm not doing anything that would be considered hard physical labor or heavy lifting. Heaviest thing I lift is a small box of ammo. about 1/2 a pound, if even that.

IF I could remain doing just that, I could do this. But, that's not the only job here, we are suppose to rotate, and some of the jobs in rotation ARE heavy lifting and hard labor, and standing. Oof!

I just keep praying that God will open their hearts and minds to my situation and find me a job open somewhere that I will be physically able to do, instead of putting me in jobs that I will fail at.... Like my last one.
Wait for the job to find me. My dad used to say something similar about life in general. lol Thanks.
So I'm waiting... waiting.. twiddling thumbs, waiting... waiting... getting stir crazy.... waiting. AUGH! lol

Well, I'm off today, no kids, no hubby. They went camping with the scouts. Think I'll go play at the lake. Or make a sail boat. I found a crazy looking sail boat made from a few boards, an inner tube, a pole, and a piece of nylon fabric. Think I'll call it the SS Hillbilly. lol Hey.... it's a chance to go get wet. (No swim from shore, boats only.)

Let me be the first to say Congratulations!

This could be a terrific opportunity to back out of a possible dead-end space. This, instead of a crisis, could be a fantastic opportunity. Problem is most of us I think end up in panic mode when big changes happen.

Let the change happen.

Don't fight it. Go with it. Climb on the inner tube and see where it takes you.

Hmmm, where to find a great big inner tube? something the size of a rear tire of a tractor. Tractor supply says they don't make tubes for tractors anymore. bummer. I'm trying to make something like a corky, but on a much larger scale. Put a small basket (something that would look like a miniature bushel basket) and put a parrot in it. lol

Hang in there! Put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward. Keep positive. Things always work out somehow. They may not work out the way you expect, but that's what makes life so interesting. This is a time for new beginnings.
