Recent reports have been circulating about a Polar Vortex hitting the northeast in september.
All I can find is random predictions from local news media. I don't know about you folks but the weather predictions in my area are a hit and miss if it's more than 36 hours out. I was able to find a definition however i'm wondering how they can predict this a month in advance when they are usually wrong about a local forecast three days from now?

September? I live at the north east corner of Lake Ontario, and we have just had the coldest summer on record. This follows the coldest and longest winter in 50 years. All of this has been blamed on the polar vortex, which seems to have split North America's weather into an east-west pattern this year, with the dividing line going right down the Mississppi River, just as Dane Wiginton has been saying for some time now:

I think I can answer that, but first I will tell you that "Polar Vortex" is another one of those GovtMSM phrases or memes that we're supposed to obsess over - along the lines of "Fiscal Cliff" "Global Warming" "War On Terror". Clever, are they not?
I don't believe for a minute that this "polar vortex" is a naturally occurring phenomenon, nor is it something caused by "Global Warming" as they would have you believe. A friend recently asked me if I'd ever heard of a Polar Vortex, and since I had not, we decided to scour Google to see when it first appeared as an actual thing. We googled by date, starting in the nineties and working forward. The first mention of it, anywhere, that we were able to find was within the last year.
I have no doubt that this out of place cold weather exists. Most likely engineered for our panicking benefit. In any event, it is a symptom of something else...I'd be looking at striped sky Geoengineering/weather modification/chemtrails being behind it.
So back to your question...how are they able to predict a "polar vortex" so far in advance? Because, IMO, they've planned it to happen then.
There's some good info here:

This is a heads up that "they", (the idiots), are going to be hitting us with HAARP pretty hard this Winter, for the sake of causing crops to prematurely freeze and die, and wreak all kinds of fun and games on people.
When does the Fall harvest start? Mid Fall, as in late October not in September...

Remember El Nino?
Haha, EXACTLY. That's another one...and didn't that give birth to La Nina? Next, we'll have El hijo, la hija, El Tio, ...brush up on your Spanish, everyone!

I think "polar vortex" is American for El Nino. Due to a anti-alien political climate, they moved away from espanol...

"The key to understanding so-called climate change is the electromagnetic connection between Earth and the Sun" says astrophysicist (http://iceagenow.info/2014/08/idea-man-controls-co2-delusional-nonsense-astrophysicist/)

Astrophysicist Piers Corbyn on “The Myth of Man-Made Global Warming”
Piers Corbyn has received international acclaim for the accuracy of his long-range climate forecasts. Although we hear daily of a scientific consensus to the contrary, what does Piers make of mankind’s alleged role in affecting the climate on Earth?

Piers presented at the recent Electric Universe conference in Albuquerque New Mexico, which featured investigators from wide ranging disciplines who had come to a common conclusion. Namely, that the key to understanding so-called climate change is the electromagnetic connection between Earth and the Sun.

“Satellite data shows clearly that for the last ten years temperatures have been falling,” says astrophysicist Piers Corbyn.
Here are some of the highlights of his talk.
“Carbon dioxide does not drive climate,” says Piers. “Rather, temperature changes in the oceans, in the long run, drive carbon dioxide levels.”
“There is no actual evidence for the CO2 theory. Termites emit ten times more CO2 than man. The idea that termites, or cows, or whatever you have, are going to hold still while man does his thing is completely absurd. The idea that man controls CO2 is actually delusional nonsense.”
“Climate has changed for millions of years. The only thing that’s different now is that man is claiming he’s doing it.”
What drives our climate? asks Piers. “Solar activity.”
When you’ve got periods of low solar activity, like now, two things happen. One thing is that the jet stream on average goes farther south, and the other is that it swings more wildly north to south. And that means we get much bigger extremes in temperature.
Central to Piers predictions is the recognition that the sun and earth are connected electromagnetically See also:

So, the real culprit playing that HAARP... is the Sun!

The temperatures were warmer in Roman and medieval times and the planet has been cooling for the last 2000 years. NASA has been caught lying about increasing polar temperatures and we are more likely to have a mini ice age than global warming.
Spraying nano metal particulates into the atmosphere since 1999 is more likely to cause atmospheric warming and dimming as well as other anti-human effects.

The local weatherman that has been in our unique area for many , many years dubbed it a polar 'burp' ... but personally i started becoming weather conscience when I studied all I could find in the schools libraries back in the late 60's....so I remember more details..
It is a fact we are experiencing a cooler summer (and rainier) and cooler winter (last one) than normal. typically this time of year its in the 90's (usually mid)..and little rain. but seems more like September weather ...except the sun on exposed skin is quite hot... maybe just cuz I'm getting older...could be the thinner magnetosphere .
Still nothing topped the year(I think around late 60's early 70's) My dad and I took two weeks of his ten week vacation he rarely got..to build a camping trailer..and it rained every single day the rest of the 8 weeks remaining... what a bummer.
Then there was that really cold winter that came on real strong (mid/late nineties?) that just stopped completely in mid January..and was like summer afterward..
I'm in East Tennessee (Eastern US) foot of Great Smoky's
