I just came across this on Twitter and thought it was worth sharing. It is a bot that monitors Wikipedia for any editing that originates from Congress, which then links to the before and edited version. The inspiration for this comes from the U.K.'s @Parliamentedits.

Granted, anyone using a computer from the House could be doing the Wikipedia edits, but it is interesting knowing what's on Congressional staffers' minds, too. Most of the topics are wildly random and some are pretty funny...especially Safeway(?!) and Horse head mask.

Here are the subjects of some of their more interesting anonymous Wikipedia edits:

Safeway, Inc.
MKUltra
Transphobia
Nibiru
Transgender disorder
Ica Stones
Annunaki
Chelsea Manning
Horse head mask
E Street Band
Montauk Project
United States gravity control propulsion resear
Dialectic and Philanthropic Societies
Wendy
Обсуждение:Медведев, Дмитрий Анатольевич
Reptilians
Skull and Bones
High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (H.A.A.R.P.)
Putin Khuilo!
Choco Taco
New World Information and Communication Order
Moon landing conspiracy theories

Here are all of the actual Tweets from @congressedits:

Great idea, interesting stuff. It is possible, though, that one could spoof the congressional IP and make these edits. Just something to keep in mind.

Here's an easier way of seeing all the edits, if you're allergic to Twitter like I am:
