Most of us are aware of the BRICS financial system which was officially declared in July of 2014, whereas, member countries will import and export products and resources in their own currencies - bypassing the US dollar.
An (sort of) example is Egypt, which is rebuilding their canal system. The goverment of Egypt is issuing bonds to raise the necessary funding. These bonds are for sale only to Egyptian citizens (no Wall St, etc), in effect, creating a micro economy within Egypt. This canal project is already moving forward at a mind-boggling pace.
For the optimistic news...
During a webcast on August 15th, 2014 LaRouche spoke of a 'friend' whom was traveling around and reporting back to him that important persons involved in the current financial system/paradigm in the US and abroad, are "selling out" for a better system. Mr LaRouche seems very positive that the current monetary system is going to be cleaned up. (Never seen him this happy) Watch from 6:00 to 12:30 to hear the statements.
In the final minutes of the webcast (49:30 to 51:00), Mr. LaRouche identifies this 'friend' as Jeff. This may be Jeff Steinburg, whom is a writer for Executive Intelligence Review magazine.
