On this site, I'm a closet sports nut. Only a few here really know that (until now, lol), and they like to tease me about it. I run my own sports message board like this one, I spend my weekend holed up in my office with my tv and beer, screaming at the top of my lungs. Everyone does their best to avoid me

I work in a professional capacity..recruiting professors for a major university.
People I work with have often said directly to me: "You are the single nicest man I have ever met".
I don't know if that is true...but I am told this too often not to think I must be pretty nice:) If anyone ever needs a sympathetic ear about anything...please PM me. I'd be happy to support you in whatever way I can.

Thanks 'The One'
I agree, our attitude and observation of such, is the most single important part of us, or our 'energy' We are in a continual flow and coming from variable sources, it can often be difficult to navigate through.
We have little to no control of anything else and if our own 'energy' or balance (headspace) is not observed on a moment by moment basis then we can easily fall into a reactive mode and 'balance' can fly out the window at the speed of light.
It helps greatly to stay grounded and balanced when we choose what we think about, who we associate with, their energy, their reactive dispostions. their view of things...As I say to my daughters, choose your friends wisely, think about what your thinking and take time to make sure it is a 'heart' choice and not a influenced 'head' choice.
At 46 years I am so much better at doing this and 'see' the results of a heart influenced attitude. Old programmes can still play their hand but they get sorted quick smart without the 'pain' and enduring of the 'corrupt software' and understanding that most reactions come from others and often have nothing to do with you (taking things personally) If that makes sense to those reading this...It does to me.

I'm still a work in progress.
I really like this topic because recently I had someone break into my car and steal some paper products (yep - they got the "costco" sized tp, paper towels and some garbage bags), but the changes in my attitude have really helped me get through it a lot faster. It took me a couple of days to find real balance and peace with the situation. However, now I can say, I had a good week, but some bad stuff happened - w/out it sounding like a lie. Because last week was really a great week, except that I had to waste time and money because someone decided to use the "five-finger discount".
I am also one of the nicest, sweetest people you'll ever meet. And at my high school reunion, my old friends were glad that I hadn't changed a bit! :cool2:

This is such a nice synchronicity, The One :) I lived with these same thoughts for the last weeks, thinking about how to include more of our 3D life within these Avalon conversations.
I decided to do just that, myself. And see what happened....some of us are piciking up on this...if you observe well and now you introduce the same request, The One.
That's really wonderful, I guess I am talented in creating space for things to happen, to transform and be refreshed, updated. I am not very fond of routine as a habit. The value of sharing our human beingness more here in the Forum is, that it's making us more human. Sometimes hiding behind a PC screen can strip off the human side a bit, don't you think? Also the convenience of non-commitment can be a frustration, in conversing online, I think. Not that I am complaining here, on the contrary :) But, as it's a non physical communication, we can compensate that by telling each other about our attitude, in life, how we feel, the details of our home, whatever.....this way there's more sense of us living in a physical reality.
What can I tell about myself? I recently introduced myself....my life in 3D, today I choose to share my wonder and amazement in finding so much synchronicities, everywhere.
All is being cared for, or so it seems. I live with an open heart and know there is nothing to be afraid of, only reasons to love more :) I love you all very much, Avaloneans :)
There's really no end to love, no limits, cause it's source never ceases to exist.

Hi all,
I dropped out of the rat race about 10 years ago, took a small redundancy package and went traveling through asia.Mainly Thailand and India, with a bit of time in Sri Lanka,Laos and Nepal.Been in the Philippines for the last three years.I live very cheaply.Havn't had running hot water,a flushing toilet or a working shower for three years, just use a bucket and ladle.Been hand washing my clothes for 10 years.Am a vego,do yoga, like to go walking a lot.No i'm not a hippy lol.Listen to a lot of music, about 4 or 5 hours a day.Been researching alternative info since 2006.One of my favourite pastimes at the moment is participating in sports tipping competitions on the net.i think we are lucky to be around at this time, the next 2 or 3 years should be very interesting.cheers

Well, this sounds fun.
Something about me - I play bass, a bit of violin, and some guitar. Since around 2008, I've been playing bass for several bands; touring and whatnot. When I'm not doing that, I put my education to work. I am employed by a college in the main library; although, as of yesterday morning, I was offered a much more interesting position with a few colleagues. Quite an odd combination of interests, I'd suppose! I studied English and psychology, and have been pursuing graduate work in the latter field. A bit of humor; I've been enrolled at a college of some kind since my junior year in high school.
In the bits of free time I have in between, I enjoy reading, writing, and gardening. I've read, at the rate of one book per week, since I was in high school; which is sort of neat, I suppose.
My words of advice: Know who you are, or someone else will be more than glad to fill in the blanks.

I like this thread. It's nice to get a more personal handle on people.
For myself the following are some things that apply to me...
I'm a tall ship sailor
I'm a nurse
I know how to make cheese from fresh cows milk
I've a decent grasp of celestial navigation
I'm a Red Wings fan
I speak a little Irish
When I was a very broke single mother of five and in nursing school...I poached deer. (and can drop a deer with one shot from a .22 rifle)
I admit that at times, I am afraid for what I sense is coming...afraid for my families future.
And yes, I get the whole "you're focus determines your reality" thing (bless you Yoda). But still, there are times and I guess it's almost a kind of mourning.
For me, it's an up and down process and 'feelings' have a way of sneaking up on me when I'm not watching.
Anyways...peace and love

I cant pretend that im in anyways perfect, but im giving it my best shot. I like the simple things in life such as kindness from strangers, compassion and brotherhood.
Sometimes I like to go for a walk on my own at night when the stars are out and talk to the sky wondering if someones actually listening, and hoping that the neighbours arent watching.
During the day I go to college persuing a degree in psychology which i know will never happen as the world thats to come wont cater for that kind of thing, but it keeps me somewhat connected with my peers which is the real reason why im there. I like to make friends and explore other peoples point of view and try to see what the world looks like from their eyes. And also enjoy having a laugh and enjoying others company and brother/sisterhood
I love to explore myself, especially my emotional self, and find ways in which I can improve that in order to get an even flow of energy and in the process avoid experiencing too much pain. But its clear to me now that pain is a part of life, as it seems that i have to experience a "lifetimes worth" before i can actually come to a place of harmony. I want to help the people of this planet in whatever way is possible, and i feel that is through finding out what makes us tick, and then figuring out whats making us tick badly in order to fix it. That too, is a work in progress, a pretty major one too.
In the evening time I like to spend my time lying down on my bed and moving energetic blockages out of my system, and considering my circumstances growing up, theres a lot of blockages. But im making progress which is good, and hopefully becoming a more loving and caring person in the process.
Thats me in a nutshell :)

I AM a lover of all things, even YOU!
My favorite color is any shade of blue.
I love to create... and expressing myself through art, dancing and singing, truly brings me the most joy.
I believe that laughing is ALWAYS the best medicine and it's by far my most favorite thing to do :p
I love hugs, animals and nature.
I see beauty in every being... and can find it anywhere I look.
I don't see us as apart from God, I believe WE ARE GOD.
I wish for complete autonomy, equality and liberation from all that binds us.

Well I like this thread, But due to the "you never know who is watching you" Meaning People join a forum to spy, track IP addresses Ect I always Hide my identity whenever I'm on the net.
That's why I'm a ghost on the internet ;) I don't trust anyone I don't know and never will. The internet is a open book for them to see;) .If you know what I meen ;)
I take everything I read, see, and hear on the internet like a grain of salt..I use my own mind to come to my own conclusion..And rarely believe in anything I see on the TV or read in the paper, or more so whatever has control to what is being seen or said in the world we live in. Some people I have met say that I am overly Paranoid, But I'm not I'm just cautious and have very good common sense . Well since 9/11 I started opening my eyes, everyone has to start somewhere..
I am far from smarter then a lot of people here and being here expands my own mind. And I'm very grateful to be part of this forum because it helps me expand my mind even more.
But other then that a little bit about my self short and sweet.
I'm a very caring, kind and compassionate person. Some would not believe it by the way I look..
I love and love to create music and have been a musician since I was 14 years old.
I love to build and fix computers for people and help them make their computing more safe and fun for the individual."it was always a great reward to make something better then it was"
I'm a PC gamer I love to game in my spare time. Mostly Call Of Duty games all of them :)
I am going to school for training to be a system manager some place on earth.
I love animals very dearly, nature is also a very powerful aspect in my life as well.
I love people to a certain point.
My family are very near and dear to me.
But most of all I love me :)
Well that's about it in a nut shell welcome to my world :)

Illuminate your post #23 is so beautiful. I am most myself freshly showered, no makeup, no body products lying in the sun ( very little if anything on)meditating and singing, humming, stretching, drawing, writing --a cool gentle breeze is a plus. As I live in a city that is very hot 8 months a year. your post reminds me I need to do that more often instead of connecting with nature by hiking. It is so hard to find people who want to go out into nature here as they think the desert is ugly. It is'nt it just has a beauty all it's own. Indigo blue and bright periwinkle are my favorite colors.MzVaFf thanks for the enlightening thread.

Even though I'm 63, I still have not figured out who I am. The direction I seem to be going is Metaphysical, I can see that much. But I'm never satisfied and always am looking for more. But, like so many of us, I do not know WHAT I'm looking for.
I've done tons of stuff during my life to 'find' whatever it is I'm looking for. From being an outlaw biker to channeling one of my Spirit Guides. I've been to Egypt, have a crystal poked into a crack in the wall of the building on top of the pyramid at CHICHENISA in Mexico. Visited Anna-Mitchell Hedges in London, Canada before she passed and charged some crystals by the crystal skull, was a member of MUFON.
Most of my life, I have been very interested in anything that points to disclosure and UFO's in general. I find myself wanting to have an experience with an alien. When I read and see all these videos of people, after an encounter, they say, "Why Me?". I'm the one saying, "Why not me?"
Oh, Yea... I'm very happily married and am the family photographer.

That is a pretty serious job. You'd have to be widely read and very broad minded, and quite unflappable. And mentally as quick as a bunny.
"The Pre-Fesser Whisperer".
I spend most of my time shut down. I find intellectually challenging conversations -at my peak- are so few and far between..that I spend the vast majority of my time dumbing myself down so can fit in with society in some fashion. I scare people, most of the time. Freak city, dood! The only reply back I've ever managed to get from people is that I'm the most intelligent person they've ever met. I work hard trying to not let that get too deep into my head.

I am a graphic designer working from home and that really feels more like freedom than some of the jobs I have done in the past.
I will be 50 this year and with advancing age has come an inner calmness and peace which I like to think is one of my better assets...I have also just decided that I want to learn to play the piano after all these years of musical neglect.
I hope that my future involves moving out to the countryside with my wife and spurning the excesses of a modern city, where I hope one day to watch the sun setting over open fields while eating home grown vegetables.
My greatest achievement is the raising of twin boys into fine young men now studying engineering in University and attempting to get them to turn their scientific young minds to the search for the unusual.

When I started seeing things in a different perspective, I was afraid of changing my ways, I thought I was going crazy! I am without name or identity.
I am neither the shadow I cast nor the light I reflect. I am Mirror reflected within Mirror.
I am gray. Dark within light, light within dark.
I favor all colours equally including those which can not be witnessed by any eye.
I am neither risen nor fallen, only forever surfing the ever-standing wave oscillation of which includes both peak and valley as necessary instruments within the Ever-Pulse.
My heart beats because of all hearts which have beaten, are beating and shall beat.
My existence is a small fragment of a compound eye which serves solely to, in cohesion with adjacent fragments, witness and facilitate consciousness-birth-unveiling.
My cloak of mirrors is the creation of aural and visual art for the sole purpose of nudging veiled souls so that they may catch a glimpse of self-clarity in the looking glass to see the doorways within and around them.
This body is my second Earthen vehicle, and my last.
I never sleep. My physicality rests. I am always at work and always at play.:lazy2:
I follow no dogma or teachings, only experience and Nature.
I am neither pure nor impure, perfect nor imperfect.

Hello all
Im Alex i dont compltely know who i am, i feel things are slowly unfplding though, i dont have anyone direct to speak too about topics which us avalonians talk about.
As far back as i can remember since i was child, i have always been adament that there is more to everything around us, more to life and even death but i havnt had anyone over 20 years to talk about this if i did discuss these issues the people around me would have probably thought i am crazy lol. But luckily i discoverd this website full of fantastic and lovely individuals and i feel i have blossomd from here on in.
Ive have always been completely and utterly fascinated by ET life , humanitys history, and all topics that relate to this, it just amazes me. A lot of people i meet say im very level headed and very mature for my age and infact quite startled when i do tell them my age, ( not blowing my own trumpet or anything, its something i disagree with).
Since ive left school i have worked in various trades, purely because i enjoy manual work and problem solving, im currently working in the gas trade doing an apprenticeship, but i feel im wasting my time because i now feel i should be helping humanity in this phase we are passing through.
This is a basic description of me and id like to thank everybody for the love and information you share!
If you have any questions then feel free to ask :)

My threat is to allow people to make their locations be aware. For all you know, your neighbor down the street or the girl working at the coffee shop could have a nice conversation with you. Instead of "did you see......on tv last night?"

Who am I? Well that depends on what time of day you look in on me. I am a wife, Mom, seeker who is often lost. Funny thing is when you know
that your lost that's when you can start to find yourself. I was the little girl who'd sneak off to the woods and sit beneath Her favorite tree to read
and old tale or two. All the while enjoying the sights and sounds going on around me, quite ecstatic if a honeybee landed on my hand. Silly I know
but although I am great with people, family, friends, I talk to new people all day long. I am still shocked at how much of themselves others will freely
in the space of a few moments share. I find that I miss the peace I once had. I can see it in the loving souls here. Maybe that is why I choose to stay. I hope for everyone
is love and forgiveness.

Nice thread. ;)
I'm a very quiet loner who prefer to communicate with keyboard. And I love to observe the world instead of participating.
My job is a project manager and I'm considered a problem solver who can foresee the problem. But clients' love is too much for me. So I'm thinking about changing the direction of life, spending more time reading, learning new things and helping people. And relax more. :p
Speaking of direction... I have very little sense of direction. Despite I've lived in a city for nearly 40 years, I only know how to go to office and how to go home from office. If I need to go to somewhere else, I need to consult Google map. :o But the funny thing is, strangers love to ask me for direction. So all I can do is trying my best to tell them (and hope my answer is right), or asking them to ask someone else. :o

student my whole life, have locked myself in this room most of my life, don't have many friends,
when I were a child I wanted to destroy the world, funny that remembering it, if I had a button to destroy the earth I would do it, even before I could think, it would be my body again, acting on its own, weird is that my body sometimes acts strangely when i am daydreaming,,,,
also game design course here in brazil, I hope I can find some company to put some money on my indie games company, but I am the only one doing work now
also a music I found inside my pc.....

I've never been able to understand people well at all. Because of this i tend to stay away from people .
I've never been able to see myself with a future job, like when you're young and you decide im gunna be a doctor or a teen and decide you're going to go for a managers position because you want the money/experience etc. It's weird.. Like i was meant to be doing something else but i have absolutely no clue what.
I'm extreamy lucky with my current job. I get alot of time and freedom to surf the web. Recently i've been going on a blitz youtubing/googling all sorts of weird stuff, and its very strange. I had such difficulties in school learning. Most of grade 1 and 2 i spent outside the classroom, i was too difficult for the teachers. Left highscool with subpar grades also, but i'm far from dumb or stupid. Yet now, in my spare time when i look up stuff, its being ingrained into my brain immediately. I know how to take cow's milk and turn it into cheeze. I also know half of how to make soap (for reading later ;) - its werid im noticing me picking up everything that has nothing to do with what a "normal" person would consider relevant/important.
serverley addicted to computer games :P I'm pretty sure because of my inability to get along with people that i can use computer's so well and like them so much.
I do not like showing my emotions to people. If it's anything other than angry (even realy happy) i just burst into tears. And i do not like that... wish i could express what i was feeling without turning into a sobbing wreck.
Since about the last year i've picked up an interest for gardening, growing food to be more specific. But feel pitty for the plants i attempt to grow.... Just because i decided to get into gardening doesnt mean it was the best of idea's when the only area i have to work with was my balcony. With the weather being weird etc the plants havent been going to well. Tomato Beefsteak's the size of cherry tomatoes :P I'm still over the moon ive managed to grow my own tomatoes, and red kidney beans tho.
Love animals, love cats more specificly :) I am pretty sure i have allergy's to them tho! But all animals are so precious, and often suffer alot at the hands of people who regard them as just another "object which they own and can do whatever they please too". It is so hard to restrain myself, We've got two abused cat's. One will walk right up to you and want cuddles, so gentlle and loving. In contrast the other is very skittish, scared of loud noises and unfarmiluar faces, and prefer's a small confined space rather than being in an open room :( We're working on her!
Very recently i've come to the conclusion that i realy dont like the world around me . I can where the train is headed, and am not fooled by the brochur's that say its great and fantastic, and i realise that i have a choice, that i dont have to continue living in the middle of the city where i am now, and that i can go buy a piece of land somewhere quiet and start a farm. Unfortunately with choice comes consiquence, when you're partner has Chron's disease, and is still very much assleep - and you're parents are starting to think you're going completely nutty/anti-society.... i'm taking steps to ensure the ongoing food crisis does not leave my family hungry, trying to increase my knowledge on everything that i feel is important and relevant, and keeping my chin up, because even with all the **** going on arond us, life is beautifull, and nature is amazing.

On this site, I'm a closet sports nut. Only a few here really know that (until now, lol), and they like to tease me about it. I run my own sports message board like this one, I spend my weekend holed up in my office with my tv and beer, screaming at the top of my lungs. Everyone does their best to avoid me
Beth! You? Tell me you love mixed martial arts!!!???

I do like boxing, but not really into MMA all that much. It's mostly college basketball/football and NFL for me. But I do watch baseball, tennis, and some soccer.
Hope I didn't disappoint you too much

I call myself The Mad Spiritualist because ever since I can remember I felt out of place here. I could not understand why people acted the way they do. This place is a hard assignment for me. It feels like have not been here before and if I have it was a time that was not so violent. I have never like anger as I am fearful of what I may do cause what makes me angry is the sickness I see around me. The sickness is not medical but ethical. People who have no regard or respect for life. I've learned to channel my anger into positive energy so I am no longer afraid. I try to see the positive in the negative which is not always easy at the time. I'm not afraid to speak my mind which has brought me troubles that most would like to avoid. I'm good at seeing through the bull****. I'm tactful when I do speak my mind and I try not to judge people or their situations because I understand we are all on separate personal journeys yet we are all on the same journey.
I'm a strong Leo! A double Leo according to my astrologer with a very strong spiritual presence. All through at life through spiritual glasses. Material things are not a big concern all though I enjoy many of them. I'm very purpose driven so much so I tend to overlook things at times. I love interacting with all types of people but really only have a few close friends due to my pursuit of truth most people think I'm nuts and don't know what to make of me.
I love my MJ! Although I'm not your atypical stoner. I have always had high anxiety and MJ just kills it for me when I cannot. I like to experiment with psychedelics from time to time to expand my horizon or the horizon.;) I don't like alcohol that much but enjoy the occasional top shelf tequila or wine.
I like to do outside activities such as hiking, mountain biking, camping, meditating in a cool place, exploring caves and unique places.

I have something to add= I dream with my eyes wide open. I've made an effort to do so after I read The Seven Pillars of Wisdom. Everything/anything is possible once one harnesses the most powerful force available to man= INTENT/WILL.

The current CEO of IBM is a friend, actually an old high school friend! Prior to him taking office one of the former CEO's had this one word put on everyone's desk....................."THINK"
It took a long time for me to understand this but it finally sunk in! To save you time:
Before you hit the post a quick reply ...."think". Before you hit enter on an email............. "think". Before you make that telephone call...."think".
Before you make a life decision.........."think". After reading something........."think".
Think about everything you do before taking action!
This is a life lesson that you will be rewarded by many times over!
